save up for the legendary cards they are worth it one of them gives you +8 gold every second (compared to the gold mines 2 per second)

i really like this game. just a few things id like to say about it. some of these points have already been said but oh well.
Not Enough levels, just when your starting to get a killer deck you have beaten the game
to much focus on gold.
card sorting is to difficult and all cards of one type dont go near each other. makes it hard to see how many bandit scouts you have etc
card tearing its so slow, when you have to tear a bunch of cards, it gives you a bit of headache.
whenever you buy new cards or edit anything it takes you back to the main screen and you have to go back into it. would be nice to just return to the previous screen.
a PvP mode would also be really good. would make need for more levels far less important and would make the game far more interesting

10 clicks later, still reading the tutorial and not playing...
Other card games put you in the action right in the beginning and explain how to edit your deck and so on after your first (sometimes second or third) battle. You should do the same here.

Man, love this game! Such a unique style of play. Kongregate should have more games like this, not the wait to play, or pay junk that's everywhere these days.

First, focus has to be taken off gold, because frankly "He who controls the gold control Arakis." Second, a more in depth card sorting system would be nice. For example, if you have multiples of a card, instead of listing multiple cards, list one card with a number on it. Also, instead of sorting them by type, filter by type and then let us sort from there on. I sincerely hope you take my advice and improve the game, it has a lot of potential! :D

OK, now this may seem a silly question, but where do you get the computers no gold required cards? It would just permit me to field a force large enough to beat their completely uberised army. Any suggestions?

i agree with steedy1997, this game seems based with swarm tactics... just giant armies of complete noobs swarming an ai... i would just quit if it did that to me xD

This are the "I Win Button" Cards:
Kamikaze+Peasant+Portal Growth+Repairs+Gold Mine
Try them and discover the strategy

ANYONE WHOM HAS HAD A PROBLEM GETTING TO THE BUY CARDS AND DECK BASIS read this for i know how to fix it you go to the main menu and then back into ur game it should fix if not i got nothing for u friend + so others can see

Would be interested in working with you to improve-finish the game.
These are the things i´d help you with
Player vs player
with ranking system: top ranked players get prizes weekly (keeps them active), ranking resets monthly or weekly
Card interface
Stacking and sorting of cards, shred multiple, buy mulitple cards / packs. Unpack bought cards instantly.
Auctioning of cards,
- currency gold for every thing non-legendary and kreds for everything legendary (with a 1 kred cost to list, which is given to developper)
Resource fix
default cost of drawing cards should be lower, decreasing the need for a good starting hand.
In the end it doesn't matter, but it's the fresh players who decide to stick around or not.
Alternate ways of winning
I really like how some cards have an effect on the battlefield, damaging portals if X happens, but spells need to be a bit deeper. For example being able to persuade an enemy unit.

900+ gold exploit : At the tutorial,DONOT click the "Click the screen to continue" box, just summon your units, the enemy won't respond since the AI won't trigger until you get to a certain part of the tutorial, spam your units quickly to get a load of gold.

40 guys coming out of enemy portal. Put out soul syphon. "These guys are dead" i think. The beholder will come once i get 60 souls and i know how. FIRESTORM! Wait! No souls?

Actually had something funny happen in one of the very early matches. I got one of my skeleton mages to the end, in front of the enemy's portal, so turns out it decided to camp there and protect my zombies while they got through.

To all people recommending decks like 10 dwarven boons + whatever groups of cheap creatures, I have only this to say : if you have played this game enough to get 10 dwarven boons, then 1) you have absolutely no life and 2) by the time you have gotten the cards you should already know 10 different ways to beat every possible opponent and you shouldn't need these anyways. But if you love grinding, then have fun :)

Could you be more precise on the damage a unit inflicts to the enemy town portal? There is no stat specifying it on the card. Is it proportional to the base damage? Does it take attack speed into account?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
ultimate deck?: 7 Dwarven boon's (+150 gold each) and 5 mud golems (12 each x 5= 60 golems total after summoning). each golem dose 4 damage to the portal, so only 25 out of 60 need to make it, and wth the dwarvaen boon's, you can summon all 60 in the first 20 seconds of the game.
this deck will win all 18 battles, i know because thats how i did it.

Honestly, you have to surrender everytime you start a batte without 3 gold structures because it gets quite hard to beat the lvl without at least 9 gold income. Then again, the basic trick is to stack on gold and units as much as possible, making sure to repel enemy attacks everytime they come, but keep your gold going, EVERYTIME you get gold/sec structures, use them, DO NOT attempt to get stronger units unless you'll gamebreak with them, and there you have it, that's a solution for most of the levels.

Also, if there is time left on the clock and both players have used all there cards i shouldn't have to sit here for 4 minutes waiting for the win...

Could you not put in a bit of code so that when i use strips from ripping up reapers i don't get a reaper? I literally just traded in 5 reapers for 1 reaper...
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Dwarven Boon x 10
Reaper's Bounty x2
Barbarian x4
Thats the entire deck. Finish the battle in less than a minute and get over 2000 per.

This game is awesome! I have finally gotten the near perfect squad of three peasant cards, four dwarven gold, three reaper golds, two gold mines, four insta crystals, two insta souls, and the almighty Kamikaze! card. Screw you Beholder. I just need one or two more Dwarven golds to make perfect (high scores are now above 1950 in all levels). Then my next ultimate deck will enable me to instantaneously summon five itashi the protectors and five demon knights. YEESSSS!!!!

Explain this to me:
-Sacred pact, green card, cost 20 soul, give +2 gold/second
-Dark merchant, gray card, cost 15 soul, give +2 gold/second
...
WTF?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
anyt find where the numbers are explained: LARN TO RED! its all described in the beginning. chack the browser, click a card and mouseover -.-

The most I can get is 1998 from one fight. My deck does not use a single gold mine. Its reaper's bounty and dark merchants, dwarven boon, two seige engine, and four barbarians. Has anyone gotten more from a single battle? I am interested in other deck concepts. This could be a really fantastic game.

Does anyone else absolutely hate the last level of Elder Gornash? He has 20 of the goddamn legendary cards that just tear through all my cards!
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
OK, I've had enough. This game has such incredible potential. Unfortunately, it bugs up too much from too many different glitches. When the developer can fix the glitches, and announces they're fully fixed, I'll be back, but not until then.
