Useful tip : Sanctify effects STACKS ! One sanctify doesn't provide you enough HPregen to survive a fight ? Then spam 2-3+ Sanctify and you will regen way faster ;) With a Celestial and good armor/resistance/stamina you'll be pretty much invincible ! Just don't forget it doesn't last forever. Just upg all stats at same rate, a little much on Stamina and less on Willpower (since Sanctify only costs 100Mana and you won't have to spam it 20 times in a fight)

i like the necromancer, but its a pity, that the skeletons stop become stronger after int is 20. more int doesnt make them stronger.

Vampire wanderer took me to the 30th floor. Had just enough willpower to almost always be under the effect of the Shield spell, and invested all the rest in Strength. Self-healing while hitting scales with your damage output and i ended up hitting for more than 500 per swing, effectively healing for 100 health. That was a lot of fun. Great game, can't believe it's actually 9 years old..

Once you've reached a high level with high resistance to elemental damage, as well as overall high stats regardless of weapon and armour bonus you'll be able to simply gather hordes of enemies and slay them for ridiculous amounts of experience points. Its also fun to slay all the non-charging enemies and have the charging ones follow you, once you have an army of chargers follow you they will actually make you go run faster. Also the levels continue indefinitely.

It would be much better if you put in a store where you could buy stuff. Either make every few levels there is a store level, or a store section in the level, like after you fight the boss. Maybe let you upgrade items, but at least buy more items.

Don't you just love it when you are surrounded by a crap ton of enemies and you cant move past them and you die with all the decent stuff you had so do I!

get a vamp+reaper character.....get str and int way HIGH, have some stamina and some willpower,.....this will allow your character to hit generaly very high and killing most monsters solo and when u press crit it will 5x your damage (had a lvl 16 vamp reaper dealin 40-50 regular damage healin 15-20 life a hit to pressing crit and dealing 200+ damage a hit healing 80-100 hp a hit while at the same time 1 hit killing most monsters :D.....great build for getting down them floors xD

there needs to be a shop to buy stuff with your pearls also multiplayer would be nice ............ Oh and if there was multiplayer make a trading system + if you agree

When you get later into the game - been playing it for 9 hours or something lol - it gets very easy. I reached 2.000.000 mana pearls, got lvl 57 or something, because i went full armor and resistance. I basically went immortal on my 150 ice resistance (if you get over hundred, mobs of that type cant damage you - they heal your mana full with every attack), and so i could spam the heal button, not taking damage - I only stopped because it got to boring, if i would i couldve gotten unlimited levels. At the floor i was at the weapon drops gave me about 500 damage on one hit, and the chestplates gave around 100 armor each.
- Maybe you could make the late game a bit harder next time?
Btw, why didnt i get any achievements? I obviously reached higher than floor 15 >.>

When one finds an issue with a game, my advise is to check the next page or two to find one's answer, as it may be a difficulty which others have also encountered. Jaw1997, I will again post my recommendations for the problem you listed. Exit to your prior page, then adjust your zoom before reentering. (For some reason, adjusting the zoom while in this game, does not fix the problem. And yes, if you are in the middle of a game, since you would have to start over regardless, you might as well at least get yourself killed first, so that you can unlock a title. Backing out of the game is what I have to do when using my Opera, if I happened to have entered the game with my zoom incorrect. I have checked, and I do notice though that it does seem to self-adjust on Chrome. So some browsers do not have this predicament.)

A really fun game , I agree a save feature would be fantastic . How about some way to spend the pearls . Maybe to buy upgrades to weapons or armor. Just a thought

Displays fine in Firefox, but is zoomed in and loses legibility around the borders in Google Chrome.

BDJ7777, actually, the standard for flash games is to store your files as cookies on your computer. When your cookies are cleared, your data for most flash games are deleted. This was not developed as a long term title, but more a minigame for your amusement.

Something I only just now noticed after who even knows how many runs: You can have one spell on you or an enemy at a time. Trying to poison someone you've entangled ends the entangle; prepping Crit on yourself while you have a shield up drops the shield.

There seems to be a small glitch going on... every once in awhile when I play, the game lags a little bit, and if it lags during a battle and I win the battle, my XP bar fills and I level... then it fills again... and again... and again... and again... over and over until I click enough around to break the lag. After that, millions of drops to cash in on, but the game becomes unplayable because of the lag... it only gets worse after the initial lag/XP jump...
Usually when I refresh, it works fine, but I'm not sure why the glitch occurs in the first place. =\

lvl 100 and the game is not a challenge anymore. time to die. mobs always remain the same now. ice axe guys deal the most damage. boss is the weakest mob on the floor.

Just a tip, Make your race werewolf (if you want) and for the first few levels, only upgrade your stamia, soon you get to the point where you can take on a boss and his minions (with magic of course) and gain health as you are fighting, if you take on too many though, you might need to use some healing spells.
Just thought that I would share my little secret.

If you have problems reaching the 15th floor use this build:
Werewolf + Wanderer - spend all points in Stamina - later on focus on getting element resistance items (ice and fire specially).
The insane HP Regen comboed with high resistances will make you almost unkillable (remember: 100 res makes you completely Invulnerable to that element!)
*Not necessary but heplfull: get an item with Charm spell to speed up kills and distract those few that can still hurt you.
[With this build I reached lvl64, got bored, screened, then started aggroing 2 rooms at the same time to see if I could actually die. LOL ]

I really love how when you view an item in your inventory, not only does it show its stats, but on the side it shows your equipped item's stats too!

A good strategy is to get Golem Cursed, and then get all the resist and armor you can find.then if you're lucky you will get the skill Sanctify which steadily heals you, allowing you to fight nonstop. (putting points into Stamina helps also)

If you're having trouble getting the HARD badge, try this:
Char: VAMPIRE HUNTER. Choose STR-boost Titles.
Stats: Until the 15th floor, for every level: Strength +3, Stamina +1.
Items: Have Shield and/or Heal equipped. The MOST important stats are Armor and Ice Resist, then Damage. No magic attacks. ALWAYS have back-up gear with ICE RESIST, so that when the BLUE CHARGING KNIGHTS start to appear, you can switch to them, even if that means sacrificing a bit of armor. Before dungeon level 10, your Ice should be at least 50%, and preferably 100%. Don’t waste time with stat bonuses.
After you've reached the 15th floor, you can get more creative with your stats. On the 32nd floor, my Vampire Hunter reached level 100 with the following: Str 312, Stm 117, Will 13, Int 20. I do 2000+ dmg, receive no ice damage, heal myself 300+ with each attach and and do 2-hit kills.
Enemies: Try focusing on luring one enemy at a time, especially if your armor/ice resist are low.

If you drag an equipped item to switch with something in your inventory, you can equip things that don't fit. For example, I had a good weapon, but there was a sword that had some good buffs and a spell I wanted. My helmet sucked, so I dragged the helmet to the sword, and boom goes the dynamite. I'm wearing a sword for a helmet. It's a pretty handy trick.

I think that if I have two pieces of armor that give me the same spell like create skeleton, it should let me use it twice and create two minions.

Im stuck in an endless loop gaining XP. I'm leveling up endlessly but I can't do anything! I am incredibly happy and sad at the same time.
