the scroll's number depends on how high the level of the building used to train that skill is. This determines how much stress it causes you to train it, but will also increase the amount of the skill you are training you gain each day from training it.

Tip: If you want to get both your Combat and Magic Repute up, you might want to try using magic from the beginning, because you have a limited amount of mana and will end up using normal combat.

A broom is better than my frozen hand axe? Well then I guess I better upgrade my shop.. That didn't help any..? And yet again the very person pumping life in this town has to pay crazy prices for stuff I don't even need. I'm looking at you POTIONS!!! I CAN HEAL ON MY OWN AFTER EVERY BATTLE WHY DO I EVEN NEED YOU!?!

Is tier 5 result good? Is tier 1 the best? How does this work? So many unclear things in this game for example what does luck bonus do? What does it affect, how much? Would be nice if we could re-equip during a mission so that we can try different builds more effectively. Make the game more clear, other than that this game is Amazing I couldn't stop playing.

The easy badge is a joke, you don't have to do anything to earn it. On the other hand of the scale we have the hard badge. There's not enough explanations for this game - like what kind of things should you build/enhance to not spend more than half of the available weeks resting? By the time I figured it out it was too late, and I wasted a lot of hours and not getting the badge. I would have to start all over again..... Also, would be nice to be able to mute the music. Gets tiresome after four hours..

This game is not well balanced. If you want to be a Mage, you have no chance...
There are NO items for mages in the shop and I maxed it.

This game is far too slow, nothing is explained (such as what each stat does), and 70% of the monsters you come against in the beginning are WAAAY too hard.

(name here) found a few coins on the ground, it took a while but, he quickly gathered them up.... +2 gold coins... ummm if it takes you a while to pick up two gold coins then you arent gathering them quickly

Great game 5/5 but a couple of things to mention. There is no schooling for enchanting, pretty much the only thing you cant go to school for. Also it would be nice if after the character turns 19 the stress no longer plays a role allowing you to plunder longer and school longer insteat of every few minutes switching back to rest. Other than that great game

Tip: get as much con. in the begin, with enough con. u can rest faster... skills such as str or int can be gained later on.

If the forest is good to rest in, it makes perfect sense that discovering it would be incredibly stressful, more so than working would be.

at the beginning pick everything that gives you gold and building materials. only study combat and explore to find enough materials. I finished the BOTD at age 14.

I have just wasted 8 hours on this game. Don't get me wrong its an exxellent game onc the character has laser eye surgery. I trainedall stats up to 1000 and I still didnt have all the skills. and the skills i have are quite useless. could you lower the dexterity and intelligence requierments?

This game is great. At first, it IS confusing, but once i got a hang of it, it was fun. Also, this game breaks the 4th wall more than Scribblenauts.
