ok, that's weird: On first loadup ruffle loaded the game just fine, played for awhile and was curious about save system functionality. I reloaded the page and now it won't boot at all.

Someone hire a statistician. Skill at 80% but missed 6 times in a row. Turn those odds the other way around and I could win the lottery

When I dropped Stick's Brother (10d6 damage, bow Forgiveness has 14d4) after 3 days of playing this game and Vampire Lord became a piece of cake for me, dead by 2 hits, I finally met The Revenant. His 350 health is not easy to beat, he has a lot of mana and I could died much earlier, but with potions was defeatable. The millions of other monsters in the world are waiting (in Mystery dungeon of unlimited levels?). My gear is Caster Bane (shield), Comic Relef (head), Holy Chains (torso), Life Wrenchers (hands), Aracidin (legs), Supreme Spelljumpers (feet), Prince's gem (necklace). In the end only artifact, which I miss, is a ring. Patricia lied and has no reward for me, but a rich hero can afford to hire her for just 2k gold. A Magical Backpack (30 slots) was more expensive. Tactical battles are no fun for me and a crafting is not needed at all. Some elixirs have still 0 % success chance (+ mana, + hit points). Wiki link does not work.

So I beat a mission full of ascended and it says I unlocked advanced recipes. Check my crafting, but nothing new was unlocked in any of the three crafting tabs. I don't understand what I supposedly unlocked, or if I even did unlock anything.

This is one of the worst games I've ever played. You actually do, every other turn. You are often outnumbered, even in the early going. There's no reasonable way to improve your character, you're always fighting uphill. The loot is non-existent. The strategy is next-to-non-existent. The graphics are horrible. The game itself is nonsensical, I don't even use my own character for the battles. And the logic is moronic - my arrow shooter can't aim at someone if they're too close. Absolutely horrific.

I missed my first 3 attacks in the game. Developers...ALL DEVELOPERS...the "miss" should be a VERY rarely used feature in a game.
Why are these games on Kongregate so awful? A wooden sword and a short sword do the same amount of damage - 1d6. What does that mean? I guess check the wiki. If I have to check the wiki before I start, you've designed very poorly.

It doesn't take 500 HP to beat the revenant; i was at 278 this last run. What matters is getting your mana lore up so your heals and life drain are more effective. Use a mage weapon or spam heal/ice barrier against low damage enemies. Using high loot chance, mana leach, and health leach gear while running the mystery dungeon for artifacts gets a decent supply of health/mana boosting potions; just remember to buy a pack of potions before going back in if you left because the enemies were getting too tough (floor 2 always has the type from deepest depth reached, at least if you didn't clear everything out; it goes back to normal at 3+).

How in the hell are you supposed to craft in this game? I loved crusade and I'm enjoying revenant, but with lots of people complaining that you can't buy crafting materials, I'm wondering how to even USE the ones I have!

It took me 4 hours, 13 minutes, and 6 seconds to get the easy and both medium badges. I don't think I want to stick around for the days worth of playing I suspect I will need to get the hard badge. Not that this game is hard, just grindy as all get-out. The worst is that the penalty for dying is to lose some health which is possibly the hardest thing to grind up in the entire game. I suspect that I need about 500 health to beat the final boss; I am currently at 144.

If anyone complains about skills going up too fast, Here's a counter-argument:the grind-fest that was getting skillful in crusade.

In 1 battle the enemy had 5 blocks, more than I've ever had in this entire game and I have 600~ block. Wtf is this bs.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
And the vampires, they're the worst, they hit like a mage, have the mp of a mage, the mage defense of a mage and protection of a warrior.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I can't block without a shield, but the enemy can, I have to use 15 mana for a spell, they get to use 10, I have "80%" hitchanace more like 15%. Seem's like bs.

I don't know if this is a glitch or not, but I noticed for the 25-floor Mystery Dungeon, you start (floor 2; technically, floor 1 is a "welcome" floor) with the same grade of enemies and treasures as the floor you last exited. It resets to normal only when you click "Activate" on the 2nd floor stairs. So, if you keep doing only the 2nd floor and click "Head Out" to exit, you can keep reentering and farming artifacts (1 chest per time, if it generates a red chest floor) and gold for high floors without having to go through the whole thing over and over. This makes farming the game's best equipment for your Barracks units (and of course, yourself) quite fast. It also helps raise battle stats faster from fighting high level enemies right away. If you clear the whole thing, you can basically get floor 25 treasures and fight only Titans. :D

Bjfdgh it's because you're going to harder areas where enemies are more likely to dodge unless you build up your stats.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
bjfdgh, if you are entering a dungeon that has stronger enemies, then the attack percents should be going down. If you are going to dungeons with easier enemies, then that's a bug.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
So... I've noticed my attack percents are going down every time I enter a new dungeon. Is this supposed to happen? If not, please fix. Thank you for your time.

Training tips:
In every dungeon that's not the Mystery Dungeon, you eventually reach a point where it's clear there's only one enemy left. Train your defenses by just using Defend and letting that last enemy pound on you until you can't afford to let them anymore, healing yourself as necessary.
Pick up and use every scroll you find. Scrolls are where Mysticism comes from.
@neoverse: I fail to see your problem. If you can make it through even one floor of demons, your trip expenses are covered, and demons are excellent training.

Think I found a bug. After completing a first campaign, when starting the next, the crafting and shop upgrade dungeons weren't available anymore. Really sucked that I had to go through an entire campaign with a shitty backpack.. Other than that awesome game ;)
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Mystery Dungeon now starts with demons every time. How am I suppose to get better gear? Can barely make it thru the first 2 levels now and have to leave or die on the 3rd level.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
i played evil route on the previous chapter and unlocked demon while i pick demon character without knowing it is locked character and only realize it after i read the description. Neat!

hmm I am curious why poison effect does mana DoT every turn to enemy, while mana burn does health DoT every turn to enemy lol. Good game, you keep improving with everyone you make. Now... to beat it 3 more times like other guy for all trophy xD
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I'm playing through every Arkandian game and I've challenged myself to get all of the trophies. I need to beat this game FOUR WHOLE TIMES! :(

I agree with everyone who says to bring back purchasable resources mid-late game, but I also think that you should fix the slight bug with women getting beards, as well as making it so we can change skin and hairstyles again, crusade was really cool about that.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Hmmm so lvl 25 in the mystery cave is the last lvl where you can do anything. Got to lvl 26 and the skin just flashes all the resources in the game over and over and I'm unable to move my character any
