Imho the quickies way to finish it is a parting gift deck. All gold mine + 1 cristal cave + i aprting gift, 6 paesant. Yuo can substitute 1 paesant whit 2 demon worshiper. with only 20 card in your deck your starting hand should always be accaptable. Just build gold incame till you draw cristal mine, rack up 40 cristal for your parting, play it, and let your army of paesant being slaughtered.

Another Bug:
My extra Cards disappeared. I shrinked my Deck to about 25 and after the frist battle I just had the 3 cards left, that I just bought in the shop. The others were gone. Even the Browser just showed the 3 new ones. too bad, cause I kinda like it. And you MUST add diffrent save-slots because if you accidentally hit "new game" all your progress is lost.
But good game after all :)

I find this game has a LOT of potential but the way it is now it just seems unfinished and lackluster. Things it could improve: 1 - Better sorting on deck builder such has "9x Peasant" instead of 9 peasants showing in your deck builder; 2 - An album where you could see the cards that are missing for your collection; 3 - PvP battles; 4 - Better information display that could tell that a champion is a mage/bandit etc...; 5 - A reset button on deck builder PLEASE; 6 - Information about how much damage a unit deals to a portal; 7 - Knowledge about the odds of getting rare and legendary cards per pack; 8 - Ingame, when you hover over a card you can see the abilities description the same way you can see in the Browser section.
And the list could go on and on... But as it is: 3/5

game is way unbalanced towards gold. If you make a deck with nothing but mines and gold/soul only creatures you can beat lvl three no problem.

@Vlemich The Parting Gift is used for mass swarming the enemy with your lite troops, even if they dont make it to the end the opponent still takes damage.

Good game, could be great with some adjustments. It gets really annoying that it lags SO hard when 5 or more critters are slugging it out :(. Please try to fix that.

Great game, however it does have some glitches and balancing issues but its really good and I look forward to a multiplayer version.

Well, finished the game a few times over now. I'm running 30 gold and crystal boosts (also, Sacred Pact is crystal harvest not gold), 10 Fresh Skeletons, and just surrender until I get a decent draw of crystals, gold, and skeletons. You never need anything else and the AI is too stupid not to counter your slow skeleton spawn with a rush. It's entertaining to have the AI kill itself, but this is clearly unbalanced.

I use parting gift in a different way. I don't have Kamikaze though. In my deck, I make use of 2 repairs and 5 portal expantions. I also have 2 demon knights and other demon cards, which are very soul intensive. To get souls, things must die, so why not use parting gift, send out weak units to be slaughtered (Harvesting souls and dealing damage to the enemy) And when the time is right, switch parting gift for soul siphon, play all the power cards, and one last repair. Even if you run out of time, your guaranteed 1800 gold as long as your portal is at full health.

I think that having a timer on the battles is really annoying, i cant stand it, i always do bad early game but then i get some gold and the time runs out and i lose, its rather annoying.

There seem to be a couple of game-breaking units--I played a bunch of games with round-3 Gornash in a row where he would just constantly churn out Beholders. I get a surge going, clear a path to his gate, send out an army of peons, then boom--he simultaneously spawns two beholders, every single one of my attacking units dies, and I literally don't have enough left in my deck to win the game. I end up left sitting there for 3 minutes with an empty deck and no units left. I eventually give up, come back later with a couple epic heroes to keep pocketed just in case (since they're impossible to kill with anything else), and what happens? The dumb thing doesn't spawn a single bloody one.

Kamikaze deck is imba, I got a win in 2 minutes with only gold mines, a crystal mine and 2 dwarf mines, 2x kamikaze, 2x fresh skeletons and cards that instantly add to my souls, gems and iron, and a triple decker to draw faster. Best yield so far is around 1800....and yeah I think the 10 dmg is a bug, as well as the card "Sacred Pact", because it increases gem production, not gold, as it says.

ooh and btw this is a really good game, very origional... and was really fun to play.
I found a really really really really good strategy to win each game really well and so i won it in like just over 30 mins. If you want to know what this really good srategy is plz + it and if it gets to the highest rated i will tell you...

It'd be very nice if you could speed the game up - when there's a lot of units on the screen, the framerate slows down to a crawl.

I found a weird bug. I summoned the red moon card that makes skeletons appear when someone dies, but it just summoned huge streams of skeletons from each portal. My system shut it down after the streams touched (and about 1100 kills).

Actually, if you use Fresh Skeletons, use 2x Dwarven Boon, Reaper's Bounty, and Bag of Crystals instead of mines, you can beat lvl. 3 enemies in under 30 seconds with Kamekazi.

It could be such a brilliant game but a few things completely ruin it. The fact that the AI doesn't follow the rules takes out a good chunk of potential strategy, golds vital importance removes a lot of what's left.

Kamikaze says it does 2 damage per unit but actually does 10. So far my easiest wins are off peasant spamming into my enemy's rush. 10 peasants and they lose, usually without doing any damage to me. Just finished one with full health and over 8 minutes remaining in the match. Is the 10 damage intended because it seems excessive.

One hand deck: Kamikaze, Peasant, Coin Purse, 2x Gold Mine, 3x Bag of Crystals.
How to win: Use every card except Kamikaze. Send out the first 10 Peasants in about 3 second intervals. Wait about 4 seconds, making sure you have at least 120 gold. Start sending out the rest of the peasants in about 2 second intervals. As soon as you hit 10 souls, cast Kamikaze, while sending out the rest of your peasants. When done perfectly you can get over 2000 gold per fight. If more than 10 Peasants die before you get Kamikaze out, you lose.

Hotkey 1-5, remove this "counter push" crap...
and the biggest change, DON'T DELETE MY SAVE IF I ACCIDENTALLY CLICK NEW GAME.
You put them right next to each other, and then don't have a deletion confirmation? I was excited to play a couple rounds, then boom, deleted my file on accident.

I've found some, what would be seen as, unlikely success using peasants to do my bidding. There really isn't anything better than watching an angry mob of 30+ of them going at it.

Vlemich , you say that parting gift works in reverse. everytime u kill a enemy you lose health at your portal? read the description. its a global enhancementevery time your dudes get killed the enemy loses hp . evertime they get killed you lose hp ... thats why its called PARTING GIFT

guys , maybe this is a little bit helpfull for your problems with the scrolling: i have encountered much games like this. if you scroll somtimes the keys stick. if the screen is going to YOUR portal simply press A and you can move again . if it is going to the ENEMY'S portal simply press D and you can move again. no problem

Parting Gift and Kamikaze (the same effect but x2) entirely correctly. It is meant to be that way. Please read the description of the card more carefully, "Any unit killed deals 1 damage to ITS enemy's portal."
Thus, when your units die, they do damage to your enemy, and when you enemies units die, they do damage to their enemies (i.e., you)
That's why the other card is titled Kamikaze, because you can send weak units like peasants to kill their portal indirectly.

Clearly the best strategy is to beef up your resources, then send as many guys as possible at one time, and if you have a card that makes one new warrior spawn every time someone dies, the game starts to run slowly because there are about 200 guys on the map... Good concept, but definitely some improvements to be made.

Alright I am going to go ahead and beg you for multiple save slots. I accidentally clicked Start New Game (gaming under the influence) and lost my game. I love your game, especially the wide variety of cards! Furthermore, buying boosters with exp is a recipe for a very addictive game. In conclusion, despite the fact i just lost a few hours worth of progress i intend to start over and that is a sign of a truly remarkable flash game.

Let me just say that the "Parting Gift" card is working in reverse... Each time I kill one of my opponents units I AM THE ONE WHO LOSES A LIFE POINT.... wtf?

I have been having problem scrolling around the battlefield has the screen keeps returning to my portal or to the enemy portal at random ... otherwise nice game !
