Under rating threshold (show) This game is not rated as highly as the other protector games. My guess is that this is because it's hard to get into. The early levels are extremely difficult, while the later levels, when you have many more weapon/armor options, are easier. The game doesn't really become fun until you've gotten to the mainland, which can take a few hours of play.

Under rating threshold (show) I was wondering why everyone was saying the difficulty curve sucked.. and then i unlocked wizards bow and tried it out... complete. ownage. suddenly all the difficult maps became cake with the 8x gold drop for the first few sets of rounds (after that its useless because you'll already have toooooo much gold even if u fill up the map with troops u'll have leftovers) and 2x soul drop for every round..

Under rating threshold (show) I have a bug that seem to be common since it already happend to me 4 or 5 times. An item desciption helper keeps in game on my cursor and won't disapear. Playing a whole game with this is rather annoying, as much as restarting to see the bug occur one more time actually.

Under rating threshold (show) Tips: 1. Some spells stack. This is a Robbery & Champions stack and can make you very powerful in a short time. 2. Mana% is amazing, if you have enough wizards with mana recovery, you can cast lots of spells per round. 3. Units and skills change over time so don't rely on the same stuff, learn to adapt. 4. Some skills are useless, the whole last row and the last column are mostly useless. Also any skill which improves starting gear, you will exchange that gear quickly. 5. The best skills are Damage, Recruiter, Mana Recover, Soul Stealer and on scarce maps Master Crafter.

Under rating threshold (show) Why does the developer say this is far more simple than the others Protector. This game's graphics are simple but the gameplay is far more in depth and challenging than MOST defense games. The skill tree and being able to reorganize it at will alongside resource harvesting are awesome additions to defense games.

Under rating threshold (show) i wish u could harvest multiple things at once so that if a unit cant reach one of the things you are harvesting they harvest 1 they can reach. Also it would be nice if units harvested until an enemy was in range, and then started harvesting when all the enemy's are out of its range. P.S. zombies are annoying :(

Under rating threshold (show) In addition to the other suggestions, I kinda hate the trend of unceremonious endings. I just wasted like ten hours killing everything that moved, and most of the things that didn't. Can I get some fireworks or something? Maybe a digital chest-bump?

Under rating threshold (show) You should be able to designate multiple resources for harvesting at once. It doesn't make sense that I build 2 fighters in separate locations, but only 1 of them can harvest at a time! + so game creator can see this if you agree

Under rating threshold (show) I love the other games, but this one misses the mark. Upgrading should be simplified and the resource gathering should be either automated or made so that you stop harvesting to kill monsters when they walk by.

I disagree with people who wants to make easier this game, sure you must replay few maps to achieve them but that is totaly possible to finish the game with the skill reseter ! For me it's really a good thing having difficulty to win the maps from start of the game to the end ! Sorry for my English I know I'm hard to understand xD

Under rating threshold (show) You think right drstark! WWoD: I'll see about adding the options and hotkeys you mention in teh next few days, they make sense. Some mobs do drop resources (Ents, Metal/Crystal elementals). Give the attack timing a few levels, the lower level items are rather slow, but things speed up a lot once you start collecting rarer blueprints.

Under rating threshold (show) some tips for begginers 1.add your points into damage dealing at the start. level 10 will give all your units +5 base damage which will turn hard maps into easy ones. 2. get units with smunch and splash. they stack so that when you attack all the units that have been hit with splash damage also get smunched making it easier for them to be killed by your other units.

Under rating threshold (show) finsiehd the game- there is a slight bug with some of the items discriptons getting left on screen and I was saw an undifined item which was annoying- but other than that a great game, looking forward to the sequil if there is one in the pipeline, if there isn't get one in there!!

Under rating threshold (show) I think a lot of people are underrating this game. Its not a simple TD game where you have your basic strategy and run through the game. It takes some thinking and proper use of skillpoints and spells to get past anything after the first level. Overall: good game, has kept me entertained for a few days now

Under rating threshold (show) why would you re-do a level if there are many similar versions of it? if you dont get how to harvest and fight at the same time, just put all your people at the back, and harvest until the enemies reach you. there are many strategies, but this is just a simple example. btw this game is good 5/5

Under rating threshold (show) WILL you please fix this annoying bug when for some unknown reason the tooltip for an item remains in lei of a mouse pointer and you cant get rid of it, it just hovers around getting in the way blocking my ability to percieve items for the rest of the game, what the heck this bug is so common if you played the game for an hour then you would of known about it, fix it

Under rating threshold (show) UPDATED Every one keeps saying that it's hard as hell but actually, I found it pretty easy. Look : uppgrade the skill "damage dealing", you will deal +5 damage (skill level 10). +5 is not so much for a warrior, but for a Bowman, it's realy good. Then upgrade your mana. Thanks to the skills for gold and for souls, you won't run low on gold or souls so you can hire some harvester. Now that you're quite at ease on both ressources, you can buy powerfull units with mana leeching abilities to be able to use your skills faster (place them at the very beginning of a map). Now hire some huge splash damage dealers (place them where many critters go or right after the mana leechers then toogle attack mode to "last"). Don't forget : splash damage ignore critters' armour! One giantslayer + some bowmen to finish off critters (with little piercing damage), If there is any problem, you can use a skill to kill them all (splash skill is quite good and cheap) Click the + if this comment helped you.

Under rating threshold (show) Not really sure why the guy saying this is hard got rated down, this is pretty hard, especially since the name, description, intro, tutorial, and art style all seem to be trying to imply that this is a fairly easy game (actually, the tutorial was a bit sickening/patronising for me). If it was aimed at people who like their tower defense games super hard, I wouldn't rate it and I'd just go play something else, but it never says that anywhere.

Under rating threshold (show) Strategy to get +500.000 points. 1) Complete all levels 2) 10 skill on: Mana, Ice, Treasure, 9 skill points on Gold and 6 on Damage 3) Need in Spell Book: Robbery, Souls and Teleport 4) Go back to Winding Road 5) Build 2 archers for first wave and hit Robbery 3 times 6) Use money for more archers in the back (all archers at the back of the map) 7) Use mana when it reaches 750 at a time you are going to kill lots to get more souls (soul spell) 8) Use souls to ASAP get mages with both tribal threads and wizards pal (50% mana) - place all wizards at the front of the first bottleneck (where the two paths merge). 9) When you have 6 mages use the mana they generate to use the robbery spell (7-9 times per round), if enemies get passed your wizards (which must be in front) use teleport to ensure that almost all damage comes from your wizards,

Thus, the window sticks by my curser the rest of game time for that screen. This particular time it happened with the charm of perfect aim, but it's happened before with other items.

Under rating threshold (show) Finished! All you people moaning about how difficult the game is could have completed it by now. The game has a problem with the difficulty ladder: once you complete the first 10 maps the game gets a lot easier. And without flyers, absorbsion and experience all the later levels can be completed using the same strategy (archers with rangefinders, lots of). OTOH for the first 10 levels this is the best game Undefined have made since Protector 2 in my opinion. I thought harvesting works and is an interesting game mechanic. I'm sure other developers will use and improve on it. I liked the advanced targetting and would like to see this used agian. I liked the lack of hero exp and no attribute gain for achievmeents, this meant the game could not be completed by grinding. Unfortunately with the low difficulty of later levels this didn't make much difference. Have a five for making a great game.

Under rating threshold (show) People... Known Blueprints / Little Dress Up is a way to browse the blueprints you have found and see how they look. It's Not a way to equip your units before starting a level. It wouldn't be much of a challenge if you could pre-equip everyone in uber gear now would it? You get the Weapons and Armour during a level by crafting them in the unit window.

Great game, the beginning is really hard, a lot more tactical than other protector games. 6/5! and keep up the good work, I truly enjoy spending time playing these games, which should never be used to "waste time."

Under rating threshold (show) Once you get the archers the bow with 50% criticals, the game becomes to easy. 11 archers stacked at the start, mount with critical bow, set fast forward and come back in 10 minutes to start the next map. Was challenging up until that point. 4 out of 5. Ending would have been nice. At least unlock a super map at the end or something.

Under rating threshold (show) Harvesting is easy, place 1 or 2 units close together at each end of the route. When each wave starts, harvest with units near the end of the route and switch to attack as the mobs move into range at the same time using units near the start to harvest instead. Items can turn the tide in your favour, a unit with a powerful single attack could use a splash item or a unit equipped with a splash weapon could be more effective with slow, damage, speed or other. It is sometimes better to build and equip a unit that can use an item to the greatest advantage then to give to a unit which has no need for it.

Under rating threshold (show) Definitely a fresh and much welcomed entry in the Protector series for the first couple hours, but the game just becomes really repetitive after you unlock the Flaming Bow and the Wizard's Bow. I find myself focused on harvesting so much more wood than the other two resources especially towards the later half of the game. @@
