Under rating threshold (show) quick guide- max xp perk first, pick Xenon not Kunri II, choose only one weapon to upgrade per ship, if you use a lot of wasp rail barrage, get one command ship and upgrade issue orders. you dont need a ton of ships so ignore most new ships. 6 ships is enough but more or less will also work. Have fun :). There are a lot of very cool strategies you can use to win this game.

Under rating threshold (show) This game is less than average. The skills are poorly detailed when you learn them; the layout is silly; the game scales WAY too abruptly. Did you guys not test the game before you released it?

Under rating threshold (show) what good does it due to get a lvl1 aps ship way later in the game. with no real way to level it it makes this game a giant buzzkill. You must make a second engage with a way to gain more xp for lower guys!!!

Under rating threshold (show) Great game, I had a lot of fun but it's kind of frustrating that I'm stuck on the last two mission without any other levels to play. My fleet isn't capable of beating these missions and I'd have to start all over with a different tactic. overall very entertaining but give the game some re-playable or trainer missions as other have already said.

Under rating threshold (show) quick guide to avoid restart- Always max xp perks first. Always buy and always use max xp equipment. Pick Xenon instead of Kunri II and buy and upgrade the rail barrage of the ship with the kong sticker on it. Wasps are excellent in the early and mid game, but get no more than three of them because they cant kill late game high armor effectively. I went for a final team of 8 ships but more or less ships probably also works. The rest is up to you :). If you follow these tips you should be able to defeat all enemies without restarting.

Under rating threshold (show) the fact, that you can send in a varying number of ships in each battle, gives the game a interesting strategic twist. please, everybody that found it too hard, give it an other try, it is worth it! here are some tips: +only buy new ships if you feel you will soon need them. +you will encounter many battles where you can send in only 4,3,2 ships. that means you will need a mixed fleet of 4-6 higher level champions and some mid level support. +that also makes levelling of new ships easy. if your core team is strong enough, you will find 1 or 2 empty slots to send in newbies, nearly in every battle. (give them some learning enhancement.) + damage dealers should concentrate on one weapon each. don`t worry to much about damage types. + simple weapons for the start. more powerfull (and energy consuming) ones for the second generation.

Under rating threshold (show) There appears to be a bug when leveling up. I'm not sure what causes it, perhaps it is if you get 3 levels in a single battle, but whatever the cause one of my ships is missing a few perks for its level. If you fix this bug can you please find some way of fixing this on the bugged ships like with respeccing or something.

Under rating threshold (show) @Enderjmu Yeah, the flux ammo seems to be bugged. It doesn't work with the machine gun attack either. Personally, I think the bonuses should work for each of those attacks since high armor values make multiple attacks almost worthless in later levels.

Under rating threshold (show) I'd give it a 5/5 but the fact that you can't play around with ships, and the fact that no information what so ever is provided about a ships ability’s/attack templates means you screw yourself over by just trying something new. I don't want to have to restart a casual flash game just so I can get the right combo to beat the damn game. So 2/5 because you don’t realize that flash games are for casually blowing off some steam not hard core gaming.

Under rating threshold (show) I'm a big fan of undefined's games, but this one seems a bit of a let-down. I love the idea and the different ships I've encountered, but it's a bit obnoxious to actually play. First of all, it's difficult to see all the information during battle or on certain status screens. I wish we knew what abilities a ship could get before we purchased it (i.e. some bombers learn BFB where some learn EMP Torpedo instead). Also, as everyone else has said, it would be better if we could train somewhere, or in the style of the early protector games, have a way to redistribute skill points. I love getting all the new abilities and trying them out, but it's led me to getting stuck and having to start over 2 or 3 times, and I haven't gotten past my 3rd system yet, which means there are plenty of ships I haven't even seen! However, I think the gameplay and game mechanics have a lot of potential, and I am looking forward to an amazing sequel.

Under rating threshold (show) i enjoy this game, but there are some things that need work. for new players get Rail Barrage and lvl it up to infinity. and corrosive torps are nice too. energy siphon can become quite deadly if lvled high. with the tech 20 dmg boost*2 and the skill 50 bonus dmg and the largest area of effect. and energy leech. killing be easy

Under rating threshold (show) A lot of negative comments, i really don't get it. Theres plenty of xp and money to go around in this game you just need to give each ship a specific job and stick to it the whole game. Buying protective items is a must, because each mission is like a puzzle. Some of them seem very difficult until you see they all use the same energy type. (i.e. a whole team of plasma splash damage, and youre only allowed 1 unit. Put 2 plasma defs on him and youre good to go.) Just always do your best to add new unit types in and even though its a struggle, keep adding them to teams so they can get xp.

Otherwise decent game except for the difficulty curve and forcing people into the inability to correct their decisions.

Under rating threshold (show) Great game but it needs some serious balance improvements : - The inability to replay level makes it really difficult to raise level up of newly bought shisp. This also means that if you're stuck because you made the "wrong" choices (for an example, if you developped some crap skills), it is impossible correct you're strategy (reset is the only way). - Some weapons are totally useless due to the protection system : all weapons doing X shots, each shots doing Y damages (machin guns for example). ex : 10x6 damages (60 potential damage) could be great, but with an enemy having 5 as protection value, the "super paper bullet gun" does 10x(6-5) = 10 damages... Combat drill or damage boost item does seems to work for theses (rail barrage 3*6 damage + 2 battle computer (+3 dmg) + lvl 3 combat drill against protection of 9 : result : 3*0)

Under rating threshold (show) I like this game quite a lot. A few things would increase my enjoyment of the game. 1. Allow naming of your ships (or choosing colors for each hull to help keep track of the role of each unit) 2. Some choice on you initial units 3. A better explanation of what the stats mean and how they work. 4. A slightly bigger grid with room for bigger ships. Thanks for making such a great game:)

Under rating threshold (show) overall great game but! few tips for a sequel: 1) keep at least 1 mission per sector for lvling new ships 2) change how level cap works for example lvl cap 60 means maximum lvl any ship can acheive in that sector and remaining exp redistribute to lower lvl ships(it would inspire us to buy and lvl up new ships because theres no real reason for it now) 3) some story line would be great (like in protector :D) even though I feel like theres still a lot of work on this game I have to give you 5/5 ;)

Under rating threshold (show) @ ciopo: optional slots have 2 choices. It does NOT depend on a specific ship, only on the shiptype. For example, every standart bomber can choose between BFB (standart option) or EMP Torpedo (which seems to be rare) for it's 4th slot. If on any level up you're not offered the skill you want, keep the slot open and level again, eventually you'll get the skill you're looking for.

Under rating threshold (show) please please when buying a ship make a tooltip somewhere that shows what other 2 abilities that ship can learn, it's so annoying buying another command ship for the purpose of training up the AOE defense up, only to find out that, after the pain it is leveling up new ships on new systems, it's fourth ability was not that but an useless self-only buff :(

Under rating threshold (show) Just finished the game with not a single loose. Which team ? APS Destructo, of course, and... Only 6 standard yellow beginning ships. Just level up the area railgun, until you can get the "energize ray" ability. Then take it. At level 50, you'll get 8*15 damage for main weapon (in area), and +24 damage (for 12 turns ! Stacks with itself !) for the energize ray. First turn : all ship energize the guns (only useful when you have this ability at more than +6/+7), the destructo kill the artillery (only dangerous thing for your ships). Second turn : you deal 8*40 damage with each ship, in area... If something very resilient (level 40 station), a second turn of energize will do the job.

The Wasp's Rail Barrage has 2 advantages. 1) it can be fired more than once before needing to recharge, my lvl 42 wasp atm can fire 3. 2) energize beams ability means that the APS Destructor can fire once at a powerful level but my wasp does 3(8x29) = 626 damage in the time the destructor does one shot. (8x17 with +12 energize for all 3 shots)
