Lol, I accidentaly clicked outside of the field while placing a crossbowman, now he is standing there hitting the enemies :D

I went through the whole game and earned all the badges except the first one. How is it I never got one critical hit? How do I do those?

Played the game loved it every time I do I love it. I have finally discovered how to expedite the process of getting gear and what not. Save your skill points don't invest in Loot, Instead do as many mission for The League of Honest Gentlemen as possible and raise your reputation as fast as you can. As soon as they send The Wanted Man hero recruit him, use him in every fight and get 20+ loot items every battle.

what determines when/if the LoT storyline opens up? ("Setting up Camp", iirc)I thought it was supposed to start early in the game, so I keep restarting. going to clear my browser cache and see if that helps.

cabbages can be incredibly resilient. just be glad you have the opportunity to buy advanced units that are sometimes better than basic, for a conservative 300% markup.

Am I the only one who has experienced that glitch in which you cannot stop playing and the game drags you in for hours of fun? One of best defense games ever. 5/5

You can start a game and immediately end it and get a potential hero to hire. Do this early in the game to get what you want.

my only gripes are how the talents feel a little out of order (like they should be sectioned by quest rewards, scroll learned, etc.) and how many flying enemies make melee units near useless.

There are 26 Storyline Quests (takes a while). Do not use melee units. Max your hero's Ranged or Magic Use accordingly. Save heroes with good unit pairings regardless of element -- there are items that change elements later in the game.
With 38 Magic Use, 22 Elemental, and 14 Base attack power, I cleared most maps with only 4 units placed.

physics does what exactly?+1 % damage per level? +1 damage per level?
does the physical upgrades increase the same amount? is the number some multiplier for damage like 6 physical does damagex6? same with the rest. hard to read numbers.

As the advertisement was playing I was getting nervous. People are saying it's a lengthy badge and posting tips on how to get it so they can get their Kongpanion. I start to sweat. And then... I've already got the badge!
Suck it, nerds, I'm gonna enjoy my Caross while you slave away.

Yes! One of the best games ever. I've dominated all the Protectors numerous times over. Tell the developer you would like more Protectors!

Good game... did run out of time (need to sleep sometime) and resort to mage spamming the easy areas for the last few quests, but that's my failing...

I hate Tower Defense games...especially because there are so many of them with badges that I will most likely never get.

Well.... I didn't know you could just replay the same map to get the badge.....Only spent 5 hours playing. FU** MY LIFE.

Filled an entire area with archers, until I had no money left... then some Knight walks through who takes no archer damage. This is what I get for not reading those paragraph long entries...

For those doing the BOTD you can play the same quest as much as you like and it counts for the badge each time. It's easier this way.

This badge took way too long. :( I might try playing the game again later, but I'm done for now, so I'm gonna take a nice break from it.

I agree with the other commenters who said that this is too long (and grindy) for a Monday BOTD. I enjoy tower defence games, but this was very repetitive and exhausting. The non-storyline quests quickly became too hard to complete, the rules didn't explain the various different places that points could be used, and in-quest, the prices for things like paving or upgrading started as way too expensive. I never felt like I was learning good strategies as I played, I didn't like starting at zero with the troops/units (in terms of level of basic skill and starting gold) every time I began a new quest, and I would have at least liked an option from the beginning to play on easy/normal/hard. I hung on playing longer than I would have if it hadn't been for the BOTD. As it is, once I realized I could replay a storyline quest to get the badge, I gave up any pretense of playing the larger game, replayed the same quest over and over, and quit once I had it.

I came back to this today because I wanted to get the Kongpanion that I'd spent half my day getting. Turns out you can redo quests, my laptop was just being a pain beforehand when it wasn't showing that I had redone the same quest over and over again. Either way I got the Kongpanion!! I still like this game though, and will explore it further when I have more free time :)
