Pretty god game, arena mode starts off a bit rough but it gets pretty exciting as well. It does seem to lag more and more as I play though.

Very good game, but yeah you did miss the mechanic on base int for spellcasting. I know you replied that the shaman is OP anyhow. Which is true... but there isn't much +int gear in the game I've found. The rare staff off of the mage is less than worthless. The 2 headed green hammer is much better and it's a melee style weapon. Actually with the way the mana spring ability works it helps to have as low int as you can for spell longevity. because it returns 20% and a set 100 mana. The higher your int the more all your spells cost, the less that 100 mana does for you. Also shamans could be stuck with just leather or warriors should get plate. But otherwise it's really close to the real deal. Great job!

*sighs* you perfectly captured the frustration of trying to level up a small rogue solo. murdered a third time by a level 2 boar. I'll get to 3 someday.

This game has been released around 2.5 years ago. I hope Episode 2 will be out soon. Because this game is just amazing.

Alright, since no seems to have stated this recently I'll go ahead and get it out there. The news is not the best for it seems that there will not be and episode 2. From what I can tell unmediocre can't make the game due to copyright issues. Additionally his website seems to have also been taken down, so he may not even be making games anymore all I know. If I am wrong please tell me I would love to hear it.

Tip: Play Scout, so you can get Pick Lock. It's basically like infinite, free skeleton keys. Then you'll have tons and tons of money and gear. You also get neat damage abilities and multiplicative damage combos, plus suppression, which is IMO the most amusing playstyle (after playing each class) and lets you beat the ridiculous frog at the end easily.

The treasure chests are the best way to gain gear and progress through the game at a fast pace. First run back and forth between screens with a mob until you see an unlocked chest, mouse over it to see the type. After getting enough money do the same thing but only with locked chests, by buying skeleton keys. After you got the gear go and face the Earth Caller and his minions where you can get even better loot. Btw the best chests are the lvl 20 Heavy Trunks which hold good high lvl loot. Make sure to get those on sight.

anyway i beat the doom frog with the shaman, i relied mostly on luck but still, i beat him after 3 tries. i used flash bombs, mana potions, frost shock, ancestral spirit and normal damage moves. you will have to rely on a lot of blank stares by the frog. i used a flash bomb when it was ready and a frost shock with the flash bomb to keep him stunned after a while and then use normal damage moves. the ancestral spirit will provide 1 revive if he does use doom.
ps i was lvl 40 and i speed levelled on the level 10-12 wolves.

most comments are many years ago... i played the 1st version of the 1st game many years ago... only discovered there was an expention and a followup last week... too bad it got dropped since... but understandable because of copyright issues :)
