The Elemental Plains of Scarcity. Name says it's a scarcity map, description and gem says it's a runner map, but when playing it, it's a drained map.

@z7master Wh yshould you gain skillpoints from replaying levels? It's meant to take SKILL, not just farming the first level to get all the talents then pwning the game. That's why you shouldn't have that in a game. Bah.

@DizzyIzzy Ofcourse it's no Halo: Reach/ Blackops. It's a totally different gamestyle, and it's a FREE game on the internet. Not some game you buy from a store. The budget for this game was probaly lower, but they seem to have made better use of it. Otherwise, I'd be on CoD now, not this.(And Halo sucks in my opinion, anyways)

i was playing a bunch of random maps and then i got the doom hammer from elemental plains... it made the game just lose all of its difficulty, same with wizards bow

This game is really easy i dont get why people say the beginning is soo hard all you have to do is this, build archers in one spot right next to eachother build a warrior near alot of wood get him has woodcutters axe asap. Now build up your archers with their strongest bow and best armor keep building archers and upgrading them you'll have a better chance of surviving the lower levels.

Great game. I like the fact that the 'towers' can be equipped individually.
Almost all the EQ is useful too, depending on placement.
Harvesting adds a neat strategic twist, too.
I kept wanting to have units which would buff my own units instead of attacking, like a haste wizard or something.

To Omega: you must have a quarter of a brain not to read disc: dress up doesn't give units equipment, just shows you how it would look if you got that equipment, and also gives you the chance to build it with resources if you unlock it in the dress up: PLUS TO SHOW NEWBS AND ERASE NOOBY COMMENTS THAT COULD STOP YOUR COMMENT FROM BEING SEEN
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Adding the resources just made it too complex to be honest, not to mention it's broken, I have to keep opening the window and tell them to stop harvesting if enemies come along, and then it seems every unit will try to mine a node somewhere on the map randomly and it's just one big mess that needs sorting out.

I was wondering why everyone was saying the difficulty curve sucked.. and then i unlocked wizards bow and tried it out... complete. ownage. suddenly all the difficult maps became cake with the 8x gold drop for the first few sets of rounds (after that its useless because you'll already have toooooo much gold even if u fill up the map with troops u'll have leftovers) and 2x soul drop for every round..

I've always been a huge fan of protector series, ever since the first one I've played through them multiple times. But this one is definitely a downgrade. Getting XP and leveling up a unit, planning your defenses was what I enjoyed about the other 4 - this one lacks all of that. Planning is meaningless since you upgrade with shared gold and getting your units stronger isn't as fun either. In the other 4, I always know the name of my strongest guy on the map, and it's fun seeing him level. But here, you have to beat every level by spamming units, very little strategy of building up a defense that won't have weaknesses.

I didn't think the protector series could get more boring but--you've outdone yourself this time, undefined. there truly is no word to describe how turgid this latest game is.

Good game, unfortunate that it becomes easier to spam one unit over and over (archers) as opposed to upgrading a few units to their maximum capability. I like the difficulty, just not the manner which it is overcome.

Difficult on easy levels and and really easy on the difficult levels. Once the game is better balanced it will be fantastic.

i give this game a meh, not verry addictive nor enjoyable, it was good, and i love tower defense, i just didnt enjoy this one as much as i have enjoyed other tower defense games, i found it lacked a skill tree system, the skill points could be spent on anything, and it took the excitment away from building up to that one awsom skill that just makes everything great, *caugh*nuke*caugh*

Archers crammed at the start wth flame bows, 2 on each spawn of wizards bows, 4 if only one, and a guy or two in the middle with Temporal Bows, best armor possible and splash. You may not get a HUGE score, but nothing will be a bother. If they go too fast, as on the start of some maps, use time warp twice in a row till you can get one guy using a flame bow. Mages I use to harvest, and only 2 of em usually. Wars pretty much come out if I am in need of a harvester and my mages aren't available.

I agree the game always has room for improvement, but on the bright side it is still wonderfully more addicting than many other's out there :)

Being able to freely swap skills is nice, but it also makes it very difficult to have a balanced game when they make such a significant impact on gameplay, and can be reallocated for any player to figure out the best strategy to win. It's not such a bad thing, but it can make the game much easier and less time consuming, though some people don't like a challenge I suppose :)

Great game. One suggestion : if possible closing the littles' tab (the one with equipment etc) be bound to the "esc" key not to the left click the red "x". Cheers

I did it, I beat a trillion, didn't get a video of it but now that I did it I know i can do it again. I will make a video this time and see if I can do it again.

Just got my score up to 779 billion. I am gonna break 1 trillion soon, I will try and post a video of me breaking 1 trillion.

The game seriously lacks 1) a finale/ending boss; 2) a decent difficulty curve, as once you get the first ten or so blueprints and ten skill points it gets way too easy (while I appreciated the initial difficulty); 3) some more fine tuning/bugfixing; 4) more variety; 5) easter eggs would be a nice extra...

Hmmmm... Well, I cleared my cache and now Little Protectors is loading here again. I understand if you find my lack of faith disturbing.

not sure if this s a bug but sometimes, units does no damage to enemies, they do their attack animation and there is no damage, this really messed me up a couple of times on some maps

"Critter Criter" Archer Upgrade (45 gold, 90 frags) made this game way to easy for me. I got it pretty early on and never lost a map. 50% crit is way too much. You've to lower it.
I used only 2 warriors for slow + smunch, and mages only for harvesting. My 6 archer cleared every map in the game.

Big fan of protector, thought this was gonna be awesome. Maybe I'm not playing the stages in the right order. But just too hard, and I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong. I've beat other protector games and this one is advertised as being simple and I can't get out of the easy stages, a bit odd.

I have a current high score of 260 billion. First you need to have beaten most places so you have plenty of points to upgrade your character. Bunnyman burrows is the map to play. You need to use the robbery spell on the last few levels (I had less than 100k points with levels to go). Before the last five levels I was casting the spell to get double souls, plus the splash and slow spells (it takes a while before you can simutaneously cast all three without running out of mana right away). I use the magic character and I upgrade its wizards pal and ancient suit. That gives you a bunch of damage and +70% mana combined. So later on when I have like 8 of those guys upgrade like that at the end of the game I am getting mana really quickly, like the 2,000 mana takes like less than 5-10 seconds to fill. Anyways, it takes some time but you can get up in the billions as well following that strategy.
