Lovely game, despite having a few bugs, it may well be more fun than the actual Protector series in my opinion! Challenging enough too. And no, it's not at all impossible - change skills and spells or try another map first to get new items. Bit of luck in getting good items does tend to matter a lot in many builds, I find that a bit of a shame. Also, I'd love a few longer maps. As for the strongest units: a few mages with the Ice Shard, Archmage Robes and the +10% splash/slow/degrade item (or something similar) would probably be invincible: 105% slow, area of effect, so enemies won't get past it (in fact, they'll be walking backwards). Then again, it takes a while before you can even set one of those combo's up.

I really like deep, long games, and this game is not bad, but I had a hard time giving this a 5. Balance doesn't seem quite right. Strategy doesn't quite have enough intuitive aspects. The feel of control, customization, and tactical involvement isn't quite there. So 4/5

It's a pretty easy game once you get to a certain point where Archer + Damage upgrade + Less cost = Game ender every time.
Knights can do good on some maps with hammer, like the Zombie map but for the rest, Archers take the price.

this game blows. 1/5. horrible game, horrible series. try making the next one easier so it will be beatable and fun. THERE IS A REASON CURSED TREASURE IS THE NUMBER ONE GAME. because it's not ridiculously difficult like this one. This reminds me, ... i should just play that one over again if i want a t.d. game. SCREW THIS ONE!

For people who hasn't noticed. Archer are the best unit to bet on. Put on their Archer class skill to get them a better weapon. Then take the damage upgrade. After that you can take the one that lower the payment for units.

Hey did anyone else know if you like destroy a tree or a crystal or a rock you get like thirty of each material thing?

Lol... Don't know if this has happened to anyone yet but I killed a boss and it dropped "undefined" and I sold it for NaN on everything and I could build anything :D

Its annoying trying to figure out characters range after they are deployed. There needs to be some feature that lets you view exactly where each creature can besides having to count spaces. xD

It's bad enough that someone made another TD game. This one involves so much painful micromanagement, it defeats the whole purpose of a TD as a form of strategy game. 1/5 stars.

Yes, overall the best unit is archers...........however mages are important when there are a lot of waves immune to physical and fire.............the warriors are amazing once the Warmahher is unlocked, and any time they can be places where they will hit most enemies twice with the mace. also great for high armor units because of their high damage....................this game requires different thinknig than the original protector games to succeed. the mana skill is very important, so is the reduced unit cost. This game seems to be a direct response to cursed treasure. Lets hope the people who made that game take up the challenge and make an even more intricate TD game and so on.............

Ok here is a full list of bugs/glitches i found so far:
Steal skill doesn't work. You dont get money when you see that coin. Even if you inflict 30 damage+ on a boss you get nothing.
An archer equipped with the wizards bow actually targets unit before harvesting, while other units ignore units while harvesting (and no those units were not on "no harvesting mode")
Map glitches:
Scarce bunnyman burrows is listed as scarcity but is scarcity AND sudden death
Elemental planes of scarcity is listed as roadrunner but is a drainage map

@ledzeppe no this game is far away from being impossible. I would rate the difficulty at "medium" at best. You need to learn which kind of units help you the best in the maze, 90% of the time the archers will do the trick. Also, dont forgett to update the weapons armors and extra slots of your unit to improve their abilitys. Soul steal and Life Leech are some important skills. In the beginning, its also important to grab a single unit into a resource rich area and let it slowly harvest it off. Harvesting equipment helps very much with it.

It would be nice if there was an "are you sure you want to quit?" because I pressed it when I meant to press audio options.

@ quasperater
That was a typing mistake. It the steal skill i am talking about. It was late when i typed that. And i tested it again on an other element planes lvl. I hit the boss, saw the coin for sucessfull steal (and yes that unit did inflict damage) but my money didn't change.

This game is amazing, even though it's really unbalanced and I can't pass a few levels, I'm still addicted and try every time. I really hate that the game is hard, because at some points, I don't have good enough equipment to beat the level. I'll sure be waiting for Little Protectors 2 and I'll hope that it will be more balanced.

i personally like this better than protector 3 and 4. Only because the gameplay is simple, the point system works well, and theres not a bazillion instructions. i probably only like that because i have the attention span and learning ability of a four year though. 4/5

I'm getting a bug where the tooltip displayed when I hover over an item does not disappear when I scroll my mouse away from the item. Please post a fix because it can get really annoying and hard to see the field

also, mix some warriors (now and then) with the second weapon (to smuch), it's cheap and will really help the archers as you reach the final waves. Remember to mix up wizards with slow/smuch before your archers are and before your super armored warrios (2 or 3 is enough). =)

Try to focus on your archers. Get a couple on the back so they can farm while the opponents reach their shot range, upgrade to the bow that gives +1 life leech or critter critter (most important bows in the game). If you don't have any of those, then try to use the best bow you can. Points for the skill on the mana (start round with many double gold or double soul) and use the warriors for heavy damage on the back. REmember to use amulets of damage, slash, slow and smuch (wizards for smuch/slow are very good and cheap).
