there should be fast battle button, I just hate watching same awfully slow animation over and over again. and missing a hit 3 times in a row with 85% chance to hit. I'm not whining, I just would like to somehow skip it, or fast forward :)

i dont know if it's just me, but it seem like it glitches. whenever in a dungeon. He goes back and fourth.....and the key's get stuck alot. That usually dosent happen, so its the game.

this game is nice and smooth decent animation for battle but it needs a alternative way to get gold also the defense thing O.o good idea bad set up why must you personal kill off 15 enemys to get your first unit normal defense games start you off with a lil gold for the defending part ya know

just finished all the game and my few thoughts are: crafting is not a bit necessary for easily finishing the game. i think it would be nice to improve that. game clearly has many performance issues (not the key stick thing), it always slows down on random moments (i have a 4 core cpu and 4gb ram so my pc is not an issue). the game is easy in my opinion, most people like challenging rpgs. hardest part of the game for me was the first couple orange missions, but not too hard anyway, i never died. just once cause i wondered what happens when we die lol. it turns out we lose NOTHING if we die. that needs to be fixed i think. anyway thanks for this great great game!

@DHEsquire: The protection of your enemy reduce the damage you inflict. And your Anatomy skill affect somehow your damage output. don't forget the type of attack you use (light, normal or heavy) because it also affect the damage you deal.

Love it, a bit grindy on quests though. Only main problem i have is the dice system, i have a bow which deals damage 2d6. The minimum damage i can do is 2, the max being 12, however, after 30+ fights, the most damage ive ever dealt is 7, seems wrong to me, im no mathmetician but im sure i should have pulled at least one attack dealing closer to the 12 mark? Anyone else having this problem?

Well this game is good... but not more than good. It becomes very repeatetive (sorry for spelling) after a while. And I mostly agree with the Top 3 comments. Keep it up! 4/5

It Missed. You Miss. It Missed. You Miss. It Missed. You Miss. It Missed. You Miss. It Missed. You Miss. It Missed. You Miss. It Missed. You Miss. It Missed. You Miss. It Missed. You Miss.
I swear 90% of this game is a waste of my time.

Please put an item filter in the storehouse! When you're doing the Mystery Dungeon and sending stuff home to later equip your defense troops with, it gets tedious to have to sift through pages of stuff to find each type of equipment.
Similarly, if there could be a way of filtering the objects found in chests, perhaps by value or, for weapons, by their hit dice, that would make things much easier (and less tedious) too.

This game needs more options... something to add to the constant clicking of attack buttons repeatedly. How about a character leveling system in addition to the skill leveling system? It could add so much to your character, because now I feel like I'm just playing a computerized character that is the same as anyone else who picked the same "character creation" questions at the beginning as I picked. Actually, we are playing the same character.
This game has so much potential, but needs some work to make it deeper and feel like I'm playing a game rather than just clicking "attack" for no apparent reason.

In the future game i would like to see an actual town, the "town" user interface is just poorly done to me, honestly better yet do a world, but that may be a loooooot of work, so i understand, just an actual town then (it would make owning a house a lot better placed too, i don't really use the house here). You should also be able to become a vampire, with certain bonuses and deficiencies of course. You should also be able to choose which race of character you are (you may be able to at the beginning but i didn't notice because it wouldn't have stat differences and it should)

You should have one random dungeon for each level of difficulty, still getting more difficult as you go down farther, and with better rewards in the higher dungeons than lower

I refreshed my screen at the point where I was supposed to choose between heaven and hell...and now I can't get back to that. The dungeon is no longer there...any ideas or suggestions?

@Raven1417 You didn't calculate the enemy's defense which is shown at the top.
@Bladelore You didn't calculate the enemy's dodge.

Really needs a buyback function, there's nothing more annoying than accidently selling the best game in the weapon with no way to get it back.

Yeah, mages are hugely overpowered compared to others - in addition to what Eclecto has mentioned already, once your Blacksmithing/Alchemy are trained, mages also get the most powerful/easily buffed weapon in the game. Archers arguably have a very slight advantage in defence quests (they can hit 4 spaces compared to 3 for the others), not that that really matters; warriors have no form of advantage at all. All this is in the grand tradition of the Protector series. :)

Ok, yeah, mages start out with a bit lower physical defense and higher magic defense, but in the end it all balances out depending on what you're exposed to, right? Also, mages get to start attacking the earliest in defense missions. It's almost ridiculous.

Is it just me or is the spellcaster build objectively superior to anything else? I mean, as far as I can see mages are identical to warriors and archers as far as damage potential and defense, and they have the added bonus that they get better at spellcasting just by attacking.
