@General Michael: Misson 8 is one that really tests patience. The first goal is to eliminate the enemy navy, which is relatively easy because you have a far superior force. Remember that U-Boats are really good at destroying battleships. Also, if you destroy all of the hunter support and their raptors in an area, then they have no defense for your aircraft. Make sure you have plenty of hunter support to counter their aircraft. From there, you really have to be careful when attacking the enemy island. I split my War Machines and came ashore in the bottom left corner and the top right corner, and used a mixture of stealth tanks and anilators to reach the middle. I beat it on hard with this method, hope it helps. :)

Is it just me, or does the AI seem to stop trying once it's down to just 3 or 4 units? I remember the bonus map in the first game had an issue similar to this, but worse.
The AI doesn't seem very good at defense. Once you beat back that initial rush, it's almost a cakewalk to victory.
That aside, you know a game is pretty darn good, when your biggest complaint is about an AI with unbalanced difficulty.
As for those that say it's a ripoff, you need to review the meaning of that word. Ripoff refers to a creation that is presented as unique and original but is actually a copy or near-copy of something else. In the first game, the developer said right out that the point of the game was to fix several of the flaws he found in advance wars. It's basically a spinoff of advance wars, but the creator had to make it look original to avoid copyright/trademark issues.

on the last level just spam raptors then once their blockades are down go to the mineral deposits and extract and build 2 of that big 525$ tank

Actually, scratch that. The stealth tank will remain on the field, but will remain immobile and impervious to attacks. I have yet to see if the the stealth tank will remain as a linchpin preventing a loss in case all other vehicles are destroyed.

Found a glitch in the game. It probably occurs in all the battalion games that have stealth tanks. If you move a stealth tank so that it cloaks, then build a unit, you can undo the move, which doesn't work, but for some reason this allows enemy vehicles to pass through the stealth tank which will remain cloaked even if the enemy vehicle stops directly adjacent to the stealth tank. I doubt it's a problem that needs to be fixed, and it has little value in multiplayer since undoing moves costs a lot of morale, but I'm mentioning it anyways for those who care to exploit it or fix it.

.... and Advance Wars was a copy of Battle Isle which was released in the early 90´s, and I remember that was influenced heavily by the Battlemech board game... stuff is influenced by other stuff, its part of the world we live in.

For a browser based game, this looks impressive. It even has a hot redhead. Too bad I always lose connection when playing it.

@Cypher290 thats because the computer makes horrid decisions: i make a raptor it makes a condor, just work your way around it and you will find that the computer kinda needs that extra firepower (lol almost complete through hard)

Playing on hard is unfair, when you attack an enemy tank with two of yours then he turns around and one shots your tank is BS

Sure it is a rip off of Advance Wars. Saying it isn't is naive. But Advance Wars is a ripoff of Dai Senryaku 1-7 which are all better than AW IMO.

@zoozak, This game ISNT a ripoff of anything. Put it this way, i saw an awesome lego model online, and it inspired me to create one like it, because it was such a good bot. tell me that is a ripoff.

isnt bad althrough difficulty keeps on changing brutally ex:you beat a level on hard without difficulty but can hardly beat the next one on medium and vice versa.

Enough is enough. The Developer stated that he gained inspiration from Advance Wars. Stop complaining about it and appreciate the great piece of work that it is.

Last level on hard degenerates into a war of attrition, you just need to wait it out and attack when the AI does something stupid like put their last warfactory on a boat and send it out into unprotected waters :)

It's not a ripoff, the designer clearly states on nemesis that he took inspiration from the game...besides, so what? Enjoy it, it's free kids.

I didn't play all the way through the game though I thought it was not bad. I don't see why everybody's whining about how it's extensively based on advance wars. The problem is not that it lacks originality but that it lacks some improvements. Even some that were implemented in advance wars 2 such as XP for COs, choice of COs, choice of maps and stuff like that...
