Under rating threshold (show) How are we supposed to get new crafting supplies? Buying crafting materials and recipes were the only real things to spend money on late in the game in Crusade. Now, after buying the biggest bag, money is completely worthless. I would love this game SO much more if only crafting materials were available for sale at the leveled up shop.

Under rating threshold (show) Resources really should become buyable mid-/lategame. Early on gold can be scarce, but once you bought the best backpack (early midgame) gold is effectively worthless, since there is nothing useful to spend it on. At the very least have a repeatable resource mission and tell us which resources it gives.

Under rating threshold (show) Sadly, I have to repeat what many have complained about -- the combat is far more laggy than the graphics would suggest, even on fast PCs. The economy is a joke, as there is very little to spend money on. Crafting is like one step forward two steps back. On the one hand, the skills go up much quicker and you can get recipes in one package... BUT the scarcity of resources and especially the inability to buy more is absurd. It wouldn't be so bad if every resource was able to be found in the mystery dungeon but that is not the case... and in the meantime I have a massive amount of gold and almost nothing to spend it on. PLEASE take the comments to heart. This game is okay but could be great if you address the issues so many have brought up.

Under rating threshold (show) You know, if you're going to put in rewards for completing a previous installment's achievements, make the rewards actually worth something. Getting a 1000 combat skill in Crusade gives me +20 to my combat skills in this game, yeah that's helpful, it's not like I couldn't get that within the first minute of the game. Drink 100 potions in Crusade, get 3 minor potions here. That'll help me heal after 1 or 2 fights. The armor and weapons you get for the achievements in Crusade are laughably bad, why on earth would you give me a 1d12 sword and 1d10 bow and mage book when I can buy any of them at 2d6 at the start of the game? Also, where are my spells that I was supposed to start with? Those appear to have not been given to me. Please make the rewards for achievements worth getting.

Under rating threshold (show) The "special items" you get from all those achievements you worked your butt off for in the previous chapter, are practically worthless. If you're going to have "benefits" for people who poured hours into the last game, there should be more of a leg up. The ability to play as a new character is nice, but the other carry-overs need to be better.

Under rating threshold (show) More was removed than added. Cannot buy crafting materials. Major nerfs for the recipes that ARE creatable. (Cloth amulet is, for example, no longer worth it). Impossible to create other recipes, due to low base chance and finite materials (I have not seen a SINGLE vial in all my repeats of mystery dungeon, and I'm pretty sure you need that for every alchemy recipe) Weapons in general are nerfed. Impossible to max out character. This is honestly a step backward in game quality, rather than forward.

Under rating threshold (show) I seem to have the same reaction to all of the Arkandia games: This is a decent game, but could be a great one if only (1) it had a better inventory system, (2) it had better documentation on all of the various item abilities, and (3) combat wasn't so slow. It's frustrating seeing the same flaws every game.

Under rating threshold (show) On all the other games that I play on this site, a good trend that has been happening lately is the fact that the developers are responding to the comments that people leave about their game. The whole Arkandian series has been plagued with the same problems since the beginning, but I'm starting to feel a little uncomfortable that the developers here don't seem to respond to the biggest issues...

Under rating threshold (show) "Revenant takes everything that made Crusade great and expands it to a whole new level" Sorry, but no. In this game, you fight the same enemies, with the same weapons and abilities, in the same style of dungeons as the last one, and you didn't fix a single flaw. This doesn't feel like a sequel, it feels like a "player's pack".

Under rating threshold (show) This feels like an incomplete version of the first game. Crafting is dumbed down, the items you find are weaker, as are the enemies, the dungeons are more repetitive, and equipping my men doesn't really seem to make much a of a difference except for different abilities. Even after giving one of them items with stun, it never stuns the enemies it hits.

I'm looking into it now, in the meantime try knocking quality down via the right click menu to speed things up a little. To answer number 2. There's a few technical reasons, but let's just say that your hero much prefers to sit on a comfy chair giving orders.

Under rating threshold (show) what is the point of crafting if you can not get the ingredients anywhere? Finding these resources in useable quantities is more difficult than beating the game. There should be a badge called 'I found enough resources to get the skill up enough to make something useable", and it should be rated at the 'impossible' difficulty. I enjoyed the game, but not even close to the first one. The main difference? nothing to spend my money on.

Under rating threshold (show) I really liked playing this game, but there's few things I can't put up with. 1.Confusion with stats. By the end of the game i nearly maxed all out and figured some, but without explanation of what they do...they just seem pointless. 2.Magic. Being a mage you can easily defeat the last boss without stockpiling potions and stuff. And you can't miss with spells, which is kinda irritating when you encounter mage type enemies. Magic defence and resistance just don't seem to influence anything. 3.Crafting. There's no way you can get low tier materials later on. You can't buy or even convert materials. =(. 4.Endless dungeon - has 2 issues that ruin the challenge of the game for me, but Kongregate won't let me go in detail with comment limited by 1k symbols. In short - you can become rich and powerful just by re-entering the dungeon (you get progressively more gold and it's easier to find artifacts this way).

Under rating threshold (show) Bring back resource buying, crafting experminentation is part of the fun, and a cash sink is desperately needed late-game. Also, whatever happened to having/decorating 'My House'? >:( I liked my house. The combat isn't really any 'slower' than the first part was, I'd love to have an 'auto' button that will just do the attack of my choosing repeatedly until whatever it is is dead, sometimes this feels a bit' buttonmashy'. As in part 1, MP is for healing or lifedrain, and not much else; the other spells don't do enough to justify the expenditure of precious MP which is needed to extend your stay in the dungeon particularly mystery dungeon or when trying out content Higher Level Than You. Either reduce MP costs significantly on other spells or make them actually do something - casting lightning often does less damage than just attacking normally (as a mage, even, so have the Mana Lore) and even with a lot of +spell damage gear.

Under rating threshold (show) I loved the first Arkandian game and didnt mind playing through twice to get all the trophies. Also loved this one and despite not being able to buy crafting materials, found the increased crafting success chances a nice equalizer. However making us play through four times to get all the trophies is absolutely ridiculous. Each play though takes too long to expect us to make four runs.

Under rating threshold (show) I agree with everyone who says to bring back purchasable resources mid-late game, but I also think that you should fix the slight bug with women getting beards, as well as making it so we can change skin and hairstyles again, crusade was really cool about that.

Under rating threshold (show) Here's an idea for the next chapter: Pick like 6-8 of your stats/skills, and concentrate on making those work and balancing them. Then take the other 475 and lump them in or throw them the #%@! away. Spending 5 minutes looking at gear to figure out if its any sort of upgrade is not fun when you have 20 pieces of loot to sift through.
