This is the hardest of the three Battalion games because:
1) The AI doesn't run out of money unless you make them due to the passive nature of oil refineries, so they can build more powerful units more often instead of just infantry
2) The AI actually (at least it seems to) build units to counter your units instead of just spamming Condor Bombers.
3) The Condor Bomber OP because it has more health than in the other games, and the raptor's damage is medium instead of light, making it less effective against it. It can also counter attack, and this makes it dangerous for even the Hunter of Flak Tank to attack, as it rips them to shreds even with a counter attack.

level 9 is definitely the hardest. difficulty is based on where you place units on first move DO NOT place a unit on front row next to hill whatever you do. this pisses ai off big time. Level 9 is my fav now. use leviatin to block left side. It can take direct hit from tank and anti aircraft tank. you must be defensive for roughly 20 rounds. Use the choke pts and repair tanks. I can do this level by building 9 units with no lost units, not everytime but that is my record

so I just did the bonus level and for some reason the AI decided to air lift out the little property capturing boat, like what the hell? Is that a reasonable tactic :P and then all it did was fly around the map for four turns getting shot at XD

Level 9 is too hard, due to the enemy over runs you with Flak tanks, that have a nice move range and power on naval forces and commandos

Nice, game, i like the style that's a little different than Advance Wars, Level 8 takes a lot of time. P.D: I wrote this comment while waiting for enemy's turn

I also kinda wish I could bomb enemy buildings and destroy them instead of just capturing them. Like I have a bomber, four raptors and a missile truck right over it, but this f***ing oil drill is STILL making money for the enemy until my infantry can trek over there.

I really want to give this game 5 stars, I really do. But it loses one for the super long wait for the AI, and it loses another for making you wait until AFTER the AI is done to access the options menu. 3/5 until you fix these things.

few missions in.... now tanks can move, fire at me and disappear in one turn. But I cant move my tank to attack an invisible one even though I know where it is. There are better ways to make games challenging, this feels cheap at best.

Great game, well thought out scenarios, nice mix of units and capabilities. One constructive criticism- the map is a little hard to manipulate, especially trying to get to view the corners. Can't wait for the next version.

Maybe I'm spoiled by Advance Wars, but it would be great if the game told you how much money you were making per turn. 5/5

and even then, the "Wars" Series goes far in the past as just Advance Wars for GBA, The Game Boy has his own "Wars" and it was released in year 1991 and more: The first Game of this was on the Famicom (Japan NES) named "Famicom Wars" 1988

@sirhc2003 uh no, no it wasn't. Advance Wars was released September 10, 2001. This wasn't even made before the most recent one (Days of Ruin) which was released January 21, 2008.
