After a certain point, the enemies don't change appearance, but get progressively stronger and have much higher HP. It seems like a lazy and poor design decision, since the player can't accurately judge their strength and has to be tediously cautious in the later levels... and I'm not just saying that because almost every time I play, I've gotten within spitting distance of floor 15 just to get totally wasted by two unpredictably strong blue knights that I couldn't even see.

For everything that is good, please, please, please don't forget to keep fire and ice resist items. They are 100% necessary at the later levels with the ice damage chargers and fire spitting fighters. DON'T WASTE TIME LIKE I DID

A Vampire Reaper is VERY powerful. The critical ability mixed with the Vampire heal will give you huge amounts of health whenever crit is activated.

LOOOOOOVE how building intellegence changes the charicteristics of the summoned undead in the necromancer. brilliant!

how can i get whole picture up. i have lost the right side from about 1/2 way through the battle instructions including the inventory access!

Hmmm... suddenly the game froze when I was walking. Now I can only open my inventory or mute, but I'm still getting hit. For some reason, it's making me level up every 4 seconds, so I'm able to max out my abilities, I just can't move. o_O

This is an A+ game, feeling very retro with its start over from death (a feature i feel should be kept) and a fantastic range of choices for different builds and designs. You did a great job making this game and i hope to see alot more like this in the future :)
P.s. maybe pearls can be used in a random wepon/armor generator shop? 100 might get you a regular with random stats, 1000 might get you a green with random, 10000 get you a blue and so on?

how I vampire gets health from a enemy by attacking enemys? He`s not even sucking out blood. + he should have spell that does that and it should turn them into party mates for the whole game, that would be pretty sick

Every time I play, the same thing happens. I'm going along killing everything like flies. Then I go to the next floor and get mascaraed by the first room of enemies.

@meetad: that's exactly what I thought while I was playing! Fate's better, but as a flash game, this is great as well IMO.

from the "authors comments" on newgrounds "(To those requesting a savegame feature, this is currently not implemented due to the large amount of data present in generated items. I intend to implement character saving in it's sequel.)"

Ugh. Very first floor on the new char... Go to the nearest room, aggro 4 enemies and the boss... That char didn't last long.

Ok, no save... But is it possible to re-farm the same level again to reduce change of dieing and losing all progress? Also what are pearls used for?

I'm a werewolf necromancer. this is my 3rd try i like this one though... all these other suggestions are just not good as this.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
What are the mana pearls for?! I mean.... really... 1. You don't use them for squat. 2. Even though it is a achievement, shouldn't they be used, for example, buying better items than a worn dagger!? Click + if you agree...

This game is very similar to Fate. I enjoy both games! Fate is a full-size version where you can save your progress and get missions from people in town. There are some differences between the games, which I appreciate. For example, it is really nice not to have to warp back to town or prowl the levels in search of a merchant in order to sell your items.
This is a great game! Thanks for making it!

apparently another way to die is to fall straight through the bottom of the world and have all of your health rapidly drian away and die

a duelist works well with the entagle spell and points in strength. entangle ensures you can run away and paralyze all but 1 enemy giving you the dueling bonus and reducing how much damage you take.

For those wondering, the vampire's healing ability is about 20% of the physical damage, so if you do 20 damage, you heal 4. It seems to be in fives, though, so 15-19 should heal you 3.

Does higher INT affect the charm ability? If only there were a timer in effect for the spells which do damage over time and those which just affect enemy for a period of time.

Just a note. The armor and resist categories work in percentages, not points. So if you get resistance or armor (physical attacks) values over 100 you will be immune to that type of attack.
