Regardless of being "a hero of destiny" or whatever, why the hell is this little kid doing all the work fixing the town??

Great game, I would love to see a third, however if you would make another one I have a few suggestions.
-For random "book" adventures, create many more scenarios your character can go through that utilize his skills even more often. Right now they're far too repetitive (boring, boring, fight, poison, treasure, boring, fight...)
-If you move onto a square, and your stress bar hits 70+, you should still interact with that square before you have to go home. It doesn't make sense if you entered a square with a monster that you can just teleport out of there. Also, no matter how stressed your character is, he isn't going to just annoy the treasure. This upsets many people, which is counterproductive to the rest of the game.
-There should be a buyback option in the shop (at an increased price from what you sold it) in case you sold anything that you later decided you needed (such as if you were originally a warrior and sold your spell dmg. increases, then decided to go mage).

OK Kurt(my character), Next time, grab the treasure you are standing on, BEFORE you decide you are "too stressed out." Pansy.

This is a good concept for a game but stress meter fills up too quickly, I can't find any building materials, and when fighting in a dungeon I can get the enemy's health to go almost all the way down then miss the rest of my attacks so he can kill me. A few simple changes would make this game a lot better.

Oh also age requirements should be lowered by at least 2 years across the board. This is a very inefficient medieval town otherwise.

I really wonder what Legen Dary's doing at the village garden every day for the whole week. Like, I understand visiting it for a few hours. But that's gotta be some interesting garden to have to visit it by weeks at a time.

Wow, just got the hard badge with 96 weeks left on the timer... This game is really imbalanced towards warrior classes. Just focus on constitution/bravery/tactics and this is a breeze.

Very boring overall. Lots of things that would really help:
First: A decent tutorial. I had no idea what I needed when and wasted alot of time doing adventures I couldn't finish.
Second: Give an option to run from a fight in dungeon. But it leaves the whole dungeon. Spending ages fighting something I know I can't beat. Total waste of time.
Third: A list of how to get certain stats increased. I need dex. Can I get it? Not without wasting ages trying to find out what kind of training/work may have a small chance of giving it.
Fourth: An option to leave a dungeon immediately via the shortest path. I must have spent a good 10 minutes just walking back to an exiti I couldn't reach.
Fifth: Combat. Why give so many options if I can't use half of them for most of the game? An auto feature would be good. Auto-hit with weapon for example would save alot of the slug fests with things I know I can beat.
Oh and finally health potions seem to totally suck. Make them better!

All evil vanquished... by the teenage boy with clown shoes, pajamas, and a Mr. Clean scrubbing brush. God what a hero.

GOD DAMMIT my i got all 19 blue chests and it was the last week of the game (i was focusing on rebuilding and not paying attention to weeks) so im rushing and doing all the dungeons in 3 weeks (including rest time) so my character get right in front of the last chest and decides he's too stressed to get it... kill... me... now...

First of all, stress is the main thing about this game that makes it hard. The amount of stress you lose should decrease as you get farther into the game, or get more of a stat (ie. Composure or Temerament). It's pretty annoying when you kill an enemy in two hits and Legen gets stressed, so it should scale with the battle, like how much damage you take or something. Also, add a potion we can take in an adventure location that reduces stress, like a relaxation potion so we can spend more than 30 seconds in a dungeon and it doesn't take 10 weeks to do the hard ones. That would make the game a lot for fun for a lot of people. still, 4/5 for everything else. Stress just needs balancing.

In the adventure location, Ravine of Beauty, the description of it is "Your bards keep signing of this once enchanting place." I'm pretty sure that it is meant to be singing not signing.

I don't know if anyone else has this little pet peeve, but why can't we choose the sex of our character??? Just wondering ^_^'

Hard Challenge method: (there is probably a better way but this should work)
Start with all constitution talents, building material, and magic defense.
Year 1 (Age 12): Up Garden to 3(increase resting efficiency) with building material. Work as Sweeper(inc dex) and rest repeatedly.
Year 2 (Age 13): Work as Laborer for increased constitution.
Year 3 (Age 14): Keep working as Laborer. But upgrade barracks to lv 1 so you can take combat training for 2x efficiency with the money you made. Before you are 15, you should have taken out the first few dungeons and have some more materials to build forge
Year 4 (Age 15): build forge and do smithing for constitution. Take the money you earn for combat training and start taking out the easier dungeons. Use your material to upgrade hunter hut so you can take mixed combat for magic defense, and also max garden for rest efficiency.
From that point on, just keep working and training to comfortably taking out more dungeons.

Hello again, Skeleton with Boner. It's been a few weeks but I can see you're still happy to see me. Care to rassle and give me some loot before I turn 19 and I'm too old to adventure anymore?

Master, can you teach me how to use a sword? Please?
Ok, Legen, all you do is run up to your enemy, swing at nothing then run back to where you were standing.

Anyone know how to access the rightmost dungeons (other than the sturdy passage?) I've maxed out every stat. Only thing I haven't done is get the work level up to 100 for every job.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
@theo, some dungeons require finishing other dungeons to unlock. The skull one at the very top for example requires finishing the gates of hell one.

@wyrd42 You're right, but the game throws you into a bunch of menus with no sense of direction or upfront explanation of what anything does. So I went into the "Testing Grounds." Seems like a logical course of action, right?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Heaps of potential I feel, although feels like the game is only half finished, I felt half the skills made no difference, limiting jobs by age seemed almost pointless, perhaps make it that unlocking a new job is determined by prerequisite skill levels? Hope to see a more polished and clean generation 3! ^_^

To the game developer:
I love these kinds of "raise your monster/prince/princess" games, and was ecstatic to see one on Kongregate.
The one big issue that I had was that the Stress system bothered me. In some cases, it was things that didn't make sense (like the fact that Legen gets more stressed when he finds treasure). In others, it was just that Stress seems a bit overbearing. It builds very quickly, and takes so much to get rid of. There are no toys/potions/whatever to help get rid of Stress. At times, it made the game feel slow.
