This might sound weird but I got the hard badge by fighting the leaders. It didn't matter whether I won or lost the battle. Don't know if it's a bug or something.

I wonder how my character keeps 3,000 Medium Heal potions with him into battle and manages not to drop a single one or to break them during combat

For the units they need to make it like the potions, shift + click, otherwise you sit their for ages trying to make up 1 team full of different men.

To get the hard badge: Play as Far East--Sieg and do quests and take over towns (optional) until you get to Nagoya. Don't attempt to take over the capital yet as they will murder you (and also the Far East guillotine skill (shown by the small fire and symbols) is based on armor, take off your armor and it's 0 damage ), and obtain 100 dex, Eclipse and all katana skills. Once this is done, conquer Izumo for the black samurais and first conquer the Desert Capital. Once conquered, purchase 30 stalkers and prepare win every capital from there (they are the best ranged troops) and remember take off armor for Far East capital. To win duels: use the skill guillotine as soon as they get to you, one-hit KO. Hope this helped :)

The champion of the far east capital - that special attack is a one hit kill hit - took me a while to get armour and weapons to vs him allot of grinding

On the next game it would be awesome if you could equip your troops with special weapons. That way when you get like 50 Swords you can use them for something.

i wish i could upgrade my armies along the way as if to train them to be better and not just hope you went to the right town so you could buy better ones

Hard badge - Get the desert male. Get 100 in str and con, buy the top armor in desert. Once that, conquer the main city and get 15 Elite Assassins and 15 Stalkers to conquer the rest of the leaders.

For the hard badge: Choose the forest lands, always use two handed axe, get axe mastery, STR and CON to max, get the final active axe skill to the max (for splash dmg) and the second heal skill (for healing, duh), get a +10 level two handed axe (just keep buying and refining) and get the rare rune that deals damage based on defense. After this just use the best units, get in the middle and start killing:) (BEWARE: REMOVE Armor when fighting the final East Empire town, they can one hit kill you if you have too much/any armor!)

Assassin Chick is the best for the Hard Achievement. You max the crit, then you just stand there hit them and chug pots

anyone else having issues where the far east can do over 3500 damage instantly? got to the last area and i find they can one shot me.

now I'm stuck with 1 rogue trying to kill me but missing constly whyle I'm also missing constantly with my bow and I dont know how too swich weapons. -_-

i accidentally went into a battle without weaponry... this is taking too long... can we get a button to leave battle and cut losses?
