Good game. However, at the very end the game does something funny...it takes me back to the start and the ship is stuck in the very top..
Did you not program it to go back to the start screen?
Oh and did anyone notice that the captain pulled a Master Chief? Floating in space in a pod?

In the conclusion: the "Annihilator" disrupts the circuitry in the captain's NASA built 'XBox 3600' escape pod. A glowing red ring, the only remnant of the heroic act.

Adding a story to this type of game is an interesting idea. Unfortunately, the simplistic gameplay doesn't fit the storyline at all. A bit more thought and effort could have made this a great game.

After you complete the game, you can start mission 1 again with your upgraded ship... but game crashes when the ship is returning =/

While the we're still using the same shuttle from the 60s but we can build a forcefield for it really made me laugh I have to say I liked that this had the real feel of piloting what many call "the flying brick." I've never heard a good thing about how a space shuttle handles, so the sluggish response time even with mobility halfway filled up was a nice change.

i have never ran out of hull integrity for the ship, so forcefield is trash to me. i rather have an extra thruster or extra fuel instead of fancy-lookin forcefield

returning to base=
crashing into base at over 5000 metres per second emmiting a huge explosion that has the power of approximately 10 atomic bombs and wiping out all life in the US

hates to point out that with 2 SRB's like that the shuttle would have no problems getting into orbit. And unless it was life threatening theres no way in hell they'd launch into a meteor shower.

at the end of the game you can play again, but when you get to the top and run out of fuel it glitches are your stuck with a frozen screen, otherwise great game.

Great story and this asteroid called Apophis is real! It will come near us at 2026 but will miss us. it will come so close that it will come closer than the ring of sats. that orbit us. It will come back at 2036 on April 13th and it has a 1 of a bill chance of hitting earth in the pacific ocean.

Current mission: reach 12,000m and my current high is 12,009m. I reached my current high just as I finished the mission that was right before the 'reach 12km' mission but it won't count.

Its very unlikely that NASA would send a CPT on a mission of such dire nature. more likely a full bird (COL) or a team, def not a single man rocket, and i will be very impressed if NASA develops a multi stage shuttle rocket that can be one manned :P

I want 3 things. 1, I want to be able to move in more directions then left and right. 2, I want more upgrades, and 3, MAKE THE SHIP SMALLER!!!

Hey guys thanks for the bug reports! I must have screwed something up while doing the final touches thats causing the bug at the end of the game... I'll get a fixed version up asap!

If you are going top use a real asteroid as the antagonist in this game at least get a few facts straight. 1. 99942 Apophis is coming in 2036, not 2012 2. 99942 Apophis is ~300 meters in length, this makes it about the size of the Rose Bowl, a far cry from "the size of Texas" 3. it is highly unlikely that it will hit us. It's all right there in the wiki http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/99942_Apophis
