i know this sounds stupid but i am stuck on lvl 4. the puller bot pulls all the way to the wall and i don't know how to stop it

how do you beat level 40??? ive been stuck on it for an entire day! i almost have it but im missing something and i cant seem to figure it out.

a single light bulb can power itself. Light it up using something, put a solar panel near it, on the same wire, and remove the original power.
The light bulb will not turn off because it is being given power by the solar panel, which is charged solely by the light it is powering.
This is what is known as perpetual motion.
