Tip for new players; If any normal (not boss) kinda "mage" summons a creature, kill the mage and the creature disappears. Just kill the creature if u want the XP.
For such a small game its above average so it gets corresponding rating from me in spite of the bugs i encountered (i dont bother rep. since its abaout 7 yo now).

To those who do not understand. Vulnerability means you are more vulnerable to damage (10% means 10% more damage to you). So the Foolish items give you a big damage boost but also make you a lot more vulnerable. Keep that in mind before choosing certain equipment.

...I'm a mage. the first ally i got was a rogue (bow. archer.) then. when i got my 2nd, it was anther mage. i'm fine with that, but it is kind of annoying since i have all of this warrior stuff and no warior yet. maybe make it where your 3rd ally makes it where you have all 3 classes then the 4th can be a repeat.

I'm seeing Vulnerability +x% on a piece of gear. By the name, it looks like this might be a penalty rather than a bonus, but I can't see a description.
Yes, as is explained by the dialogue outside of the neverending areas, THEY ARE NEVERENDING. I made them specifically for people who wanted to grind their character up and search for extra loot. As long as you're heading north you will find new enemies. Head south at any time to leave.

Great game, an improvement on the first game in almost every way. The only problem is the magical attack, lotv had a bolt of glowing green energy, which I loved the look of, whereas the mages in this game fire a glowing projectile gumball. But that aside, brilliant game, inspiring!

Wow, this game must have some seriously hardcore fans. I mean, a constructive comment by Yahi is down 2 simply because it pointed out something he/she thought could be improved. It seems like most comments that don't give the game heaps of praises and a 5/5 at the end are immediately down voted, which rather destroys the point of the comment system.

This is a pretty cool and long game, bastard took me all day to complete; I had other stuff planned, too! Oh well, I'll do it tomorrow, I guess.
Keep up the good work, eager to see Chapter 3!
Ah, before I forget, here's a few suggestions. Maybe add a Realistic mode where you don't get fully healed between battles? I mean, I had almost 200 potions by the end of the game, and I never actually used the mage's healing spell. Also, still with the Realistic Mode. Why not make it so you can't burn fire-element monsters (like Lava Golems), poison the undead (or golems, or anything that isn't really alive and weak to poison), and stun golems by kicking them in the face?
Finally, I've managed to both burn AND freeze multiple enemies, so why not, in the Realistic Mode, make it so using fire attacks melt away and ice and vice-versa?
The Realistic Mode would add so much strategy and depth to the game, I'm sure many (wannabe) hardcore gamers would like it.

Game was amazing but one thing that would have been amazing would be Elemental Weaknesses like Water beats Fire, Fire beats Earth, Earth beats Water, etc. Other than that amazing game

Alyss' -30% damage debuff
Your necromancy skeleton warriors' -50% damage debuff
And your level 9 skill sub zero -40% damage debuff combined enemy can't hit you :) Nice combo, And even if enemy uses 50% damage bonus They hit 3/10 (30%) of their main damage.

Who needs armor-piercing bullets when you have an armor-penetrating twig? I mean, this way, you can really.. stick it to them! ... I'll go plank myself back down in my corner now :X

I love the battle controls! I've played other turn based rpg's where you are clicking back and forth between menus which is very annoying to me. This system is nice, I click on who I want to attack and use the keyboard for other stuff, the way it should. Don't know why so many devs don't see that you have an ENTIRE keyboard at their disposal which makes the game experience less of a chore and fluid feeling. Hope I finish this one! But very nice work done here! Thank you!

I was so happy to see this! No problem at all paying that little bit for the extra content, I loved that you listened to suggestions for the first game and this one is fab, keep up the great work!

Awesome game. There is a weird bug though where the combat will go at half speed. Only solution I've found is to reload the game.

5/5, 10/10 brilliant game! if you asked me what is wrong with the game, it would most likely take me 10 mins, (if i find something bad) at least to find something bad! you should definitly keep on making games like this, and will there be a sequel? altho there is one thing a have a question about: how do you block LIGHTNING bolts??

good game, would be nice if boss level mobs didnt drop junk level items. maybe some control or respec for your companions would be nice. and in the endless area, some boss like fight every 10 levels with a portal to restart at the previous point would be cool too.

This time a woman accompanies the hero not like the fat beard man in the first part. Apart from that the game is still the excellent game we already know.

Helpful hint: Do the quest for the guy who wants his gems from the Griffonwald bandits. Then go and kill the last guy, after that, go down and out of the cave, then to the right there's the Griffonwald meteor, down are two puzzles. the second puzzle it top left, bottom mid, top right, then the bottom left, top mid, and bottom left. I forgot the first puzzle, but it's fairly easy. The second puzzle leads you into the Void to a shop guy who has above average stuff for sale, you'll never find anyone or anything with better stuff. Unless it's a random drop, those can kick ass sometimes.

Is there a way to personally build our companions? I mean them building themselves is fine. Not sure I can build them myself. But I'm just saying. Still a 5/5
