I just got the hard badge and want to help some people going for it as well. The very easiest way is to get 3 stars on every level on both packs. Then go back and it's fairly easy to get 3+ stars on levels, 1-3, 1-6, 1-20. And then on levels 2-3,2-8,2-9, 2-11, 2-13, 2-17, 2-20. Remember that on a lot of these, getting under par means breaking wooden blocks with 1 shot. Do this by shooting it at an angle where it will hit the wooden block, bouce off something else, then hit the block again. That way you break a block in 1 shot instead of 2. There is a plus sign for a reason. + to make the hard badge much quicker and less frustrating for everyone. :) Also, rating this game brought me to exactly 9000 points. Ha.

Unfortunately, the + is only worth 1 star, no matter how many shots below par you end up at. 2-11 can be done in only three shots, but I only got one extra star for my trouble. This is the list of levels I've finished with a +: 1-2, 1-3, 1-6, 1-8, 1-9, 1-10, 1-12, 2-1, 2-3, 2-4, 2-9, 2-11, 2-13. One of the tricks is to bounce the ball off the wood block so that it destroys the block in one shot instead of two. Other than that, most of the tricks involve hitting two blocks at the same time or directly after one another.

In Stage one it is possible to get 4 Stars in 2,3,6,8,9,10,12,20 and in Stage 2 in 1,3,4,8,9,10,11,12,13,18,20. So when you hit them all, you don't have to finish all levels for the hard badge ;) Truly, some need many tries :)

For those of you trying to get 130 stars, you have plenty of options. I've been able to get 4 stars on these levels: Pack 1 - levels 2, 3, 6, 8, 9, 10, 12, 13, and 20. Pack 2 - levels 1, 3, 4, 8, 9, 10, 11, 13, 18, 20. I think it's also possible to get 4 stars on level 2-12, but I'm still working on it.

I found extra starts on the levels : 2,3,6,7,8 and 12 of the first pack and on the levels 1, 3, 9, 11 on the second pack, one good trick to get these is trying to break some wood blocks using only one ball throwing the ball in order to bounce with another material in front of the wood block.

The hard badge is doable, but you need to know that being under the par grant 4 star instead of 3 (yes the + is a star). You can be under the par in world 1 level 2;3;6;10;12 And World 2 level 9;11;12;17;18. Good luck badge hunter !

I went under par on Section 1: 2, 3, 6, 8, 9, 10, 12, 13, 16, 20; Section 2: 1, 3, 4, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 17, 18, 20. It may be possible on some others if you're very lucky(or spend an hour shooting randomly and resetting after every shot)

Do not buy a hint. It costs THREE STARS, and you'll have to get under-par on thirteen levels instead of just ten. "+" to warn people!

A couple of tricks for people going for the hard badge. First, play the entire game through without aiming to get all the stars. This should give you some idea of the easiest places to improve. I was able to complete all the levels apart from 2-14 with three stars or better without much effort, so any of the others not in three stars should be easy enough to beat. After you manage that, start playing from the beginning again. Hopefully you remember how each level is beaten. Now look for places where you can reduce the number of shots with the following two exploits. You can damage two blocks at once if you hit right where the two boxes meet, and you can destroy a box in one shot if you shoot the box in such a way that the shot rebounds off a wall back at the block afterwards. Ones I managed in less than Par:1-2,3,6,8,9,10,12. 2-8,9,13,19. There are probably more too.

Master Aim wrote a great guide to helping track down those last couple stars you need for the hard badge and I decided to write this comment to expand upon it. If you're missing stars, try getting under par on World 1: 2, 3, 8, 9, 10, 12, & 13. For World 2: 3, 9, 11, 12, 17, 18, & 20. Every level is different, but typically, if a wood block is next to a concrete block, you can adjust the camera angle so that it bounces off the wood, hits the conc, then breaks the wood. For other levels, sometimes firing 2 shots rapidly gives more momentum than waiting between shots. Some levels require hitting the spot where 2 woodblocks are connected to save shots. Had a great time playing this, hope this helps some people, and thanks again Master Aim for helping me get the hard badge :).

To get the hard badge you need to get 3 stars on all 40 levels and 10 of the levels must be 3-stars-plus. To get a 3-star-plus rating you must get Toshi to her platform in fewer than the par score. The levels where I was able to get 3-star-plus were on the second pack, levels 3, 4, 8, 9, 11, 12, 13, 17, 19, 20. Those aren't necessarily the only possible ones, just the ones that worked for me. + if this helped you.

For hard badge, extra stars fairly easy on levels 1:3,6,8,9,10,12,20 and levels 2: 3,4,8,12,13. If you get these, you don't need to worry about a 3 star score on 2:1, which is pretty tough.

Easy levels with 4 stars that gave me 130 at end.
1-2, 1-3, 1-6, 1-8, 1-9, 1-10, 1-12, 1-13, 2-3, 2-4, 2-8, 2-9, 2-10, 2-11, 2-12, 2-13, 2-17, 2-18, 2-20.
There are probably more but those gave me 130+ stars, with 3 stars in all other levels of course.
Also if you use hints your star count goes down so dont use them.

Desperately needs a reset data button if amount of stars is going to have a badge. I made the mistake of buying a few hints (was curious about it, lol)... since there's no way to get them back the badge can become impossible. >_> I deleted my local save file so I had no problems, but still...

For the ones who can't get the hard badge, these are the levels I got triple star +: 1.3 1.7 1.8 1.10 1.20 2.1 2.3 2.8 2.9 and 2.11. I'm sure there are more possible levels, but these are mine. And I'm not going to ask you to vote this up so that others can see it as well... :D

Okay, levels that you can get an extra point on: 2,3,6-10,12,13,23,24,28-33,37,38,40 (for a grand total of 140 points).
Someone else said that they got an extra point on 21, and 20 could potentially provide one as well, though I wasn't able to do it. The same goes for 14-16 (though there are good reasons why those should take two hits).
This, by the way, means that the hard badge isn't really impossible so long as you take fewer than 4 hints. Maybe I didn't have to delete my save data (though I'm glad that I did).
(To fill in anyone who's confused, extra points are obtained by finishing a level under par.)

In order to get the hard badge you need to get 4 stars on 10 of the levels as well as 3 stars on all of the others. The 10 easiest 4 star levels I found were in section 1, levels 8,10, and 12. And in section 2 levels 3,4,8,9,11,13, and 18. To beat par in these levels you usually have to either push a stone block with one shot or shoot multiple wood blocks with one shot (or shoot one wood block twice).

For the hard badge, you need to complete all the levels, with ten of them at less than the par score. One way of doing that is to hit the join of two wood blocks, which cracks both of them and saves you a shot. Another is that sometimes, if you fire into a wood block at a very oblique angle, your ball will crack it, bounce off some other part of the level and hit the block again to break it. To save on hunting through levels where the par score is one or two and can't possibly be improved on, here are the levels where I beat par: 1-3, 1-6, 1-20, 2-3, 2-8, 2-9, 2-11, 2-12, 2-13, 2-17. There are probably others, too. Some of these levels can be done two shots below par but you don't get any extra credit for that. I hope that's helpful for people who're looking for the hard badge.

There may be others but the levels I found 3star+ on were
World1: 2,3,6,8,9,10,12,20 and World2: 1,3,8,9,11,13,17
On more than one of these it's possible to bounce the ball between a wooden block and another block effectively taking out the wooden block in 1 shot. Hope this helps ;-)

For the hard badge, try to finish the level in one or more less shots than required for 3 stars. you will get a 3star+ rating and that adds another star to your account. The levels I got 3star+ rating are 1-2, 1-3, 1-6, 1-7, 1-8, 1-9, 1-10, 2-3, 2-9, 2-11. Also remember wood takes one shot to break completely (make the shot such that ball hits wood and then rebounds back on the wood)

to get the hard badge like said before you need to get bonus stars you can get said bonus stars in world 1 stages 2, 3, 6, 8, 9, 10, 12, 13, 20, world 2 stages 1, 3, 4, 8, 10, 11 12, 13, 17, 18, 19, 20.

OK, never mind there are a ton of levels you can do under par, and at least one you can do 4 under par. I got the badge on 2:18. Most important strategy is hitting wooden blocks with balls that bounce back off a wall into the same block.

For the hard badge: 1. use NO hints. 2. Most "under pars" can be relatively easy to get by either breaking multiple wooden blocks at the joins, or by destroying 1 in 1 shot by shooting it such that it bounces off a wall afterwards and back onto the block. I managed 18 unders in total. You only need 10.

IF you're going for 130 stars, do NOT use any hints, as they will prevent you from obtaining 130 without buying levels from the App Store. Tip: 10 levels (at least?) can be done under par for a 3+ rating. :P
