I should be able to tell my individual Protectors to harvest, not have 1 terrain tile being targeted by all protectors in range. Its really annoying when I have certain protectors that I want to defend and they happen to be near a tile I'm harvesting.

Couple of minor complaints - sometimes, the "speech bubble" for a loot item won't disappear, or gets confused when I've clearly assigned an item to a different unit. Also, I know this hasn't been an option in previous Protector games, but a "sell" option for harvesters would be awesome. Once a warrior harvester has harvested the few tiles in his immediate vicinity, he's useless.
Other than that, though, this is a fantastic game, and I hope to see some badges up for it soon.

Great game! When you pause the game and set to harvest resources your units will atempt to attack. When you change the recource still on pause they will shoot at completly different target even one that's not in their range. Skill points to reduced recruting, mana pool and wizz of legnds. Hit doubled money spell 3 times on start. Main tactic is to put mana gaining wizzards on the beginning and some life leechers too. Then cast soul steal and champions spell all the time.

This game is not rated as highly as the other protector games. My guess is that this is because it's hard to get into. The early levels are extremely difficult, while the later levels, when you have many more weapon/armor options, are easier. The game doesn't really become fun until you've gotten to the mainland, which can take a few hours of play.

For "spishity splashity," ignore the advice of focusing on splash damage. The fire wizards just do too little damage. Instead, put your skill points into reduced unit cost, and get as many archers and warriors as possible, positioned so they cover as much of the path as possible. If you're lucky enough to get a splash item, give it to a warrior with that smunching mace. Focus on harvesting when possible, and then stick mages (with smunch mainly) in the centers of the squares. Actually, the tons of archers/warriors strategy works for most levels. I rarely bother with wizards anymore.

"Splishity Splashity" virtually requires that you have unlocked the Wild Warhammer warrior weapon. You may have to complete some of the other maps first.

I really enjoy having to replay maps. There is a sense of accomplishment when you figure out the secret to success on any given map. I am a huge TD fan but many are too hard because of financial/scaling/design reasons and not because the game is a challenge.

I'm stuck on "Splishity Splashity." I've tried everything I can think of. I have 3 skill points and have assigned them in various ways. No matter what I do, the wave with a billion green baddies all clumped together defeats me.

Love this game and all the protectors ! I disagree with people who wants to make easier this game, sure you must replay few maps to achieve them but that is totaly possible to finish the game with the skill reseter ! For me it's really a good thing having difficulty to win the maps from start of the game to the end ! Sorry for my English I know I'm hard to understand xD

Most of the damage I do mid-game comes from the "Wild Warhammer". I'd call it overpowered, but then the game would be way too hard.

If people are having trouble early you need to use the blueprints tab after battles to choose equipment/outfits for your heroes. Idk why it wasn't in the tutorial.

I love the harvesting idea and the high difficulty level in the beginning, the other games of the protector series are too easy.

"simplifying Protector gameplay" ?
I am sorry, but you have not achieved your goal. This is far more complicated than any of the previous protector games, not only in terms of build logic (deploying fighting units to harvest materials, losing the game when you don't have enough of one resource to build your resource gathering units, etc)) but also just in plain interface - the fact that I need to click on 4 separate locations just to upgrade my base level units is just painful. It could become a good game, but you need a lot of balancing and redesigning.

WILL you please fix this annoying bug when for some unknown reason the tooltip for an item remains in lei of a mouse pointer and you cant get rid of it, it just hovers around getting in the way blocking my ability to percieve items for the rest of the game, what the heck this bug is so common if you played the game for an hour then you would of known about it, fix it

I must be missing something because this game is very frustrating and not a lot of fun. To the developer, I have enjoyed your other entries in the Protector series but not this one.

For those of you who get the undefined item, one way to go about it is to sell it, gives n/a all resources allowing you to place at no cost, you also get n/a score tho so i wouldnt recommend it if you are aiming at highscore. Cheerio

Once you get the archers the bow with 50% criticals, the game becomes to easy. 11 archers stacked at the start, mount with critical bow, set fast forward and come back in 10 minutes to start the next map. Was challenging up until that point. 4 out of 5. Ending would have been nice. At least unlock a super map at the end or something.

I gave a mage an Ice-Shard (80% slow), a Strap-On-Beard (20% slow) and Slowing gem (20% slow). This resulted in the mobs walking backwards, moonwalking towards the edge of the map. XD

finsiehd the game- there is a slight bug with some of the items discriptons getting left on screen and I was saw an undifined item which was annoying- but other than that a great game, looking forward to the sequil if there is one in the pipeline, if there isn't get one in there!!

Would it be possible to allow playing this in low quality? This is perfect for playing while travelling and waiting for connections, but it strains netbooks and 3G connections quite a bit... Or, even better, make an iphone version of this! You've finally hit the right "tone" for a casual game :)

What a surprise! When the creator of Protector isn't taking himself so seriously, his work winds up a lot better. Seriously, Protector doesn't thrill me that much, but Little Protectors, despite some flaws (like, what does Berserk do? I can't figure that out...), is significantly better.

Beat every level in the game, got every achievement, and I get...nothing? No special levels, no graphics saying you've won! Nothing?

Grr the zombies are probably the most annoying enemy ive seen so far...just the sheer numbers of them...other than that, good, frustrating game! 4/5!

okay now i am curious. Would anyone of those guys that voted my answer to kiralin down please me so kind to tell me why? While my answer should also be pretty obvious, those two things are the only thing that limit unit placement exept for the obvius space he already mentioned (Or am i now missing something?).

I think a lot of people are underrating this game.
Its not a simple TD game where you have your basic strategy and run through the game.
It takes some thinking and proper use of skillpoints and spells to get past anything after the first level.
Overall: good game, has kept me entertained for a few days now
