Once you capture Grouzeno, the "Home of all heroes", you've essentially won. Just get a few of the rouge killing missions, prefferably at 10000-15000 gp (yes, grouzeno gives those prices for missions), and stock up on Great Heroes (Maybe 20). I've never had to buy another troop and conquered the world. Also, if you fill your first two ranks with Inquisitors (From the north west country, I forget it's name), you will be having them for a VERY long time before they die.

The quickest way to get the second badge is to find a piece of blue equipment with the effect "crushing". This increases max damage by 300 and if you already have 200 damage , you instantly get the badge.

I find it sad that my troops hit two to three times higher than I do. -Shakes fist- Someday I will be worthy of being called commander!

The best way to get the 500 damage achievement is to equip 2 or more items with the "crushing" or "unholy" ability. The "crushing"/"unholy" ability adds 100-300 damage so if you have two equipped then your attacks can do well over 500 damage.

If this keeps up, so long Kongregate. Its not like the entire universe didnt have time to come up with a plan B. White screen of death.

I think the most overpowered ally you can have are the Great Heroes. They do massive damage, have a ton of health, and are super fast. I bought 10 of them, and they lasted me the whole game. Hint: You can find them in Grouzeno.

To get the "Strength of a Warrior Badge". You should get an item with the effect: "~~Mysterious (Item) of Death~~"
Increases hit chance by 100%, critical strike chance by 90% and damage by 0-1000, but sets defence and dodge chance to 0 and decreases HP by 80%.

I beat this game in that way: conquer Grouzeno, set intelligence to 60, master art of war (and patriotism if you're Forest Guy!) and these Great Heroes with 2800 hp and dealing 500-700 dmg will capture the cities in no time. Check it up by yourself!

Selecting the bow chick and maxing patriotism, art of war, and intelligence, then conquering Grouzeno and Buying 10 Great Heroes, you literally have an invincible army that can't be killed. Even by the black samurai in Echigo. I have never lost a unit after all three stats are maxed, no matter the enemies.

I love the game's loot system: Whatever the enemy dies with, you get. I wish more games were like that, and that you could equip certain weps to certain customized soldiers.

TALK ABOUT FUNNY!
There are 78,000 medium badges awarded agains 84,000 hard ones.
So hard is easier than medium?
So people managed to conquer all 32 cities without hitting 500 damage even ONCE?
oh god.

I like what happens if you try to capture a town that is already yours. "Sire, this town is already ours! We can't kill our own people for nothing!" Your character's response? "... hmm Okay" XD

If you want the medium badge, you have to find a special weapon (blue background). Some of them have a huge damage boost.

PROTIP for the hard badge: You can AVOID FIGHTS!
On the 'prepare for battle...' screen you can avoid the battle by just right-clicking with your mouse and clicking 'back'. tadaa
And even better: The city is then captured!
