Under rating threshold (show) I didnt know the food had permanent effects, I thought maybe they healed. You should put the +1 max hp etc labels on the food everywhere in your inventory and not just in the use consumables menu. I had been selling them whole game.

Under rating threshold (show) Regarding end of map loot- The values listed aren't based on the number listed at any given enemy. Rather, those listed values are a combination of their initial chance to drop their own item on defeat and the treasure tiles you collect. The end-of-adventure rewards are based ONLY on the treasure tiles you collect- ACROSS ALL FIGHTS. There is no stat listed that displays this, you simply need to remember it. Example- I fight my way to the end of a four map adventure. The treasure value listed is 50, but I collected 25 treasures in each fight, for a total of 100 treasures. This will result in collection of all four listed end-of-adventure treasures, but the endboss only has a 50% chance to drop an addition treasure of his own. You can tell when you get these additional treasures by the animation of the words "LOOT GAINED!" that come up across the battlefield after defeating an enemy.

Under rating threshold (show) Game is EASY MODE once you get to about the 20th dungeon (and have the following spells) Midas touch (coins = gone) Firestorm (fire = gone) Planned Assault (rage = gone) Healing flame (ice = gone) Sneak attack (attacks dont take a turn) Your last spell can be anything you like. just match until you have mana to cast all of them and you can clean out the entire board VERY quickly (and thus have practically unlimited turns (by matching 4 of a kinds only) and mana By eliminating 4 types of gems with 4 spells, all the board will then be filled with poison, energy, or treasure boxes since there are only 7 types of elements that can show up on the board... removing 4/7 leaves you with 3... and when theres only 3 different things on the board, EVERYTHING cascades like mad allowing easy 4 ofs and 5 ofs. Vote up so everyone can see!

Under rating threshold (show) This game does start a bit slow in my opinion. For anyone just starting out, the important number of upgrades for the "essence of (element)" are 2, 5, 9, 12, and 15. At those benchmarks, instead of getting 3 mana for matching 3, you will instead get 4, 5, 6, 7, and 8 respectively. This also applies to rage, gold, and treasure boxes.

Under rating threshold (show) For people who need help on the last level, which has three monsters that each hit for around 22 damage per hit and have 1500 hp each, I used a nymph's spellbook with the stone of destruction and various regen items, so each hit would do around 105 damage and I would regen 7 per turn. I used warlord, planned assault, wealth, and sneak attack for my spells. I would ignore all rage gem matches and instead use planned assault to destroy them, and then attack. Then I would use warlord, and by then there would be enough rage gems back on the board to use planned assault again. Excess green mana gets sunk into sneak attack since it doesn't use a turn, excess blue mana gets sunk into wealth to quickly clear the board of coins, and red and purple mana get used by planned assault. With the strategy you take around 120 damage per monster to deal 1500 points of damage, so make sure you have at least 350 hp.

Under rating threshold (show) Some things I found: -All the storm spells also do damage, but it doesn't say so in the description. The last 3 levels don't reward items after you get the named rewards, they do however reward the cheap coal things. -The longsword doesn't sell, ever. -Heal affinity adds to all heals, the description states it only adds to 4 and 5 match heals. Some suggestions: -enemies remaining, or something to show how many foes you still have to fight after the one you are fighting would be nice. -Continue making great games! I enjoyed it, so thanks for the game!

Under rating threshold (show) Best way to win, get the 4 storms and warlord. Wealth also helps a lot in early stages when you dont have all 4 storms. Then get a very very high damage per rage useage weapon (mine was 40 for 15 rage). Stack +damage on your gear as much as you can and still survive and after initially matching a few, you dont have to match at all. Whichever mana you're short, you just hit that storm and it'll usually fill it at the cost of the other mana. 4 storms used one after the other will fill all mana and will allow for 2 or more warlords.

Under rating threshold (show) After going against what everyone in the comments said, i decided to play this anyway, to get the badge of the day. However after playing for a little while I'm actually starting to enjoy this game. It's an interesting concept however it not everyone's style of game. So before anyone passes this up based on reviews you should give it a few minutes of your time.

Under rating threshold (show) a really really easy way to win late game is to have all the "storm" spells equipped, along with wealth and planned assault. Then once you have enough at the beginning for your first spell you use it, and just keep using storms of whatever there's most of on the board. THEY DO DAMAGE and they keep your mana full, and they recycle the board so quickly that you can keep getting those rage gems with planned assault. I was doing 112 with each rage attack(nymphs spellbook) and 30-50 with each storm.

Under rating threshold (show) Difficulty jump from rivers end to unholy temple is just ridiculous. Needs to be redone. Also, there is a problem with the health from gem combinations where if you make to combinations at once, you only seem to get the health bonus from one of the combinations. I also personally think that the health bonuses should be larger. Possibly based off of max health. Fun game except for the ridiculous difficulty jump.
