I think the most tense moment for me was getting to level 14 and having 1 life left. By some miracle of wordplay I managed to get to level 16 with 18 guesses and an easy word "King Arthur" Hitting that final letter was so exhilarating I have never enjoyed a game of hangman more

@NagyB: Glad you tried it! The blocks fall when you win because of the ~~~, which is used to separate levels. Because there's nothing after the ~~~, after you beat your first level you get an empty level, where the non-letter blocks disappear but the letters stay where they were. Deleting the ~~~ in the Levels text box should take care of the problem. (Also, you're missing a few letters in your level, such as w.)

@wolfkid7 - Sounds like a performance issue. Try going to the settings menu and changing the quality from "highest" to "fastest". If that doesn't solve it let me know.

Here's a pretty cool level I made langman?author=Maxx&words=Balaclava%0aTeddy+Picker+%0aD+is+for+Dangerous%0aFluorescent+Adolescent&levels=%2f%2f+The+levels+are+represented+as+text.%0a%2f%2f+Each+character+represents+a+different+object.%0a%2f%2f%0a%2f%2f+Lines+that+start+with+%2f%2f+(like+this+one)+are+ignored.%0a%2f%2f%0a%2f%2f+Legend%0a%2f%2f++%40+++%3d+langman%27s+starting+point%0a%2f%2f++a-z+%3d+letter+block%0a%2f%2f++%23+++%3d+block%0a%2f%2f++|+++%3d+pillar%0a%2f%2f++_+++%3d+horizontal+pillar%0a%2f%2f++0+++%3d+sphere%0a%2f%2f++*+++%3d+star+(1000+points)%0a%2f%2f++%2b+++%3d+mini-star+(100+points)%0a%2f%2f++%21+++%3d+bomb%0a%2f%2f++1-9+%3d+moving+block+(the+number+indicates+how+far+it+travels+vertically)%0a`27+`%0a`29+`|+|`6+`%0a%0a`30+`%40`17+`%0a`35+`%0a`30+`0%0a%0a`32+`%0a`41+`%0a`27+``4%23``9+`|%0a`31+`A`8+`%0a`32+`E`8+`%0a`33+`I`8+`BCDFGHJKLMNPQRSTVWXYZ`8+`%0a`34+`O%0a`35+`U`4+`1%23%0a`12+`

All in all, I really liked the game. The learning curve hit the sweet spot for me, even on the second and third playthrough, because the levels change depending on what word they have and when you guess what letters. I actually found it played kind of like nethack, where you can plow ahead guessing letters willy-nilly, in which case you will die more often or back yourself into a corner; or you can carefully consider each move and its effects on your environment, playing more slowly and more successfully. This game supports either approach (although obviously favoring carefulness in the later levels, which are pretty much impossible without it), and that's great. I'm gonna be playing this game a lot.

Great, innovative game, bringing together unique elements from two genres for a whole new experience. One note - the challenging nature of the jumps is great, but the controls seem to be really glitchy, with frequent moments of shuddering ending with your guy in pretty random places. Same deal with pushing boxes - every now and then they just explode everywhere, scattering to the four winds - and never, predictably, when you'd want them to. If you're going to demand such precision from the player, you'd better deliver a control scheme that does the same, or it's just really frustrating. Other than that, awesome.

needs a setting that if u dont have a bomb and u cant get to letters u need u would be able to kick but a weak kick though

In level 6 you can drop the block next to the long block and then push the long block over to create an easier jump to the letters!

I'm really sorry about the crashes that some people have experienced when collecting stars. I've uploaded a new version of the game that uses a workaround Unity's QA folks provided to me. Please leave a comment if you are still experiencing crashes.

@frondome: there's a really basic level editor hidden in the game. Try hitting E from the main menu. (Note: High scores will be disabled once you've edited the game.) If people are interested, I might expand this feature, enable sharing of custom levels, etc.

I was dissapointed by unity.... I could do all of that 5x less complicatd and quicker with better graphics through Blockland Mission Editor.

I think he meant to make it so your couldn't select a block underneath one. It makes it so you have to use order. Good game by the way :D
