This is without a doubt the worst game in the series and Terry Brown (undefined) should be ashamed of himself for a lot of the changes he did In Crusade (chapter 1) There's was no shortage of items to spend gold on. You could also buy skill level ups directly with gold which could be considered game breaking as it made it effortless to cap your skills so I can understand why the skillbooks were deleted. In Revenant (chapter 2) Everything except for the most basic items were removed which left nothing worth spending gold on except Sacks of Sending for Mystery Dungeon. So much money and nothing to do with it makes me question why this version even has a shop. As if that wasn't bad enough, due to no longer being able to buy resources and resource dungeons not being repeatable, you will quickly eventually run out of resources if not frugal. The only plus sides are that crafting levels and recipes are easier to obtain and defender quests are much better designed.

The only reason to play Revenant is to get the trophy benefits for the much superior chap 3.
*sigh* all my old game info was wiped out, so I'm gonna have play this disappointment a couple times in a row.

If you have complained about finding resources then you should probably go through all of the tactical missions and also enter the dungeon of mystery, because there is an abundance of resources while traveling lower

I love how for those of us who played Crusade, the dungeon of mystery is literally the least mysterious part of Revenant

I hate to be a buzzkill fellas, but if those of you complaining about the lack of crafting resources took the 45 seconds it takes to read the mission descriptions, the tactical missions pretty much are for gathering resources and the only cost is the 5 minutes it takes to do the mission. In other words, free resources.

Dungeon cleared. What the... theres still 6 warps crystals and like 10 holy water vials on the floor not to monetion a few piles of money! thats not cleared just open for the taking

So i missed 6 times in a row with %77 hit chance, which has a %4.62 chance of happening. For some reason (!) i think there is something wrong with RNG in this game.

Since the wiki for this game no longer seems to exist. I'm curious if anyone knows of (or made themselves) a list of all artifacts. I got all of the artifacts in Crusade and planned to do it for this game too, but I'm not sure how many/which artifacts there are. So far it seems like most artifacts are the ones from Crusade with a few new ones added (and I'd assume some omissions).

I came to this game hoping it would be as good as the first, but it's pretty much removed everything that made the first one great and then added some bugs and lag.

why can i not get the final crafting recipies on blacksmithing, and all of the other catagorises? i only get 28/30 potions, 28/30 tailoring, and 25/30 blacksmithing recepies, and ive beaten story and mystery dungon, which does ot go on forever, but ends at 25. it glitches on 26 for me. is hter a way to get all the recepies? and a way to buy crafting matrials?

In all earnest, I was having a think on the concept of wiki V library. My thought, odd as it may seem, have it develop as the player progresses, either as its base progresses (i.e. the bigger the house, the bigger the library) or, it develops as the player itself develops (the character puts in a journal/diary what things do, how certain status effects change the enemy, and what is good or not for any martial forces used, if any)

While the resource problem I mainly solve through the "infinite" (25 floors, the same as last chapter) dungeon, I do wonder how an archer 3 FEET IN FRONT OF ME can miss me WHEN I GLOW BLUE RED AND YELLOW! maybe he just turned his head so he doesn't hafta look at me, that his problem? sounds like a him-problem to me, couldn't be a dev problem, nope, never -Billy

It'd be nice if you could look at the recruits available for hire when you already have full barracks without having to fire one

You unlock the crusade spells in certain "dungeon" type quests. You unlock most of them on one and the last four on another one later on. This quests do NOT appear if you didn't get the achievement in Crusade.

This game rules just like the first one! I still don't like the Tactical/Defense Quests very much but that's just a minor complaint. Another great game!

I never knew how much time in battle was spent resting...during Stalingrad, both sides must have been napping for days at a time

To beat the revenant you have to first get your skills to as much as possible then get all the artifacts in the dungeons and THEN buy at least 5 of each mana and health potion and abuse it during battle until he runs out of mana...the rest is history

Lag makes this game unplayable. And having a good computer as I do, it is something that saddens me... such a great game, yet no one can really enjoy it. Even audio has latency due to lag!
