Please correct me if I am wrong as I have not played this game too much but this is what I have been seeing so far and I hope that they can make more balances regarding the units. Thumbs up so that newer players can see this. ^^
Out of the 9 starting units I find that Ballistas are always consistent but only if there are in a row where your opponent puts a lot of units. Onagers happen to be the most powerful unit when formations only consist of 1-3 units in the early levels of the game as they will deal double damage for 40%-70% of the time. Shielders when used properly are able to stall up to 3 opposing units with their invincibility skill, golden cavalry and shadow cavalry don't do as much damage but are still viable, flame light infantry, flame spearmen, light infantry, and frost longbow men are not that good concerning how their specials deal almost no damage and takes their turn.

ranting you are a little bit wrong. 1=pay to win is not true becouse it only speeds up and its possible even easy to defeat an payer. 2=too big for your screen? holy moses i tihnk its too small. 3= and no this game is not realy only from kong. thank you for reading :D

I read IMNOTCRAZY comment and it a fact about the 1st comment is in Feb while the game published in march but...... why people rate it down........ when it only said " Welcome to Warflow"

1kcal: enhance cards are not in your inventory. To see how many you have go to the training heros tab in your training ground. They are on the bottom next to "enhance"

I don't know where is enhance cards in my inventory and how do I upgrade my totems.
It's a bit difficult for me to understand well but I checked about it at CS Help...

When I was going to try this game I thought its going to be another one of the "cash-suckers" under the tittle of free to play but I was definitely pleasantly surprised how very-well balanced the game actually is where all you can do with cash is pretty much just speed things up and boost your heroes a little bit but still not so much to make them overpowered.
So in the end both both paying or non-paying players will be able to compete with each other on even ground.
And all the features you unlock as you play definitely prolong the gameplay and make the game much more fun just when you think the game had nothing more to offer.
Definitely one of the very few MMOs that is actually worth playing and could really be considered Free to play

bloody marmite, love it or hate it, sorry its a hate it, just played too many of these games, i would love a game where you can edit the rules, change the layout, make it your own (this is just me blabing, but i have just played too many of these games and it is like marmite.

@ Killing - I am not sure what you mean. In my investment window I see the notice "Note: Investment can increase RP". PR is used when it comes to "Party Raids" - attacks on the Elite Legions that you can perform in a team with other players.

@ Nathan11101 - I grew up with Sid Meier's Colonization from 1994, so I can call everything from Evony over Three Kingdoms to Warflow a rip-off. Beat that! ^^ Seriously though, it is no secret that there are many nation-building games in this distinctive style. Just play the one that is most fun to you :)

@ Killingforfun - RP stands for "Reputation Points". Citizens like it when you shower their city with silver. A lot ;D - @ gabbert - Thanks :) I have been playing this game for a long time now, so I had lots of opportunities to identify good decisions and recognize mistakes *gg*

nice idea with boxes. i find where i can fast spend more silver --> invest on world map. but its extremally wasted spend 150-200k to receive 10 PR, while you get 60 RP for defeat in pvp...
with boxes you have something at least.

i found an big fail... when u have to much silver and to much items in your inventory and get a better weapon u cant hold it becouse its impossible to sell becouse u have to much silver so....
its realy annoying

@ mivader - That is why I wrote that some of my recommendations are available later. @ rain - Everyone got through that phase ^^ Have you bought a third builder? It greatly speeds up your building progress. You are gradually granted new buildings that you can upgrade to your current level, which takes lots of silver. Always bring all buildings to your Town Center level before upgrading it more. Also, use the gold you occassionally get to buy inventory slots (and never to speed up something!). I have ended up with 24 slots, which is a bit of an overkill, but gives some freedom in storing items :)

@ Plixus - i already up to 7+ all what i have, and its low level white items for 4-8 lvl, and i cant sell it and by more, bucause cap, i cant even just throw it (although it is not correct - i must have possibility to sell it)

what a stupid bunuses in silver for every action!!! spend mcu +lot of silver, up town center +++lot of siver, fart +++++ lot of silver!! i cant do anithing with very low silver cap! cant change ammunition for heroes because inventory is full, can sell anithing, because silver cap. I try to up treasury, but with each up town center i have A LOT bonus silver again. whf??? up treasury +5k cup, but up town center +50k or more bonus. What a stupid situation!!! by the way i have uncomplete even low level quest because its reward silver again....

@ rain - There are various ways to spend silver, some of them available later: Invest in your city (via the world map), donate to your legion, use the Horse/Cloak Dealer. But most importantly, you can spend lots of silver on upgrading :) In the long term, yellow items are best - it will be quite a while before you get even better colors. This is the ranking from worst to best: White, Green, Blue, Yellow, Red, Purple, Bright Red. So if you do not have yellow items yet, upgrade your blue ones :)

how to spend lot of silver? i have 250k silver with 22k cup and have no idea, how to spend it. i have all what i need. And also i cant levy, and cant complete even first quests because this cap.

@dshmilowitz: Upgrade Formation: You have to move to Loyan and upgrade your town center to 11. After that you have to upgrade your War academy. Now you may upgrade the Formation.
