This random combat style pisses me the hell off. I shouldn't miss over and over with 95%. And the damned ascended are too OP. I literally used a full bag of the best potions on the archer.

This game seems to excel nowhere- the graphics are indisputably horrible, the battle system is unoriginal and unsatisfying and the dungeon exploration system is simplistic and dull. The items seem to have little variety- whatever I get, it always comes down to mauling at the enemy with my strongest weapon. There seems to be no difference between bows and staffs during dungeon based fights, and during tactical ones they don't seem to serve much of a purpose. The amount of resting you have to do in between swings during tactical fights is frankly ridiculous, as for every swing, which will very often miss and makes the battles long and extremely unsatisfying. I find that winning a battle is like winning bingo- it all plays out in front of you, you're ticking off your little marks and is completely divorced from any skill. The story is unoriginal and overused, and while has some attempts at humor these were all half-hearted and very few. Overall, I give this game a 2/5.

Attack- 80% chance... misses 6 times in a row... seriously this is why I hate that style of attack. PEOPLE MAKE SOMETHING AFFECTED BY SKILL FOR ONCE, INSTEAD OF JUST MAKING A RANDOMISED ATTACK SYSTEM.

Nice game with cool story elements and pseudo-random items, but I felt that the game was lacking, as it did not really lack much depth in a combat-intensive system. What I'm trying to say is, the game is obviously all about the combat, and which items you bring in should have some effect in the game, but it's really just walk walk stab until you die. There's no complex battles you can do, it's just 'should I use the heavy attack and risk it or be safe with the medium attack?' The game would have definitely benefited some sort of upgrade mechanic instead of your character just leveling on a whim to make it feel as if you were making progress, not the game making the progress for you. Still, nice story and combat framework.

Ill never understand how out of all the games on Kongregate the games by this dev continue to be so popular. The mechanicsa are weak the gameplay (what little there is) is boring and repetitive, and they all seem to be cookie cut versions of the previous game the guy makes. How is it fun to move a circle through a dungeon picking up crap until finding an enemy then having a battle where you get 1 hit to every 5 misses?! It's ridiculous especially when there are so many good rpg style games on Kongregate like Epic Battle Fantasy series or the Valthirian Arc series, but this game and the others of its series... pure tripe

It took me a while to get into this game especially seeing as the wiki isn't working for me?
The lack of resources is really hurting the "alchemy" aspect, especially seeing as it's a random chance of failure and success.
It'd be nice if the store would actually keep track of what you sold, maybe at least for the time you're there, because I've more than once sold something unintentionally due to the very, VERY annoying random inventory item changer.
Seriously, you sell something and all of a sudden everything else moves as well. Quite bothersome.
As well maybe an item comparison window to pop up when you examine one, so you know whether or not it's better than the one you have?

These numbers are a joke. I don't believe your % tables for a minute. 70% chance to hit and I miss 7 times in a row? OH YEAH that math seems about right! ahahahaha lmao! Such a bad game series. Badge of the day and never again.

If you're looking for stuff to spend gold on, you could always fully equip you're fighting force with the best items.

Inheriting a decent chest piece from the last game? Great!
Not being able to take off that chest piece, ever? Not as great.

honestly this game feels like a complete letdown after playing the third and seeing the achievments for the next game. I went back and played the first which was a good game but getting the achievements mean nothing. There horrible. what was the point in getting any of those trophys if it just gives me 3 pieces of bad gear. I am debating weather its even worth getting for explorer which is a far greater game. So is the first one honestly.

Considering the feedback, and the general amount of things lost here, I'm just planning to complete the game and get achieves for next game.

This game is awesome but I'm giving it only 4/5 because the hit percentages seem way lower than what is displayed sometimes and it really grinds my gears.

I love this game, but there is only one thing that REALLY grinds my gears... The hit percentages. There are so many times, especially when going against mages, that I will have a hit percent of like 70%, 80% or 90% and I swear i counted the actual hits and they added up to be about 10-25%
