Under rating threshold (show) Kay, only did some quick testing on this one, but I think the numbers for difficulty are: Easy: All enemies do 75% of normal damage. Normal: All enemies do 100% of normal damage. Hard: All enemies do 125% of normal damage. No effect on how much damage enemies take, as far as I can see.

Under rating threshold (show) For those who don't know yet, the more HP that a unit loses, the less damage it can deal; so, More HP = More Attack Power. This goes for you AND the enemy. There are lots of times when it's better to have most or all of the enemy units still alive but weaker and surrounding you than to kill some one by one and have the rest of the enemies at full health. In later levels, especially in harder modes, it's the only way to win.

Under rating threshold (show) Chapter 8 was my personal favorite, minus the AI taking 5 minutes every turn AFTER he moved all his guys. Didn't expect to like this game based off the comments, but it has a starcraft feel to it that I like. 5/5

Under rating threshold (show) AI on normal is not building units effectively. I'm rolling him and he had $6k he never spent when he had multiple bases and ample time to build (he made 1 unit in a long fight). I'll try hard mode and see if that helps. That's a bad AI, esp when it takes forever to end it's turn. But the game has great potential if that is fixed.

Under rating threshold (show) @Aswissrole - the AI is comparing every possible unit it could buy at that point to see which is the best option. From each factory it owns. It has to test all the possible combinations - so, if it has two factories, one of each control, and one factory is on water, it has to try around 200 possible combinations (remember that commando + tank is different from tank + commando - which factory matters!) or so. That only gets worse at higher factory (or factory-on-water) counts and more money available... and probably at higher difficulties, as it likely thinks harder about the choices.

Under rating threshold (show) the math is still wrong on this and this game has convenient little ways of cheating. if we are equal in strength as displayed by the color bars, then how come I can't kill their sub in one shot but they can always kill me? how come their subs receive no damage when they're parked on the rocks? why in Wave 10 do I always loose the turn of a crucial playing piece that has not yet been used and is still lit up, but won't respond to any command and has no cursor around it? and why is there no review your comment selection before posting?

Under rating threshold (show) Odd how when I played lvl 9 on campaign, after I took care of most of the mobile units, the factories didn't produce, meaning I just had to take care of the turrets while the enemy stocked up on money (May be a bug, I don't know) and ended up winning after destroying the turrets.

Under rating threshold (show) This is the hardest of the three Battalion games because: 1) The AI doesn't run out of money unless you make them due to the passive nature of oil refineries, so they can build more powerful units more often instead of just infantry 2) The AI actually (at least it seems to) build units to counter your units instead of just spamming Condor Bombers. 3) The Condor Bomber OP because it has more health than in the other games, and the raptor's damage is medium instead of light, making it less effective against it. It can also counter attack, and this makes it dangerous for even the Hunter of Flak Tank to attack, as it rips them to shreds even with a counter attack.
