Just beat the last map. I never used the bottom skill row at all. Maxing mana and then doing a triple-double gold boost for round 1 was helpful a lot of the time. Also, leeching extra lives is verrrrry good on sudden death maps!

So I'm currently facing the following map ratings: Tough, Quite Tough, Fairly Tough, Pretty Tough, Getting Tougher Still, Harder, A Bit Harder, Difficult, Very Difficult, and Annoying. Those are good descriptions -- of what it's like to decide which map to play next. >.<

finished all the maps and got a top 50 high score so i guess im done with this game. I got the high score doing field of drained dreams using only scoremaster archers. I think the earely waves could have possibly been a bit better but still, no drians and everything past about wave 10 killed by a scoremaster wielding bowman. Hard for me to see how it could be much higher. If anyone finds a better way let me know!

Yeah once you get wizardbow its really ridiculous.i dont do the 8x gold thing although its clever for sure, but once you have like 6 or 8 wizard bow guys you end maps with undreds of lives...

It is quite possible to achieve 110% slow, perhaps even higher, on a wizard. When hit by an attack from such a unit, creeps actually move backwards. Bosses in particular are rendered completely harmless. (Of course, by the time you are able to do this, you have several other ways to effectively deal with bosses.) However, >100% slow doesn't particularly seem to work with splash.

Should be an option where you can buy mana with gold. Or have some use for all the extra gold. In later levels I have a lot more gold than I know what to do with...

Wow, the life leech ability, especially with the Wizard's Bow turned the sudden death matches into regular matches. I find myself with over 200 lives every time...

I usually like all their games but the two without badges seem to have a problem with balance. Things seem to get through very fast in both of them.

@nobslayer
You need to craft the items for the unit in their personal menu, underneath the weapons/armor/accessory slot.

Do I have to craft weapons per individual unit in the game, or can I group dress them under Known blueprints? I would LOVE to know this

Tips: 1. Some spells stack. This is a Robbery & Champions stack and can make you very powerful in a short time. 2. Mana% is amazing, if you have enough wizards with mana recovery, you can cast lots of spells per round. 3. Units and skills change over time so don't rely on the same stuff, learn to adapt. 4. Some skills are useless, the whole last row and the last column are mostly useless. Also any skill which improves starting gear, you will exchange that gear quickly. 5. The best skills are Damage, Recruiter, Mana Recover, Soul Stealer and on scarce maps Master Crafter.

Why does the developer say this is far more simple than the others Protector. This game's graphics are simple but the gameplay is far more in depth and challenging than MOST defense games. The skill tree and being able to reorganize it at will alongside resource harvesting are awesome additions to defense games.
