@cheezezbergrpls its cause most ppl who get over 10 mil are hackers stupid ass its because most ppl use cheat engine to get the high score

The comments may be long since reviewed, but I thought I'd throw in my two cents. I think that in order to make the game more fun, the first question is scale. Within the first couple days, I spent most of the flight off of the screen. The background feels like I'm moving at a snail's pace, which may be true compared to the late game, but I think some more interactivity would make it more of a game, and less of a movie

Arrg! Why wasn't I told the game ends at 10 000 000 miles!! And after pressing the right arrow for nearly 10min, dumbly staring at the screen without anything to do. Why can't I go on after "all of Smaug's treasure" is found?? Would be a nice little game if it weren't for this. Sorry, but 1h of my life that I can't get back... Ah, now I get the "no refunds" at the time-played-screen..you sneaky bastard ;)

I got 40 thousand something gold for going almost 80 thousand distance..... then I got 60 thousand something gold for going only 60 thousand distance. I understand there might have been a difference in the amount of gold I picked up, but I have never picked up that much in one launch. Also, I was going slow and my guy bounced up into the air with nothing around but air, I launch at a higher angle and get half as high without hitting anything either time, and I am not entirely sure that the "gives x amount of gold per second of flight" actually works or not. I say that the maker needs to take a serious look at the game and see if he gets the same results as everyone else. Also, not being able to continue makes the game almost pointless to play.

It keeps recording my distance, but feels like I have a better chance at a slot machine than to get the game to record my height. Another thing is the game seems very inconsistent in terms of how the obstacles work. I can hit something and bounce 10k in the air like I had a space shuttle launching me while other times I can hit the same thing exactly the same way and it either doesn't do anything or throws me down to the ground. I am very tempted to rate the game a 1, but it is an interesting game... so I say 2.5/5

I got ripped off. When the game ends, at 10mil feet, you don't get credit for that day. I had almost 3mil height. Only bounced one time in all 10mil feet.

i know why people had 170k and couldn't buy the level 3 cannon, it actually had cost 270k and they just couldn't read the font. sorry. As for the autosave feature, i have tried before and i do not exactly know how to do it, if anyone can post a link to a good as2.0 tutorial, i will try and implement it.

Von, great attempt on a first game, in fact could be in the top ten launch games ever with improvements, first fix: save feature!!! I didn't play for three hours to come back and start over on such a repetitive game...

The flight distance seemed too easy to start. I would have liked to see more time spent trying to gain upgrades rather than controlling an off screen hobbit. Good fist game though

I have 171990.28 can't buy cannon upgrade level 3 for 170000, specific example of a continuing problem, need to fix this bug

have the money round, no point in having 579.99999 dollars, the game play is a little stiff, perhaps follow the crowd and have the dwarf animated each time he bounces, and then you have a pretty good game, upgrades very comprehensive

Scale of everything is wrong. Screen only goes up to 2000 ft but you regularly fly to 5000+. Screen is too small relative to your size and movement speed, there's no time to steer. Upgrades cost too much, unless you use the gold collector, meaning the other options in the shop are pointless. Upgrades scale way too much, so you simply upgrade everything to level 2, then everything to level 3, and so on -- no strategy of what to upgrade. And if the game needs instructions, put them in the game, most people don't bother reading the text instructions. Since your mom got on your account, I'm guessing this is an early attempt at gaming, so good job on your first one. Keep going and keep reading comments and you'll make some good stuff.

Why are there stationary X-wing fighter in a game about bilbo? And who is that man masquearading as bilbo really? And why is he spending most of the first flight above the screen?
2 minutes 30 seconds, 44000 feet flight at 11000 feet high for an F on the first flight? And the text is way too small. This was simply not fun to watch (and I read comment for most of the flight anyway.)

maybe i should point a few things out....
1. To get an "A" rank you need to get 10Mil feet distance, it will automatically go to the ending.
2. I was too lazy to make sure some objects stay on the ground(it looked too choppy)
3. I will add sounds for the obstacles, i had my friend make them but I guess i forgot to add them
4. the comment about reading the instructions was posted by my mother... sorry
5. I will add a beastiary, i had never thought of that.
6. I also like easterwave's comments about midflight upgrades to fuel. i might add it.
Thank you for playing.

Players - if you take the time and really read the instructions before you start, it's a lot easier. I like it and plan on playing it a lot more. Great job on the sound and graphics. (5/5)

Another shoot-the-xxxxx game. I played that through day 10 but it is not really inviting me to continue. Same obstacles, slow slow upgrades... hm. I would not play this again, unless you include bonus upgrades that refuel the rocket etc. etc.

Objects that obviously should be on the ground are in the sky.
Bilbo routinely goes far above the screen range, even on the first few flights.
None of the objects have an animation or sound when hit. This would make it more visually appealing.
I'd take out the "Inventory" page. Or put something useful in it.
You need a way to get back to the main menu without refreshing the page.
Achievements would be good.
This has a lot of potential but also needs a lot of work.

Upon first glance it is good, perhaps a larger area could be shown. A larger view would help for strategic movements for bounces. I like the upgrade system. I would appreciate a bestiary or information on the obstacles I am bouncing on and maybe even the effects of some. For the money system, round the decimals. Be realistic with obstacles as a swamp generally does not float in air. The portal could do more than just boost, maybe teleport higher and father a bit. I would like to see some sort of achievements page, this gives players a reason to spend time on your well deserved game. Finally, I am debating on if the upgrade system is too difficult to satisfy, it takes a lot of time to earn money and it takes even more money to purchase one or two upgrades. Enjoying the Statistics page :)

I´m a great fan of launch games and this one, though it might need some improvements when it comes to sound and graphics, is good and might be a winner... for now 3/5

I dislike the menu system every thing is written really small makes me not want to bother reading the info about the items that I might buy in the shop. I would also like to be able to get rid of the timer in the corner, I really don't want to know how much of my life I have wasted.

Please feel free to comment, but please be constructive. I know you may think this game is awful, but please elaborate on the reason you think it is.
Here is an example of what to do:
"I don't like Hobbit Launch because of XYZ"
Here is an example of what not to do:
"This game sucks."
