A timed game with limited attempts at.... bad imbalances to avoid and good imbalances to abuse/exploit. You don't know which is which, so you get to guess! Even making this game yourself doesn't tell you without wasting absurd amounts of time "testing" it over and over and over. Brilliant.

Just finished it for second time, I got tier 1 result, Warrior of the Legends, score 450k.
The idea of the game is great, but you can't make a good run on your first play, as you don't know anything about stats, and by the time you learn about them, you will have wasted too many weeks. There should be a tutorial or something.
Oh btw, for begginers, I recommend choosing from the beggining whether you wanna be a fighter or wizard. And don't work unless you do so for stats, you will have enough money to buy anything by half of the game.
I chose to be a fighter, first of all I did the basic dungeons and found the castle to rest (str+dex+cons), then made my guy work as a sweeper until he had enough dex, then did some dungeons and upgraded barracks. Then I maxed his combat stats.
By that time, I was ready to take the world, and I had 80% of my time left to do only dungeons.

OK! I am fed up. By week 3 I had the forest and beach rest areas (You can only get a max of 20 attributes from each one, so keep count). By week 45, I fully cleared 6 dungeons, including the Broken Shipyard. I have NEVER, repeat, NEVER gotten the 4 dungeons on the right island, excluding the Sturdy Passage, which I had already gotten the blue chest from. I have done over 10 playthroughs. I have no clue how to get them to show up. You cannot clear these dungeons faster than that. SOMEBODY PLEASE TELL ME EXACTLY WHAY YOU NEED TO DO!!!

Thank you Greg, for giving me your pink striped pajamas on my 13th birthday. I now wear them whenever i go questing in the abandoned castle.... O_o

This was way better then the first. But one thing I think you should change is the spell books. I think you should have a left hand side. You should be able to equip one sword in your right and an a spell book in your left that has no porpous but increasing your spell damage. Or be able to equip a shield or another weapon such as a sword or something. I think this one was TEN times better then the first but it could be better still...

I was battling a red demon and he ran out of mana, so i hit him with a magic attack....
it broke the game...
dont hit mana based enemies with magic if they run out of mana folks

So, I just created a new character to be a pure mage... still, I do more damage in hand to hand combat than using a spell :-/

The accuracy thing isn't that bad, it's the crafting and enchanting that are horridly broken in a bad way, you need 1000 enchanting to get a 50% chance of putting enchantments on weapons and armor, and you can only increase it by seven points a week, smithing and tailoring only have a 50% chance of creating something, and it seems to be more along the lines of 25%...

Miss miss miss-->trial and error trainning-->you level up some more-->miss miss die-->STRESS MVP (at this point you lose your sanity at the pace of stress bar)-->combat trainning works!-->miss in next dungeon (does it work? you wonder)
(let's be honest, if you got the last achievement like I did you're probably a masochist, but damn it felt SO good when you got it)

I wish I could spend as much of my life on vacation as this character does. You know in the real world that stress bar needs to go much higher.

one major complaint from me (which isn't really that special) is that there is no complete mute option. the music in this game is nice and all, but i would love to be able to listen to my own music instead. and you gt kinda tired of the same loop after a while -_-

This game would be a lot better with text-based results for combat/training/working (or at least an option to disable the animations.) I don't mind the mechanics system, but waiting for combat or training to finish feels wasteful.

Legen, a 12-year-old, is tasked with buying absolutely every building in the village? Yes, that king does have a lot of "glorious wisdom", tasking a 12-year old with upkeeping a city.

I usually send my apprentice to five-week combat training sessions in between difficulty spikes so as to hit consistently. Also tactics is a must if you are gonna explore a lot of dungeons.

I made all the choices to become a Magician, and then I found out that all my MP was lost with misses and I had to go with melee...

Telemarketer: "Worried that even when you dodge a blow, you can't hit your foe adequetly enough? Tired of hitting below 10 on a monster with over 300 or even 400 health? This guy is pretty much a failure of a person IMO, he takes TONS of vacations, gets stressed out over EVERYTHING, can't find wood in a forest to build houses, has no coordination considering after having 600+ combat skill and every piece of armor having 10-15% hit chance increase and he still can't hit a skeleton. I have to say, I could probably do better than him with a piece of chalk and a whiteboard, I'd just annoy the hell out of the orcs by scratching the chalkboard... well I wouldn't miss lol... yeah but if theres ever gonna be a pet protector 3 I suggest making the chance to hit MUCH higher, you might want to consider adding blocking instead... more believable imo.
Summary: Less miss, a more observant character that can find wood in a forest, also he could take less vacations or pay rent or something, finally... if he's going to be some sort of "hero" he should atleast be a little LESS stressed out... or have medication or something.

I've got to say, I think I enjoyed the first game better than this one. In the first game I enjoyed the non-combat parts the best, like strategicly keeping certain stats high and other stats low, and mastering a job so you would allways suceed at it to make more coins, another thing that I liked in the first game was the simplicity, but with this game you made it less simple. And you made it more combat based and took out some of the good non-combat parts (Such as the work animation). If you make a third one please expand the non-combat part of the game and make the whole thing more interesting (less boring fight, bring work and school animation back etc.) thank you.

The Caves: you've found some foreboding caves, from the outside they look scary and dangerous, but once inside you soon realize it's one of the most relaxing places you've been to. You quickly draw a map and decide to return later. +10 Stress. WTF.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Why does the stress meter even go up to 100 if filling it up to 70 screws us? Is it just to make us waste time resting? Messed up, dude.
Also, if my guy could actually hit piddly monsters with worse stats all around, that'd be really, REALLY helpful.

For all of you who don't know how to increase your hit rate. You simply increase your combat attack(if you want to hit with melee), or magic attack(if you want to hit with spells), You do this by visiting the combat or magic schools. Combat/Magic defense makes it more difficult for enemies to hit you. Also dexterity increases your hit/dodge rate. I would suggest working into some money and training your fighting prowess to like 150 in the schools before you even hit the testing ground.

Very nice gameplay, it's all 'bout setting goals, you can't rush things things out 'ere.
As i said, very nice, smooth gameplay.
I hope for My Pet Protector III to come soon!
