They were not saying that it should be easy, but the difficulty curve is too steep for the majority of people who try to play this game to get past the first few levels. I only got to 5 because i put all of my points into 1 unit type (archer), and as soon as i hit level 6, i meet a mob type that is completely immune to archers, and i lose immediately.
It shouldn't be easy, but this is way too difficult.
also, the known blueprints are a good idea, but they should either be allowed to be used in some way or not even bother having stats at all and still be usable, otherwise there does not seem to be any point to them to begin with.

To have previously done maps giving you exp would totally ruin the game, in that way to complete the game you would just need to play enough. A game has to be at least a bit challenging!

Just finished every level and was pretty bummed to have no finishing screen. Also, I have all of the blueprints, but don't have the achievement for having all of the armor. Pretty good game, but all you really need is the archers.

LOL... I had a magician with almost 100% slow... (and a couple others with more than 30% slow each) and the final mob was walking backwards haha

Hate the reeource harvesting... Troops should harvest automatically when idle. Also NOT "streamlining and simplifying Protector gameplay" - more like making it more complex.

A little hard, but once you figure out how to beat some earlier levels you should be good. It gets alot easier once you have the skill points and higher end weapons.

I love the Protector series, and this one isn't different, but i think that it may be a little too hard.. there has to be a way to get better by either repeating levels or by achievements.. 4/5

why would you re-do a level if there are many similar versions of it? if you dont get how to harvest and fight at the same time, just put all your people at the back, and harvest until the enemies reach you. there are many strategies, but this is just a simple example. btw this game is good 5/5

Light-heated? Yes. Simple? No!
This is a fantastic game for people with a lot of tower defence gaming experience, seeking a real challenge. The removal of the character building element, replaced with level by level skill customization, makes for a really interesting game, as does resource production.
A unique game which bring out elements I havn't seen in tower defence ever. 10/10

Archers are the best unit by far. Between their range, pierce and attack speed there is little reason to invest in warriors or magi. The balance is even more skewed once you gain access to things like the field bow and the 6 range 50 pierce bow. Archers also make the best harvesters since they can usually still cover a road and harvest with their range.

The spell 'This is a robbery' is really good if cast lots of times for the same wave, if you cast it three times before the first wave you'll get 8 gold per enemy in that wave instead of 1, definitely beats putting points into 'Gold Juggling'

For all complaining game is too hard, I got stuck too until I saw that there was a level where all enemies were weak against fire. After noticing it I beat the level on the first try.
Harvesting is part of the game, you can't beat harder levels without mastering it.
Also, armor has an important role. Armored monsters make lots of turrets useless, but are easy if you have a few powerful turrets.

two suggestions:
1/ needs another speed setting (play, fast, and EVEN FASTER) 'cos the game can be too slow.
2/ it should record your completion of a level and allow you to replay your actions on the drainage, roadrunner and sudden death versions of a level. e.g., if i beat the normal level without loosing a life then the sudden death version should be completable the same way; likewize, if i totally own a level then the same placement/build-order should probably beat roadrunner.

The concept of the game is there... but the above statements hold true. you get stuck after 5-6 levels and you can't go any further. You need to change some basic around, like gaining more resource, replaying levels to gain items and having an easier setting for those basic players. I would suggest having a place to buy items, achievements that give you something, and giving the characters attributes to raise (experience or leveling..) its gets to be impossible to beat a level because you run out of necessary items(even with resources at 10). Good game...but needs improving before I will touch it again.

i think, the system with the weaknesses isn't made very well... all my mages did 1 or 2 damage to a creature, that had energy as weakness and i equipped to all of them an energy spell

Great game! Fresh and interesting. I like the difficulty - it adds challenge, and you have to strategize carefully....

If this is supposed to be an easier version tower defense then why is it so difficult, and why can't I figure out how to upgrade. You've gone and taken a potentially great tower defense game and utterly ruined it by making it impossibly difficult. How about a difficulty setting for those of us who actually enjoy fun, beatable tower defense games?

It is a decent game. It think the biggest problem for Undefined is that we are used to the Isometric view in the Protector games. It is what he/she/it/they perfected...

please add a conformation box when you hit the quit button. Its no fun to loose on the second to last lvl because you hit the hit butto instead of the speedup because your mouse decides to jump a cm exactly at that moment.

Wizard bow breaks the game. Beat some of the harder levels using only archers and wizard bows and spamming splash. Had to stop with this strategy as it was getting dull. luckily it doesnt work on all levels.
