COPY OF voron2000 BECAUSE IT IS FUN: 262630: Very interesting map with three separate continents, as well as a small island. Redosia and Violetnam share a continent. Interesting game, not much of a challenge but highly entertaining, play this if you like amphibious assaults and general naval warfare.

the problem of this game is, the balance is bad. your force is mainly depends on the amount of your troops, that strategy make not enough difference to change this. amount of troops depends on the number of cities you own. so choosing a country with most city around can easily be the winner

I really love the fast paced and difficult gameplay of this game. Even losing felt fine because I was able to immediately jump back in and try something new on a new map. And the game is difficult enough on normal mode that I'm not just constantly steamrolling the AI, but it's also easy enough so that I don't feel like I'M getting steamrolled all the time. I love this game.

I agree with Grandemperor15. Losing your main capitol should be game changing. But it shouldn't necessarily mean gameover. Losing your main capitol should wipe out all of your moral, or at least all most all of it. Your troop production should also be halved or something. A bit more realistic, but their way just ends the game faster.

grandemperor15: After fighting a long war, when the enemy captures the capital, the heart of your country's power, people will lose their will to fight.

In war, an enemy capital can be captured but the armies keep fighting, so it should not end the game once your capital is captured

How is no one complaining about the contradictory instructions? They tell you that the army with the most manpower will always win, but time and time again I find myself losing battles regardless.

Tips: take and sustain the territory whenever you can, it reinforces your army and most importantly lowers your's enemies armies
Use that peace with enemies not on your direct line of conquest
Conquer ports, they distribute their manpower to other cities and can effectively make your army way stronger then the enemies
Distribute soldiers in choke points so you can quickly retake lost land, land also make soldiers
Use spartan tactics, close the gaps with 99/99 armies
Use persian tactics, throw little armies so the enemy get late to your cities, allowing you to reinforce it and unalowing him to reinforce
Guerrilla your way into a stronger enemy, spreading soldiers 1/2 turns away from most of his unguarded cities, in low-importance territories. in 1 turn you can paint half of the map your colour
