For those curious about how to play Protector: Reclaiming the Throne post-Flash with the SuperNova SWF Enabler plug-in, use this address provided below by copying the entirety of it and pasting it onto the address bar at the top of your browser to ensure that it bypasses the 'GameShell' issue that have plagued many earlier games of Kongregate: supernova://play?swfurl=https://chat.kongregate.com/gamez/0001/7484/live/protector-110-undefined_Secure.swf?kongregate_game_version=1287500377 Make sure that your latest installation of SuperNova works correctly, as it will not function if it cannot load games that can work fine without this bypassing of the SWF files here. As a tip for this game, take full advantage of this game's Protectopedia as it gives out various useful information about the many tower units you will be using here alongside how to make the most of each of their abilities among other tips.

I hope that they find a way to keep Kongregate going in 2021. 2020 was a crappy year, so I hope that 2021 isn't worse (COVID without Kongregate)

It's ofc, not possible on some levels to have few heavy hitters, on some levels you need to level up heroes to lvl 2-3 in the last part of the level and add heroes further along on the path so the exp is shared pretty much equally between all the heroes.

couple of takes: It's generally better to have few heavy hitters than many weak, otherwise armored creeps will kill you. So try not to distribute the exp between many mages/warriors.
usually, it's better to focus on dmg than special. I find the special to be not worth the dmg penalty in my battles.

For those struggling, the key is to build your units at the back of the map (or middle) first, so they get experience that makes them stronger, and then build your way forward.

the coward mode is just shaming the Casuals for playing this mode, saying that theyre a coward and dont want a good challange. This was a bad development choice, beause Casual Gamers now would feel bad because they play most games on Easy mode

I found a secret: When you enter the game, the monsters walking at the title is random. However if you enter any level and back to title, all of the monsters will be the last monster you met.

The speed up button, the flexibility of the mages and knights, and knowing what the future waves have make this a great improvement over the original. It's also a hell of a lot harder than the original, but I know I'll beat every map eventually.

This game is too hard! I tried it multiple times, but I just can't seem to defeat the last couple of waves - I could use a walkthrough, but what's the point if you can't even beat the fifth stage!

I clicked out of the tutorial and I got to stare at the screen for 10 minutes before I press the back button, which I'm going to do.....right now.

@Ryan, i feel your pain man this is a seriously difficult tower defense, the whole "xp to level up" thing makes stuff very difficult.

I'm losing the tutorial because I made everyone but one person poison and they heal the rat guy and there is no way to stop them.

Ok... I play a lot of tower defense, but I just can't seem to beat any of the levels past easy. I've tried dozens of different strategies, switched up my skills, etc. Also... what is the point of replaying a level if you don't get anything for beating it the second time? Any suggestions on how to make this game enjoyable for more than a couple levels?

I only wish there was a way to select a target preference, so that I can set my Infection Mages to target enemies with higher health rather than attacking someone who's been poisoned already.
