This game was almost revolutionary back when it came out, in 2008, but still holds up now if you can get into it and past some quirks.
Everyone bitching about BOTD needs to keep this is mind.

I wonder where the warrior clad in golden armor who asks me if I'm sure I want to attack his town is when all of his troops are being slaughtered?

I have took few quests, but when I got to one of the towns, nothing happens. Then, another quest ended immediately I entered the town.
Are the quest overwriting themselves? How I can check what actual quest is?

Badge of the day : go north to the big town in the mountains, click try to capture - get hit for 187 and lose. Yeah, quick n easy - but the game itself is ugly and sucks for controls as well as graphics.

I hate random encounters, they are no challenge at all but they take the time, it's really annoying, being attacked 4 times by some weeklings just to make the game longer. I guess it's the purpose because i don't see any other possible.

to get the easy badge: Pick Diana secret assassin of the south desert, pick fight champion of aden 1 on 1, let her kill you.

Kinda wish I could pay to outfit my army with better armor, if only to stop being a walking economy momentarily. When you've focused on one weapon and stat at the start, you can pick up the best equipment for it quickly, so you kind of lose things to throw money at. I almost wish I could just buy some towns.

I rated this game 1 star last time it was badge of the day... it hasn't gotten any better its still absolutely worthless.

I seriously wonder why it seems so many devs have never played their own games. The improvements of multiple select or speed up would seem so obvious.

to get the badge you can't die in one hit. you have to suffer an hit equal or bigger than 100, but you can't die in one hit. you can evolve your fighter and then fight your town champion.

In order to get the easy badge, you have to get hit one time for greater then or equal to 100. Not collective hits, 1 single hit that is at least 100 damage.

the only way to Fight seems to be to declare war on a town... and then it doesnt register the Badge Of The day anyway... pretty much a waste of time.

Impossible to get the easy achievement, damage stats are not collected properly. I did about 20 fights and it never went higher than 51 damage (even though I received about 2000). I also tried getting killed by the town hero more than once

Skip the tutorial, go to Tiflis, click on the brown mosque, try to conquer the town, asdf your character to the middle of their troops, get achievement, and leave
