thingmann287 i think sci improves attack due to biology. aka- the apprentice knows the weak points of the monster better, so more attack.

followed the good advice of halfdelita!!, n much thx i dont think i coulda beat it the first go-around w/o that help, n to add a few hints..on the adventure map, to get the hard badge, just ignore the four orangy-reddish flags and simply just go to and explore the seven bland tan multi-colored square(s) on them flags..i know the whole dungeon part in the "exploration" dungeon hard badge descript is confusing, cause only two of the seven flags has the word dungeon in it. And dont worry bout finishing having to finish each of the seven flag(s) neither n getting the check mark, cause you wont get the check mark unless you get all the light baby blue colored chests plus the most important one, the dark blue chest. Just remember that as long as you focus on getting the dark blue chest from each of the seven "dungeons", you're f-ing golden son and you'll have "earned" the hard badge, but from the get-go i seriously recommend following halfdelita's very good advice, it works.

One time I entered the hardest dungeon and got to about 68 stress when I hit what ended up being a row of 3 monsters followed by the blue chest. "Well, I guess I'll have to come back." DX Kills first enemy; Stress message box appears. Stress at 79. "Yeah, yeah... wait-" walks to next enemy- "Ha! I can keep walking if they are next to each other!" :D Kills that one; Stress message still there and Stress at 90. "Haha! I'm going to keep going." and luckily, I got close to dying twice from those 500 HP skeletons, but didn't croak. Kills one more; Stress at 100. "Wooo! And the blue chest is right after!" which you can get if it's right after an enemy. "HAHAHA, take that game mechanics!!! My Stress is 111.5 and I got the blue chest of the dungeon, for the Hard badge too!!" The best, hilarious part was my Stress being well over 100 when it normally forces you home above 70.

For all 3 Badges in 1 game easily. Start a new apprentice and select Fighter/Nobility/Wealth. Do no adventuring or anything other than Work(Stablehand only) and Rest (80g or 200g Holiday only). Continue to do this and nothing else until age 15. Then switch work to Night Guard. Night Guard to about 65 points. At this point, go to the school and train combat ONLY. Do this and rest until your combat is at 100/100 or you run out of money. When you reach at least 100 combat defense you can begin adventuring easily. (Ignore the non exploration adventures as they dont give you a bonus towards the badges) If you have at least 60 weeks left when you start adventuring your on track. I finished the hard badge with about 60 days left.

My guy had 100's in pretty much everything magic related, he even got a 100 in fortune telling as a job. So basically my apprentice could get a job as the king's wizard. But apparently he's completely unknown.

I'm missing both the medium and hard badges, and refreshing doesn't help. How am I supposed to take a screenshot to prove I earned them? There's no way to verify in game..

hmm lets see, I got him to be unknown even tho he had 100 magic and melee defence and about 50 on each attack ... surely he is a tank/protector

@lonelyterrorist: i managed to beat them with combat defense/attack 100 using a red axe and the dark armor set. i didnt have much constitution, but i did have a good amount of strength. hope that helps.

There should be a counter of how may treasure chests are in a dungeon and of how many you have gotten. + if you agree. Otherwise great game. 5/5

On Thingmann287's "How does science improve my attack? I take science every day and you dont see me winning against a elite skeleton warrior" I kinda can. They cant move. Even if they could, Skeleton + Acid = Dead.

Wait wait wait, as a warrior I ended game with a score of 138179 as a brilliant tutor of combat and that was a tier 5 result.
However with a mage, with all the same stats and such except flipped to magic instead of combat, I got a score of 12779 became a royal seer, and that was a tier 4 result.
What's up with that?

Sometimes when adventuring and coming across the fairy, the game will state something like "Being a sinful kind of guy, Alex Burns just laughs and goes on." But my "pet protector" (Alex Burns) usually has zero or low sin and always very high compassion , morals, ect. so it's not making any sense to me that he would leave a fairy chained up and be called sinful but is compassionate enough give a lost teddy bear / toy to a child.
(I don't know if this is possible bug during regular play but it sure seems like a bug after the game officially ends but lets you play on after the character has already turned 18) I also agree - (and this is a problem in other Princess Maker-like games as well) - that it is really stupid that your sin goes up just for killing enemies. Especially if there's no way to avoid a fight and I'm not talking fleeing. At least in Princess Maker, if your compassion was high enough then most creatures.....(if not all)... stopped being hostile to you.

You want to get insanely strong? Become a dragon tamer. It wont be till the mid to early 30-40 range before you can successfully do all 7 days but its well worth it. Every 10 points or so of dragon taming gets you a strength point.

For Greer's Ambition, head up as much as you can from the start, then head all the way left, then up again. You should now be in the top left corner. From there head right then down, left one square then down again then to the right. You are now in a big room. go to the top left corner of this room and follow the path from up there. Hope this helps

If you time it so that you get the message of too high stress level just when you start a fight, you are able to clear out the dungeon anyway :)

That elite skeleton warrior in Greer's Ambition is highly overpowered, 100 attack and defense with 180 hp and i still die since his hp is so large. Luckily it seems to be RNG and doesn't appear in the same spot all the time, so i managed to get the unique treasure without killing it.
