123456. A lot of cities for Violetnam to hop around. sign a pact with greenland, then get your tropps up top. attack redosia on all sides, they'll fall easily enough. mass your troops on the greenland border. Send some guys toward blugaria. then, once the fighting is done, then attack the loser's capital then hit the winner.

342756 as Bluegaria. On my first try, i signed a pact with Redosia, but they got conquered by Purple, resulting in a long, protracted war between me and purple which would never end. So, on my second try, i didn't sign a pact with Redosia, and although they still got conquered by Purple, their armies are weaker, so i prepared tanks on the north and south, and then stormed in. Although i got repelled in the north, and almost did in the south, i managed to get Purple's capital, and then i conquered Red.

31643. Very interesting. Kind of looked like an X. Redosia and Violetnam have a long choke area, perfect for defense. So if you're playing as one of those two, you can sign a pact with Bluegaria or Greenland, and then hold the line until they help you against the other country. Bluegaria has lots of cities in proximity, which will almost guarantee a success against Greenland, which have one choke point, but if you crush it with a tank, they're doomed. Greenland is not recommended for easy gameplay, because they will probably be crushed by Bluegaria within 10 turns. I played as Bluegaria, but it might be more interesting to play as Reds or Violets.

380066 as Bluegaria. Signing a pact with Violetnam is genius! I conquered Green and then it was Bluegaria+Violetnam vs Redosia. Violetnam conquered Redosia, and then i attacked Violetnam and annexed the island at the bottom. Violetnam attacked the island, but i repelled them easily. I conquered the mainland, and then easily conquered Violetnam.

210519 as Bluegaria. Signed a pact with Green, prepared 3 tanks in case they betrayed me, and they did betray me. But i was horribly wrong on my calculations. Purple conquered Red, and nearly took Novosibirsk (my only city that could give me supplies to the south), and together with Green, they took my cities in the South-West. Luckily, i managed to get all 3 of my tanks on land, with the loss of only one tank, and conquered Green. I took Red's former capital, then purple's capital, and won the game.

battle strategy: play map 099900 become red you have an advantage because your surrounded by water and sigh a pact with purple wait until they take a lot of land will you near to them and betray them then you got a great piece of land and your protected in that island when your red then go for the green and slowly up to red then total victory guarantee
( did it on normal and hard )

41534. As Bluegaria.
1. Green near Purple's capital, and Green already conquered the bottom half of the map
2. Purple near Red's capital
3. Me being invaded by Green and red at the same time, and would've conquered me if it weren't for my artilleries and defensive tactics.
4. Two ways to conquer Green. One is blocked, and the other one is empty, and had a tank waiting at the capital.
Strategies: Ignore red attacking me, but put shield so they can't take my cities. Focus on green so that they can't conquer Purple. This may cause you to being 4 hexes away from defeat, but it pays off eventually. Once you conquer Green, purple would conquer red, and then wage war on the southern parts to get their capital.

Map 865358 as Bluegaria. Sign a pact with Greenland. Between their two capitals are basically empty, so if you sign a pact with Greenland, they would leave it empty. Move your troops around so that Greenland can't get a lot of land, but make sure that they're not surrounded by Bluegaria, so that they can help you against Violets once they conquered Reds. Green will betray you, but you can take their kingdom easily.
After that, fight against Violets in the north to take their towns, but then sneak on the south and take their capital, freeing the Reds, and after that, reds would be easily conquered.
That's my strategy as the Blues.

Greens are treacherous I offer them peace but they decide they want to be mushed like ants... never liked them anyway :)

I think what this game did was prove that games involving conquering other countries doesn't have to be complicated to be enjoyable.

The War has raged for 279 turns the Enemy with their Capital surrounded. My defenses held with 5 tanks deep across the map. My Capital surrounded with 30 tanks. The Enemy had 5 towns left vs. my 20. My tanks thundered across The Enemies homeland. Blitzkrieg has BEGUN. Peace has been restored under my reign as Emperor of Bluegardia (Russian accent)

I like to place my troops all around the enemy's capital so when they attack one of my troops, I can just send the others in and conquer them easily.

No new games on Kong that interest me? Well, time for another round of Hex Empire!! I continue to return to this game, it's simple and brilliant. I so much wish for a free and further refined hex empire 4 ! :D

Love how this game requires strategic thinking. For example, to successfully invade a country by land or sea you need a good staging point. Else that tank division you sent in won't have backup

How to (maybe) win: pick red and watch all AI come after you
How to (surely) lose: don't pick red and watch all AI come after you

Shame HE3 turned out to be pay2play and basically civ5 with only combat and happiness. The dev's just haven't learned we want exactly this with bigger maps, smarter AI options, and map customization.

Certainly a 5-star game, a great strategy skill needed to win. Animations please. Larger maps. More people. More. More Hex Empire!

Hex Empire 3 hasn't been developed because nobody is funding it on Kickstarter. Help the man out and maybe we'll get a new one!
