I'll be adding a respecialization feature soon, along with the other major updates. Just hold tight and perhaps try a different class for now?

Under rating threshold (show) Resists and blocks are still way too high, at least at such low levels. It makes the battles more or less revolve around luck, rather than skill, strategy and character builds.

Problem is that if resists are too low then you auto-win every battle because you go first and stun them before they get a turn. All battles should be winnable unless you have extremely bad luck, even if you get stunned repeatedly. The only exceptions are boss fights where sometimes they may just stomp you out quick. But as an example, in my latest play I was a necro mage on the final battle and we got earthquaked/infernod/stormed twice each and still pulled a tough victory. IMO that's how a final battle should be :) Either way though, I'll continue to take feedback and test different ways to balance the game as fairly as possible. What class/tree are you using by the way?

Yeah it's a great way to connect with the people who really enjoy what you create. My hope is that the people who really love LOTV and want more will join up to be beta testers or contributors in other ways. "Hive mind" game design :)

Try reloading the game, I've reduced both stun time and the difficulty of the final boss battle. Due to an error during another update it was ridiculously hard!

Under rating threshold (show) hmm skeletons can bleed?? and giving some money or extra skill points for gaining achievements would be nice :D further 4/5 because gameplay is to slow, in my opinion it would be better with higher walking speed

Higher walk speed on the way! Skeletons bleed... marrow? Skele-goo? Also if the battles seem to slow its possible you need to lower your graphical quality. Other than that it's as fast as a turn based rpg can be!

Under rating threshold (show) pure agi rogue (i put 2 points to str to wear 14 str armor) does ~150 dmg per hit in lategame - no need for high str armors you just 1 or 2 hit everything including final bosses

Under rating threshold (show) Maybe a bug? Sometimes when casting Inferno enemies will drop to 0 health but keep fighting until hit again. Not sure if it happens with other spells as well. Great game, by the way!

Under rating threshold (show) oh,there is another thing significant,that is while you decide to activated the monster respawn setting,you should meanwhile add a "skip" option which can let players able to skip the battle while they are facing the enemies which they had have already defeated.why the add is significant,because over half of your monster are setted in the key points of roads.after you added the respawn setting,if they can not skip a battle which they had have already did,then it will be very uncomfortable to all players,because when they want to go a place,and needs to cross several maps which they had have already cleared but respawned again,then they have to do a lot of same battles which they had been did and don't want to do again.so,it will be waste of time.the skip button should available before players confront enemies in battle.it should appeared upon the enemies(which players already defeated) in the road map.

Are you referring to the final battle? If yes, then it was broken, please refresh and give it another try :) If no, then what are you referring to? Your stuns will always be 1 turn longer than theirs due to how the engine works.

Under rating threshold (show) Is the fight against Arch-mage Gazzen and Blaek, Lord of the Void possible to win? After the first round they stun me and afterwards wipe my whole team out. And for me it is not possible to stun them...

Since you're fighting them I assume you've been playing for a while. An earlier version of the game had the final battle broken and insanely hard, should be better now :)

Under rating threshold (show) This might just be me, but enervate doesn't seem to work. I don't notice enemy stamina or mana going down at all when I use it. I didn't see the "resisted" when this happened either (though the ability does seem to get resisted most of the time at well)

Yeah they are very powerful, hence the seemingly high resistances :P Risk vs reward I suppose. Either way I am constantly working on balance and dropping stuns to shorter lengths is one of the things I'll be experimenting with. Thanks for the feedback!

Under rating threshold (show) I think why people want grinding is that 3 stat points per level is a bit too low. each class has to focus on their main stat just to get gear. This leaves little or no points for willpower/constitution. I suggest maybe all stats get +1 per level in addition to the 3 assignable points. I think the lack of hit points makes it hard to progress if you have to focus solely on damage. Great game. Keep up with the updates.

I hear ya, it's been really hard striking a balance between challenging/overly easy/insanely difficult for me. I think it may come down to more the individual skills and their effectiveness rather than stats. Warriors seem to be having it pretty easy, and some mage builds as well, but others it's just super hard to get going. I'll work on adding a respec option soon so people can alter their styles as they see fit. And I'll consider re-working the level/stat system to give people more to play around with :)

Under rating threshold (show) should add a arrow or other signal to tell you the direction of the quest(while you are selected some certain quest) ,and it should be show up in the maps.there should have at least 2 maps.1 is the one which already have,and another is a map which contain bigger area.

Focus down Mazar first, I just released another update so resistances shouldnt be as high and you could have a chance of stunning/freezing him, and he'll have less a chance of doing the same to you.

The enemies auto-level with you so grinding wouldn't really help much :P Balance is something I'm working on non-stop and only having really 1 other solid tester has made it really hard to get things balanced nicely for all classes. Let me know exactly what you're having trouble with, what seems UP/OP, and I'll do my absolute best to balance it.

I'll try and work on a better drop algorithm, right now it cares not what class you are, it just gives a random drop near your current level. I'll make it so the chances of it being a relevant drop are higher.

Rise up! Third battle's not that hard! I have the statistics sitting right in front of me :P My biggest piece of advice is to focus down the weakest or elites first, don't spread your damage around :)

Thanks, I really made this for people who enjoyed the old Flash classics Sonny/Sinjid. I always thought they fit the casual Flash gametype really well and they also developed a sort of following. Under rating threshold (show) There is one thing I miss from every RPG and that is that little realism in the game that noone should be able to fight as well with only 1 HP as it was able to with full HP, cmon its even better if you give us that little help that enemys with 1 HP get an extra damage just to die :)

Impossible. All was custom created in Photoshop. Sure, weapons/armor were influenced by existing styles, but it's all hand made :) Maybe you saw a screenshot I posted when looking for beta testers?

Under rating threshold (show) Completed this game as a warrior, never died. I always picked passive skills with the exception of windmill and another skill. Great RPG. Not too hard (atleast as a warrior) and not too easy at the same time :)

Under rating threshold (show) Another idea with the shops, it would be good if there was some sort of comparison pop-up when you mouse over items in the shops. If you cant do this though at least something like an 'equipped' option in the drop down list so you can compare what you have with what youre buying easier.

Under rating threshold (show) this game is WAY too hard. im losing in the first couple of battles, and yes im competently playing my class. there aren't enough potions, the crap on the beach is dropping equipment that isn't even for my class, and my only hope - the new skills I just learned - get resisted and my attacks get blocked more often than not. I'm not going to play "reset the game till you get lucky and win" its just not worth it, its just a game

Under rating threshold (show) A few quick notes: -The first and second merchants after the blockade don't work and make you have to reset the game. -There needs to be a way for you to redistribute skill points. -All of the abilities that cause an effect fail 90% of the time. it makes it worthless to even use them. - The mage's creatures suck. The skeleton dies way too fast and the demon thing has the same amount of health as the spirit while costing nearly twice as much mana and doing roughly the same amount of damage. -For all of the rogue gear that I'm finding, there had damn well better be a rogue ally that I get later. -Is there even a point to the money? I doubt I'll ever spend any of it. - I got to a point where a had killed everything up to the point that I was at and had picked up all of the loot up to that point, but I was still getting 2 shotted. Ridiculous. Sorry for being so critical but I feel like I just wasted a good 2 hours of my life.

Shop bug should be fixed now. I'm working on an update now that will decrease resistances. Sell that rogue gear and buy stuff in the newly reopened shops :P Thanks for the feedback though!
