"easiest" way to do it: Only worry about the shield base and your main base. Unless you are a god of micro-managing, it's nearly impossible to protect all 5 buildings. So just put points into your main building and the shield building. The shield building will be there to save you when you take a few hits, and your main building will do the rest of the work. It just takes patience and accuracy beyond that.

Hmm maybe after buying everything resources should be usable to buy more shielding or something when the shields run low

My advices for getting impossible:
(1.)Although music is f*cking epic, DISABLE IT right now. It makes you very nervous (my performance improved a lot when I realize I had to disable it)
(2.)It seems upgrading the building isn't necessary and only the main building is important but IT ISN'T. You always must go for shield lvl 3, flak lvl 4 and EMP lvl 2 (beside the missile reload upgrade). This way with flak and EMP you get a lot of kills and disabled missiles for the medal.
(3.) The "take a break" advice is also very good, from time to time, pause the game and masturbate yourself or stuff.
I got the 4 medals in a single game. Luck!

If the game displays in the top right of the screen (smaller than normal size), you can correct it by right clicking, then selecting 'zoom in', then 'zoom out'. For a totally black screen right-click and select 'play'.
Hope this helps!

you spent $1,000,000,000,000 on all those missiles to blow up 5 buildings, you call it a victory, I'll call it the alamo.

Please take the time to look up what Mutually Assured Destruction is... the name of this game was not ripped off of some tv show or what ever, I assure you that.

-Captain, shoudn't we just drop a bomb so big they would die even if they destroyed it? +Nah, just keep up with the carpet bombing. -Fine, I'll go launch some guided missiles to their main building. +No. Just throw random missilies in a random pattern. -But... +I said random missiles in a random pattern!!!

So I downloaded the SWF to peek inside the code to see what's going on with the badges-- it looks like the way it reports medals is like this: "_root.kongregateStats.submit("deadeye", 4);" The Kong API is only set to track the value of any medals earned and not the actual statistics. If you get a "4", it means you got bronze, "3" is silver, "2" is gold, "1" is platinum.

I think my favorite part of the game is the way the missles tumble. Late game when you are basically able to fire anywhere and hit a half dozen missles those tumblers are just beautiful to watch

'i have so many missiles i could destroy ANY city no matter how well defended' 'i bet you couldn't even destroy 5!'' Oh, you're on'

My opinion: first building and last building = awesome combo - the extra cap banks allow for a continuous flak explosion. Eventually add in the EMP and you're set for quite a while!

I'm coming back to this game every half year thinking "hey, maybe today's the day you get that impossible badge" and once again I'm proven wrong

Ultimate startegy: sacrifice the buildings and beef up the main building. It gets you pretty far in, and firing missiles all over the place is fun. Especially when you hit things.
