Wait... Actually there are 1,000,001 maps. Put an empty string as the map number and prepare for something, well, a little different.

The game is wrong: there are 1,000,000 maps (0 - 999,999), not 999,999 maps :). But seriously, this game is really fun and I just can't stop playing it.

If only the AI was a bit smarter. When enemy forces are closing in on their capital, they choose to keep attacking rather than withdraw troops and save their capital. LOL

Me and my brother would take turns playing this, now we have both grown up for the most part and he is still the tactical prodigy he grew up as

It would be good to have a bigger map, with some more players, and mountains. May seem just like the other hex empire but the new hex empire is boring.

1: Sign a pact with someone who poses an immediate threat.
2: Surround that country with your territory so they can't get through.
3:You have now eliminated one enemy and will not need to worry about him soon.

I want to defeat Bluegaria! *signs pact with Greenland so that I can bypass them, get some boats, and sail to Bluegaria*
*Greenland plops superarmy onto the port*
-_-

Calllack... Try map 969710 Hard Red using my strategy,(took me 56 moves 1st try), and you'll see what i mean. pay attention to your morale. Always attack a greater army if you have greater morale. Adding and subtracting. You need to know when to stop protecting your capital and start fn up the other two.

Calllack::: Endgame is critical! Pay attention to who is closest to you're capitol then send your biggest armies against their biggest. Protect your capitol at all costs. Eventually you'll wear then down, 2 against you is no match if you play this game.

Also Calllack:: Speech is critical at the right time, usually in the beginning after you've amassed a size-able army.

You should be able to tell if yuove won a hard map within the first 9 moves.
So dont Waste your time Calllack. Although map 277947 Hard Green took me 76 moves to win. It was like 25 moves til i could begin to tell I was going to win, lol.

To Calllack ::: Go for cities first ports second or better yet whichever is closest. Cities for expansion, ports for growth. Dont get too many cities at first. Block off your nearest enemy then go capture everything in the closest other direction. THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT!!!!.... After you expand in the other direction a bit come back and destroy your closest enemy while blocking the others. Works on most hard maps....... Except the ones I play.

I challenge anyone to beat 277947 on hard as green. Absolutely impossible. I want a screen shot. Only map i could never beat.

Interesting map: Map Nr. 643905 Hard, Violetnam, 40 turns, no allegiance (none accepted), Greenland, Bluegaria, Redosia. Went for center of map, cities, resources, aggressive/reckless on Greenland.

Tip for allegiances: if you control more tiles they'll usually accept so one can try for early allegiances after a few turns if the geography allows it (I'm still unsure how water is counted).

Heh, I just signed a pact with the enemy kingdom who was about to be annihilated next turn. He broke it immediately, and I promptly crushed him. If anyone wants a challenge, Map no. 619868 in less than 50 turns. Choose the difficulty best for you, but I did it on normal.

MiguelSama: Yeah, it would have been nice to see more out of HE3. Pray for an HE4 which is like we wanted HE2 to be! :P Oh, and by the way, I'm not surprised you beat me because I really am not that good at this game XD

Calllack: I just did that in 24 turns. For some people better than me they probably can get to under 20.
Nice game btw, simple, challenging sometimes. I got really disappointed with the launch of Hex Empire 3 :\ I just wanted some more of Hex Empire 1.

Still enjoy this game.
I can't say there is really any point to winning though. Either some start or a arbitrary reward system will at least make me think it's worthwhile winning.

Will there be a Hex Empire 4 that is more similar to this with bigger maps? I think we can all just erase the existence of Hex Empire 3 from our memories.
