A very good game, just the right difficulty as a bullet hell game. I really enjoy it, but could you possibly add more "specials"? As in more then just that little shield. Other then that, it's amazing, though.

not very interesting. doesnt the variety of guns you expect from games like this, doesnt do anything new :/ still, decently fun, great music 3/5

5/5 - although, a single complaint: too much stuff is happening on-screen. Eye-candy, yes, but confusing. Maybe removing money as pickups (just award them directly) would solve this issue.

while I liked the play control I did not like the fact the the bullets spin just like the coins and are the same shape as the coins I could have avoided a lot more bullets if I didn't think they were coins

Game would be, in my opinon, better without lives shared across levels. Alternatively, without ability to replay levels for cash/lives, or without upgrades. As it stands, it only encourages mindless grinding early levels untill you can max your ship and lives to have chance/easier time on harder levels.

I stopped playing after 15 seconds - the sounds were mildly interesting, but far louder than I wanted. Thanks for the autofire, such as it is, but I couldn't tolerate hearing my eardrums assaulted and it became extremely boring without sound.

Just a general bullet hell game comment. The bosses need to be invincible when entering the screen. I shouldn't be able to reduce half of the bosses life before it even sets up and begins the pattern.

love the game, just a small complaint though, i had everything maxed out about 50% of the way through and i couldnt tell what was happening on the screen by then, maybee add an upgrade for damage for the lazers? and possible an option to make MY bullets invisible or at least clear

I haven't played the original, but this is a very well done game! I can feel how well planned every single enemy, and bullet was placed. Most Shooters here don't feel as tight and controlled as this. Lots of tiny but noticeable areas where you can stay safe for a few seconds, pretty much how most traditional bullet hell games are. You guys are doing a great job (even if the effects and explosions are a bit much), Keep up the damn good work!

It's an okay game, but there are three problems. (1) Visbility is rather poor when the fighting gets hectic, and this is impacting gameplay. (2) It feels like the guns and magnet don't upgrade high enough. (3) The universal convention for pausing a game in progress is ESCAPE and/or P, not SPACEBAR. 3/5

As long as you don't approach this as if it were a bullet hell, it is a great game. It did irritate me that my ship was larger than one pixel, but I got used to it.

This game easily earned a rating of 4/5 in my books(I rate hard, what can I say, I'm a critic), mag67's has it right on, developers, this is what a good retro shooter looks like. With elements of Galaga (the ultimate retro shooter!) and a little modern touch it's almost perfect.

The royal army is ready to fight this evil army of aliens in the final battle for the universe *a guy in a little ship comes* relax, I got this

My two major complaints: No money sink (once you max everything, money is only used to lag the game and distract you from shots); medals and save disappear as soon as you complete the game. Other points to consider but these two are waay bigger annoyances so I'll just write them.

I have a pretty high end computer, can play most games on the highest settings and never see a spot of lag. This? This lags me up. It would be nice if we could turn off the blurring effect or something to reduce lag.
yeah, lag was a real worry - I probably should have included some options to turn off gfx features - at the time I was thinking that the blur-fx where an 'essential' element to create the 'atmosphere' of the game, but in the end if it makes the game unplayable it would have been best to be able to just switch it off.

Nice little game. Graphics and control are all good. Too bad this doesnt take any skill to play: Money is plentiful, so you´re not really saving for upgrades, you just buy them; it´s impossible to actually dodge anything with so much on the screen, which again isn´t important, since you have so much life it doesnt really matter. 3/5

i think the magnet is too weak and can be changed. i also think there should be missles that split into tiny missle and sould have tiny helpers like tiny ships that help me in battle.

I hate that you have to relaunch the game every time you fail a level. Great game otherwise, but that ruined it for me.

I just benchmarked the difficulty of the game: I managed to finish the first 4 levels without moving my ship, without pressing a single button. This should be looked at and fixed. A super minor amount of bullets actually reach the spawning area.

Why have a limit on lives before a game over, when all that means is that you go to the main menu and lose no progress? Not that I think you should, but if not, then why not reset number of lives at the start of every level?
