I like what happens if you try to capture a town that is already yours. "Sire, this town is already ours! We can't kill our own people for nothing!" Your character's response? "... hmm Okay" XD

If you want the medium badge, you have to find a special weapon (blue background). Some of them have a huge damage boost.

PROTIP for the hard badge: You can AVOID FIGHTS!
On the 'prepare for battle...' screen you can avoid the battle by just right-clicking with your mouse and clicking 'back'. tadaa
And even better: The city is then captured!

This gets friggen annoying when you start with like an army of weaklings, can't even kill one strong opponent, until you kill him with a crossbow.

For anyone wanting the Hard badge, here's a tip to make it real easy: Choose the Far East and travel around doing jobs, getting money, and levelling up. Slowly make your way to capturing the villages on your island, then upgrade your equipment. After doing so, amass an army of the best troops you can get. Use quite the bit of money, only 2 lines WILL NOT work. After amassing your army, travel to Echigo and take it over. After that, the hardest part of the game is out of the way. Use the (though expensive) Black Samurai to your advantage, as with them, little to nothing can stop you. (I also recommend 5-7 of the horse soldiers from Grouzeno, as they are fast and have high HP)

when capturing an enemy city, and its hostile (Red) click on a building such as a forge. the battle will not commence and you can capture whenever u want it 2

if you want to go shopping in a place that's considered hostile to you, but you can't beat them, just don't click "okay let's fight", click a store instead.

by far the best weapon in the game is the greek fire, found in Alexandria. it is a ranged explosive, which 1 hits most people.

Pwning 1 city, suddenly half of the map turns red. But I thought they were just some small towns? How could they transfer message THAT fast? :S

So you start in this small village with only a few warriors and basic weapons, and then every time you come back, you sell everything. You probably pumped enough weapons into the market to quarter the price of everything and every man, woman and child has at least at a rusty knife. Good job.

I knew that if I travel with my army, no rogue or bandit would dare attack us, but I was wrong, a two man bandit army ganged us, and we killed them in a second. Bandits are probably drunk.

General comment: Excellent game, once you get a feel for it. 4.5/5
To the developers: 1) Spellcheck is your friend. So is someone to fact-check your item names. Bronze Leather Armor? Really? 2) Give me something to do with my gold. It becomes useless once I have a strong army.
To my fellow players: Start as the forest nation, take over the island with two cities on it, make your army completely out of Great Heroes, and max out Patriotism and Art of War. I conquered all three other nations without losing a single unit.

You really need to put something to sell items faster, like shift+click or something, because after a while you get PILES of junk items and it's really tedious to drag them all.

There must be a terrible lack of mailmen in the land, since they are better paid than people fighting bandits in caves... You can just turn down every quest until you find one that says: "Go an inch to your left and collect 500 gold." And then repeat.

There's something deliciously evil about wiping the floor with a city's defense, taking over, and then selling their troops' equipment back to them.

I think the game became broken, I found a crossbow of death, then equipped it, I didn't even enter battle with it and it gave me the medium badge. I'm not complaining though. :>

Enemy is attacking you... They have 1000 ninjas and deadly samurais... You have only 15 warriors with sword and shield and 5 archers what you will do... Surrender or fight?? FIGHT! Total geniuses...

Guide for medium badge: Make a whole ton of money by doing quests and then buy loads of troops. Put your points into throwing and strength then go down to Alexandria and buy the 'Greek Fire' which deals 200 damage. Beat up some rogues until you get helmets/armour that increase your damage and critical hit, (look for items with blue backgrounds.) Then just lob fire around and you will get 500+ damage... Basically you just need the Greek Fire and items that increase damage. :+)
