pretty good graphical style, but it could use some variation in the villagers, and maybe some blood. I personally liked the pov and control system.

the animations were nice, the graphics were nice, especially for such a small resolution game, however the side scrolling was probably a poor choice, it would most likely be better if you were like, behind the horseman. You could also then add an animation with the villiages looking behind them as you approach :P

i kept running over the villagers with my horse, and didn't get havoc points for that. but at least they didn't get away...

Really great game :)
Some more variety could be nice but not that much, the nice thing about this game is the neat feeling. Maybe some running women to slaughter :)
The only nice addon could be a round shadow under the peasants so that you can avoid them easier, sometimes isn't easier to understand if you are in the right position.
PS: answering to "after a bit of Double and Perfect there isn't anything else to see", there are "Triple" and "Amazing" too (hard to achieve below 2k points) :-)

Sadly, replay value is (obviously) about the only thing hurting this game. I agree with MDRL - the presentation, graphics/animation, concept - it's all wonderful. The music's very appropriate too, though, as much as I love the head bouncing sound, I'd like to hear some sort of decapitation sound as well (yes, I'm sick...).
For everyone complaining about the horse running over people - that's part of the skill of the game, plus whenever someone gets by you you lose health, so running over is a quick way to save yourself.
I fully expect to see a badge on this one! Well done!

shit this game fucks up my vision! after playing things above and beyond the center of vision appears to be moving on the screen. anyone else?

needs a little variety, also, make it maybe a little bit easier to see when you're right next to a villager, so you don't always run over them. powerups would be nice, as would maybe some permanent upgrades, as well as maybe other stuff to kill. I dunno. Over all, nice idea, could be better executed.

lol, 666 points on my first try. Nice. Fun little game, does get a little old after a bit, and I wish the screen was bigger. The controls are a little difficult, but good concept, especially with Halloween coming up soon.

This game is brilliant at what it does, which is to be a quick game that anyone can pick up and play without too much dedication. A bit too slow paced, but beautifully made. Power ups and such would probably ward off some of the boredom.

2/5 because the controls are difficult, you trample (0 points D: ) more people than you behead, and because it ceases being interesting after 30 seconds.

I got a weird bug... after I lost and the horseman dissolved, I kept trampling villagers with an "invisible" horseman... It cracked me up!

The decapitations are cute for about 30 seconds, but good grief how boring can you get? And constantly trampling the people you want to slaughter? Needs to be bigger, I agree w/ others. 2/5

For the record. I "flag" all comments that just state their comment number. And Hghost, you're comments are waste of space. And your picture wasted 220kB of my F*%#^$g bandwidth. Thats not cool.

oh yeah, good game. LOVE the headless horseman, i'm always talking about him chopping off peoples heads so this is a dream come true. 5/5

Mindless destruction--one of my favorite pastimes. Great, except it's a little hard to decapitate people when you end up trampling them again. Maybe make the screen a little bigger for accuracy's sake? Otherwise, 4'd.

amusing for a short time, but goal-less; gets really, really boring after a minute or two of getting "Perfect!" "Double!".
