i just finished it in normal mode and i have some Suggestions: (1) when a person retreats, just add him to the stock of people you have available in that building. (2) maybe put achievements that give you something ? (3) the medics are seriously almost useless. maybe raise their healing ability? or the more they heal, the better they become? (4) i've never used the shotguns (i'm guessing noone has), maybe put instead of the shotguns attacking units in a line, they attack units in the adjacent lines? (5) @visionmaster, dude defenders are imba in almost every level because of their push back ability !!! especially last level !!! (that's it for today, i may have more when i think about it)
Hey thanks for your suggestions! Yes the defender gets very useful as last resort with high difficulties or levels! All the suggestions are good I'm improving the game right now

Black screen, I reloaded a couple of times to see if it would work, but only got a flash of a picture before black screen again.

Seem to have a problem of putting out the elite second unit, even though I have build them they are greyed out. The barbwire and the barrack seem to have this problem. Otherwise and interesting take of a PvZ game.

There seems to be a bug, several times now I have waited for the level to end when it didn't. No enemies appeared but the level doesn't end. Happened 3 times now and I am sick of it.

(Part #3) - Never use the HQ or defenders. As for powers, sometimes use heal or increase the efficiency of workers, but you will accumulate so much soul points you don't need :)
Rinse, repeat on every map.

(Part #2)
- The armory must be ended by now, construct now the barracks with all your workers (or almost), 4th slot
- Then construct the training grounds with all your men and make them all work there, 3rd slot
- Replace every knife/pistol soldier, as soon as they fall, by a heavy, and complete all columns to the rightmost column of the board
- Then, replace all but the four rightmost columns of heavys/whatever by heavy snipers.
Never use the armory.
Never use the barracks (except for the mission where you don't have yet the training grounds, just do the same and use shotguns instead of heavys and sniper instead of heavy snipers).
Never use the hospital.

Game is kinda easy in normal mode (didn't try hard mode yet).
Different steps to win every mission, with a silver medal :
- Place your depot on the second slot from the left
- Assign all workers but one at the construction of the shelter (first slot from the left)
- The last worker begins to construct the armory (fifth slot from the left)
- Meanwhile, complete the four last columns with the pattern : pistol - pistol - knife - knife, beginning by the rightmost knife columns and pistol, then leftmost pistol, then leftmost knife. Afterwards, replace immediately every knife soldier that dies. You should have enough resources at your shelter for that.

I don't know if this is an issue with the game or not, but I think I reached the end of level 2, but one of the girls was attacked, so instead of the level ending after all the monsters are done attacking it seems to just keep waiting. I'm building up enough people to fill the board with guys, but no monsters are coming out.
