too short. 5/5 still. good potential but do something with the combatr engine... (some weapons of the same grade are useless, some OPed and the way enemys come in waves can get boring after a while, change would be nice) also add some proper ending or something, i ended the gave without any top tier equipment and although i would like to see it i have to reason to gather it or use it now...

You don't find new equips very often, just a bunch of the same old stuff. The stages are really long, and it gets really repetitive. 3/5

Oh god the final levels are so long and hard (like my wang) but you also get to fight a goddang planet in the end so (also like my wang) so it's all good (again, like my wang.)

Very nice shoot-em up.
The Cascade Rocket Launcher is the best weapon I've found (x4), After I got it, I rarely saw enemies appear on the screen.
Though I'm wondering, is there an ending sequence I missed out on?

Kept me busy for a while. A note though, lightning guns + lack of backwards targeting ship = easy. And I broke it. :( Deep Space Mission 01 boss, phase 3, lightning gun took out the circles before the shields, and after everything was dead it didn't take me to the completed dialogue. There was nothing left to target, but I couldn't move on.

ok game. Recycling missed a feature though; saved up, recycled 5 combat shotgun x3, and got... a shield. Also, i got a focused laser. with LCK 100:1. And it misses. A laser. pointed directly at the enemy. which does not move. and it misses. Wow.

Wow, this game has just proven that you can in fact get a dead bloody boring game if you ignore the game and concentrate solely on progression mechanics.

OMG i was atonished at the saw blade launchers epicness. not the first crappy one, but the others. just because each blade does it's damage about 4, or 5 times and it's rapid fire. not only that but when the enemy die by blades, they all fall down on the enemy below for more carnage. =D

With a stupefying range of dull enemies, bland weapons and a story-line so boring you might just eat your fingers, Redshift is an evolution on insomnia cures. 2/5

played this when it first came out on whatever site. brilliant game. best weapon BY FAR cascade rocket launcher (x3 was the highest i saw) it absolutely SHREDS enemies in the later levels. the last level, for example, i was able to kill the final (final) boss without him getting off any shots.
btw, best shield is the XM-0001 or whatever. 100 units of sheild reflecting time? AMAZING. also, each reflected shot does 100dmg :D

The chance to miss on attacks is usually reserved for RPGs where the player only selects the Attack option and it's random whether the attack hits. In real time action games, I miss when I miss and hit when my bullets hit. But here, even when I hit, I still may miss? This seems out of place.

If you think the x3 Shotguns are crazy, let me tell you this: Doom Shotgun x6.
Recycling goes like this: Scrap five unwanted equips, get one at random. The number is just how many draws you have.
Oh, yeah, and in the later levels, you're gonna need that shield, because Bullet Hell is probably going to be unleashed. (Suddenly fourty absorbed shots for the Titanium Edge EMP Absorb shield won't seem like a lot.)

Cool idea, but has some serious problems. The levels are quite repetitive- it would be nice to see enemies with more interesting move patterns. The levels are also probably too long. Lastly, please remove sheild items entirely, they only clutter my inventory.

Although I made a long post about the down sides I did give it a 4/5. Still a good game, but I can see a lot more coming out of it. It runs very smooth and the controls are easy enough. Even making the enemies more complex(like ones from behind you or something) would improve on it.

Getting a little bored atm so I'll post now and take a break. - Very repetitive and could use more customization. The idea is good, perhaps break down the gun parts a bit more so we can mix and match a bit more. - Allowing us to put our own stat points where we want them (hp, attack, dodge) would add a bit more spice rather than just picking a ship. This could also be added in as parts. - Levels mean nothing to gear. Getting the first few levels is easy and then you don't have to worry at all about equip levels. - The enemies are way to obvious and with a good shield and gun go down easy. Get a long duration EMP shield with a good 3x shotgun and you're set for most of the game. ATM I have an EMP shield that does 750 damage and a 4x grenade launcher(even more OP than the shotgun) and everything just dies fast. Seems those are the only two guns worth using as well, rest of them suck and need some work(like a swirling bullet machine gun. Probably out of room by now... so I'll stop..
