Wtf, how are you guys playing that? That's some rage inducing AI. Every time I get ganged up on on medium difficulty. I never had such trouble with a strategy game before. The "allied" AI player doesn't even go for free towns, but puts all effort into backstabbing me. The AI rarely fight among themselves. After a battle in beginning that I thought I won(territory wise) I noticed that my enemy has 2 tanks in backup while I used up all my units, how is that possible if I have more towns and territory?

blonk80, yup you are correct. Blue agreed to alliance! I don't ever try for alliances anymore as on Hard they usually get turned down and secondly it makes it more challenging. Great little game isn't it. Happy Hexing

No, was on hard & just did it again. Moved north on move 1, then occupied Glasgow, sought alliance (and got), then occupied Bissau on m2.

blonk80, if you were playing on hard then blue would not have taken out red and its very unlikely blue would have signed an alliance, think you were playing on 'medium'

Did 93391 as green on hard - alliance with blue, concentrate on conquering violet, blue took out red, then took red from blue while building up to attack blue capital. But interesting - thanks for suggestion.

If you are a very experienced player you might enjoy the challenge of 93391 as Green. Countless attempts before winning and took over an hour. If you use this game as a wind down after work as I do then probably skip it!!!

@Tookey76 if you are on Chrome, Flash should be in its most updated version already. Click the lock beside "kongregate.com/games/uunxx ..." at the address bar and set Flash to "allow".

This is a badly designed game. On hard mode it makes every enemy try to fight you instead of turning on theirselves. wtf it's like 2 vs 1 and that's not fair at all.

Try 971916 on hard Red without signing a pact or giving a speech. There are no ports on the left side of the map. You must find a quick way to capture Violetnam while defending your base, reinforce and counter-attack. If you won´t, you will stay locked on your peninsula and will be defeated. Took me 44 turns.

@Generalfletch: Send your first army to your north harbour, then go NE and conquer some cities / harbours there. At the same time, take the second city and the second harbour. Send some weak navies north to slow down Red. From the NE cities, wait for a good moment, then rush the Red capital. Clean the rest of the map.

questionableyoyo, stick with, it is a good game and is just perfect for a brew and a wind down after work (unsure of your age). You will be playing on 'Hard' with no alliances very soon :)

I've been playing this game for years. It's pretty relaxing. Simple, a little bit of math. More like a puzzle then war game. I try to select the lowest resources to make it more challenging and sometime try to defeat all my opponents by destroying all the capitals on the last turn. I'd love to see an update.

571522 2 islands both having 2 countries...
876363 each country has an island of it's own, differing in size
993119 hard time for blue
359270 also 2 islands with 2 countries each but now there's more water.
301047 no way to directly attack but there's no defense against you making an battle fleet.
