Your troops are highly experienced with good rifle skill. It'd sure be a shame if a lucky grenade landed right on Sarge and they ran away like little b*tches.

and of course i set up 2 rows of barb wire and have 4 50 cals but instead of the germans using artillery and tanks and plane they use HUGE HUGE HUGE masses of troops to attack me but my fifty cals are doing good and i get a mortar and everything is going fine but the germans numbers are incresing so i have my troops equip machine guns then they are a good 30-50 troops attacking me! finnaly my barb wire is broken through and they give my engineers not time to put up new defense and replace barbwire so my elite troops are fighting with bayenets and my fifty are still going at it then they bring up more troops and I'm dead they killed me with huge amounts of numbers but i killed a good 235 enemies and 5000 or so bullets wow! and by the way happy new year!!!!!!!!!

i had everything a.t. mines then barbwire and finally normal troops also some machine guns in the front line. in the second line of defense i had commands with bayonets and grenades and finally i had a tank then at wave 123 or so a lucky VERY VERY lucky bomb hits my tank and my second line of defence i ask myself "really' but other than that its a great game!

I'm f*cking tired of my stats just casually changing themselves. One round my overall waves survived is high the next it drops 50. Also in recent news! Everythings going fine, troops are strong, 4 guys only. ARTILLERY STRIKE HITS YOUR BUNKER SQUARE!

@NalekHawk The "real wave counter" is separate from the visible wave counter. For example taunted waves don't count for the stats, you can check the wiki for more info

when you finally set up your defence perfectly with a tank, AAA, sarge, and much, much more. Don't worry heres a V1 blitz...

Wave 96: most of the squad is dead, sarge, a medic, officer, signaler, and gunner are holed up in a bunker as the gunner is basically killing everyone himself. i get a sniper and hes blown up by mortars and shot but still survives. the germans have secured the past four or so supply crates that havnt been blown up by either side. my sniper reaches a crate that isnt too far from the bunker... THANK GOD ITS ICE CREAM.

"A german motorcycle with the driver and passenger killed sitting motionless in front of a crowded trench!? We must eliminate this threat even if it means killing everyone of our soldiers inside!"- Allied Tank Commander

the good thing about the WEPSE is after it kills off your squad you get to watch as it kills off dozens of germans as well

Try advancing. Continually advancing (moving all your units to the very top of the screen) can help prolong your survival, and is extremely useful in Para Challenge.

My favorite tactic is to make a line of trenches and barbed wire. i also make a pillbox/bunker in case of arty; When i hear that sound i tell all my troops to stop shotting and run inside, except the frenchies cs no1 gives a fk about them XP

I had a blitz wave at wave 8...I thought I was done for, but then just as I accepted my doom the germans changed their tactic. and sent 20 infantry.

this game is supposed to have "random" unfairness toward you but really its intentional intent to wipe you out no matter what. Example: wespe tanks on rounds 3 and 10

Flamethrowers tend to linger in one spot for a while; try to keep them escorted by at least one guy. However, with a bit of luck and some ribbons later on, they can be highly effective infantry killers. Just be careful, though. Burning enemies might run into your flamethrower and engulf him too. (That's not guaranteed, though, and it's also likely your flamethrower [or any man for that matter] will be unharmed if a burning enemy passes through him. Still, be careful; don't be cocky, or surprised if it occurs.)

game being unforgiving! air raid at wave 9 dropping flak even though my troops undercover. sniper came out. an unfair event then a combined arms blitz. all before wave 32

Given the strength of the German force... the game definitely takes place before the Ardennes Counteroffensive. But isn't unfairness a great way to get replay-ability? How many times will I allow myself to get completely destroyed by the blitzkrieg?
