Why, why did I insist on doing the last 2 levels on hard... the last level became never - ending fly swatting, each of us spawning 2-3 planes each round. The AI REALLY does not want to go down easy on that one.

This is the hardest of the three Battalion games because:
1) The AI doesn't run out of money unless you make them due to the passive nature of oil refineries, so they can build more powerful units more often instead of just infantry
2) The AI actually (at least it seems to) build units to counter your units instead of just spamming Condor Bombers.
3) The Condor Bomber OP because it has more health than in the other games, and the raptor's damage is medium instead of light, making it less effective against it. It can also counter attack, and this makes it dangerous for even the Hunter of Flak Tank to attack, as it rips them to shreds even with a counter attack.

Odd how when I played lvl 9 on campaign, after I took care of most of the mobile units, the factories didn't produce, meaning I just had to take care of the turrets while the enemy stocked up on money (May be a bug, I don't know) and ended up winning after destroying the turrets.

there is a way to stop the enemy from producing troops without taking their buildings:place any unit on the factory and they ca
nt build anybody!

This game is pretty cool. Reminds me ALOT of Advance wars, but hell, who gives points for originality these days. The secret Spartan level kicked ass!

The game was a lot of fun until lvl9 where the AI waited the sh_it out of me... They knew I wouldnt surrender, so they just waited until I closed my window...

Funny story - I was attempting stage 9 on hard and found it nearly impossible, and on my third try I just decided to let it play out when I was losing pretty bad. I lost all my units except for both planes, and had to sacrifice one to destroy the commando that was about to take my only factory (and had already taken my ground control). However, I managed to slip by the huge flak tank clump and get into the center of the map. At this point the AI apparently forgot how to make units, so the one rocket truck he had chased me around unsuccessfully. I saved up until I had over $5000 and made an army of ships (mostly battlecruisers), which I slowly pulled out of my only factory. I then proceeded to wipe out the AI army, because the AI still wasn't producing units.
TL;DR Stage 9 hard mode is absurdly difficult but it balances out by the AI breaking after destroying almost all your units. Survived with one plane, then made a ship army and won.

I was playing the bonus map and the enemy had all these planes, ships and oil rigs I thought I was done for. But then it suddenly stopped making units, even though it was sitting at loads of cash. It also put their units on blimps but never actually deployed them afterwards, which made them an easy target. What a terrible AI.

lol steal opponents ability to create vehicles and sea vehicles whith all land units destroyed including turrets...... its safe to safe they IMMEDIATELY gave up

Pretty fun game. Reminds me of my Advance Wars game for the DS that I broke by accidentally putting in the washer >.<
Also, as many pointed out, the AI takes WAY too long to take their turn.

Fun game. As everyone before me has already mentioned though the AI takes way too long to make it's move. Only negative I found. 4/5

Keep your 2 long range boats back as well as aircraft in wait for the enemies to come across the bridges and keep hitting them, don't expose anything to their turrets, hit their long range rockets with your boats when they come into range, land your infantry onto refineries straight away but keep one back to switch with damaged inf when enemy come, they throw alot at you but sit tight, damage units instead of destroying where possible, eventually they stop building & you win

This is just honestly making me want to play Advance Wars again x.x Although, I am pretty impressed to see such a well coded and devloped game. 5/5 from me. Keep up the good work!

It's funny how we can do the campaign on "easy" and still earn that hard badge. Probably one of the hard badges that can even be done on the easiest difficulty.
